We have stayed here three times to celebrate my husband's birthday in the mountains. The View House is a special place.

The house was amazing, you are staying in a work of art really, this is not your normal rental, its like staying in someones home, who has traveled the world, and hired a great interior decorator. It was really great with 3 downstairs bedrooms and a real wood fireplace! The views are amazing, close to everything, and even has a great bonus room (out of the way) and perfect for kids with babies. Can't say enough about it, would stay again for sure and would love to meet the people who own it, sure they have great stories about building it!!

This was our second stay at The View House, and it didn't disappoint once again. We were lucky enough to experience beautiful winter scenery due to snowfalls on two occasions during our stay. The breathtaking overlook from the home's deck was picture-perfect with the fallen snow on the mountains and in the valleys. Also, the home's location is really wonderful, it's in a private/secluded area but a close drive into town for anything you may need or want to do. We appreciate the opportunity to have been able to stay in this magnificent, unique home. We will definitely be back for a third visit!

What a beautiful place for family or friends team vacation in Boone, Blowing Rock areas! This is a great location house to both of Blowing Rock & Boone. Specially to The charming town Blowing Rock. We had lunch/dinner over there everyday. The house is in a high end quality built up standard. We enjoyed spending time in the kitchen. The living room. The open office. The master bedroom and the huge space for the master bath is amazing. We slept so good every night. Woke up with a beautiful sunshine spreading into the window. What’s a gorgeous Mountain View!

The home was beautiful and comfortable. It had everything we needed for Thanksgiving dinner and a week stay with our family. And the cherry on top was the view- it was breathtaking! Will stay here again.

Our church leadership team planned a retreat to the mountains and we received more than what we planned for. The day we were set to leave for the retreat our original location experienced an issue where we could not stay there. I was able to speak with a representative who was able to assist us in finding another location, in such short notice. The representative was prompt and gave me multiple options to choose from. Upon arriving at our new location we all were in complete awe, the space was beyond beautiful and accompanied all of us comfortably. The master bedroom and bathroom were amazing (the shower alone was everything). This location was stocked with everything plus more. I left my charger at home and realized they had charging options available at the home (definitely a plus). The decor of the home was beautiful and we could tell a lot of detail was put into it. The view of this location was breathtaking and many individuals spent some time outside with the Lord. There is not one complaint that can be made about this location. This is definitely a location we would return too. As we continue our journey following God's Kingdom Agenda, this location was perfect for us and I thank God for putting us here.

What a house! What a view! This special family home is spectacular in a lot of ways. The front entrance is the most beautiful door I have ever seen. When you step into the front room you are immediately surrounded by a breathtaking view of the mountains. The kitchen and bedrooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The location is very convenient to both Boone and Blowing Rock. I would highly recommend this home.

This home is gorgeous and has great character, feels like your home away from home! If you're looking for a wonderful secluded area with a Mountain View that is picture perfect this is the house for you! It can accommodate a large family and friends group and the attention to detail from both the owners and the company that care takes this property is excellent, highly recommend, we've stayed in many properties over our vacationing years and this one ranks #1!

We stayed at View House at the end of January and couldn't have been happier with the house. It's very spacious, and everything felt very clean. The view is absolutely breathtaking! It's very close to town and didn't feel at all like we were far away from everything. The home was beautifully decorated and we had everything we needed to have an enjoyable trip. Overall, it was a great experience and the house was wonderful. Thank you!

"The View" House was the setting of an incredible and memorable Christmas holiday for our family. The home is conveniently located between Boone and Blowing Rock, just off the parkway, so it was easy to access grocery stores or other amenities we may have needed. There were 10 of us there, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Even our dogs had their own fenced in area, and doggy door, that made their stay enjoyable, too! It is a beautiful home and there is no doubt that it was built solidly and with great attention to detail. The kitchen was incredibly stocked, and has a super-large oven that was so very useful for the big holiday meal. Aptly named, the view was fabulous, and we enjoyed gorgeous sunrises and a newly-fallen snow as well. My first white Christmas and I can't imagine a better place and time for it! It was bitterly cold so we didn't spend much time on the outside porches, but would happily rent this one again in the summertime in order to do so. Easy to work with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals, and have done so many times. The company is always accessible, and their team is friendly. Your cannot go wrong with "The View" house, so I highly encourage booking it. Look forward to our next rental with BRMR!

We enjoyed every part about our stay. The view is breath taking! It was so comfortable for all 9 of us. The location is also very convenient to go downtown or experience the outdoors. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful property with nice appointments that show a lot of love and care. We had a lovely couples weekend and all four couples had a spacious bedroom. The kitchen and common areas worked well and flowed nicely.

The mountain home we rented was awesome and it felt just like home for our family vacation. The view was just amazing and on top of that the entire process was made seemless with the online booking, the keycode check in and even the option to add an extra night stay for a reduced rate. What a beautiful weekend we had celebrating our son's engagement in Blowing Rock. The View House offered the perfect place for our family to come together in one place. I graduated from graduate school on May 10th and decided to treat myself to The View House as a gift. I was looking for a place that had spectacular views, was upscale, and a place where I could just relax and enjoy the serenity of life for a few days. I invited my mom and niece to join me. We played games on the porch, drove the Blue Ridge Parkway, and visited downtown Blowing Rock for some shopping. We cooked fabulous Home Chef meals in their fully-equipped kitchen that was made for a professional chef, and it was positioned such that you could enjoy the most breathtaking views while cooking. I was completely blown away by this property. The house was immaculate and completely custom from the ground up. The views literally made me gasp when I walked into the front room. The decor had you walking around the house examining each piece and wondering about where the items came from. The owners completely outdid themselves with their attention to detail, all the way down to the doggie-door that led to the awesome play area equipped with a "play" fire-hydrant. My shih-tzus both loved the entire set up. (I even lost one of them for a few minutes in the house! Ha!) And I can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed the master shower. There was water coming from everywhere with all the jets! I would recommend this house over and over again and I thank the owners so much for sharing this gem with us. The only piece of constructive feedback I could think of would be to upgrade the outdoor furniture to better capitalize on that incredible view. Some lounge chairs or a swing might do the trick. Other than that.....don't change a thing! I have never been arrested, but I was tempted to roll the dice on squatting for a few days to see how long I could stay without getting kicked out! :)

The Blue Ridge Mountains are a sacred place to me and so, my wife and sons took me here to celebrate my 40th birthday. Everything was stunningly perfect. The location, the decor, the design, and of course the view. The owners and the property manager delivered on what was advertised and then some. The house was immaculate and everything you need for a comfortable stay was provided. The location was quiet and peaceful but it was only a short drive to enjoy restaurants and shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely return.

We stayed in View House, which is one of the most beautiful homes I have seen. The process from booking to leaving was seamless with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. Their instructions are very clear, everything from the directions, to the check-out process. The house was impeccable when we arrived and we wanted for nothing. The owners of View House clearly took great care in their design and decor and everywhere you looked your eye found a treasure. Especially all the pottery! Which I believe was crafted by the owner! We cannot wait to stay there again, very soon!

What a wonderful place to get away from all of the hustle of real life. Our family was able to stop and enjoy the uniqueness of this special place in every way. This home offers everything you could ever need. The layout is perfect for families and the kitchen has it all. But the most spectacular part of course is the breath taking views of the Blue Ridge mountains. It was so hard to leave. Amy at Blue Ridge Rentals was beyond accommodating and we hope to escape to this memorable place again.

Our stay at View House was much better than expected! Beautiful house with outstanding views on a quiet back road in the mountains, an amazing kitchen with anything you would need to cook a 5 star meal for 10+ people, and a master bathroom that is tough to beat (complete with doggie door for easy in and out during inclement weather). We first walked into the house and were blown away by the view out the large back window. This is by far the best rental house we have ever stayed in! We could sit out on the back deck all day and never get tired of the view. Plenty of space for a family vacation or a get together with good friends. If you decide to temporarily part ways with the house there is plenty to do within a short drive whether it's Blowing Rock, Linville Falls, Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, many excellent breweries, more hiking than you could achieve in a lifetime, or just walking around Appalachian State University. We loved the house so much that we stayed an extra day... we didn't want to leave! We would recommend it to any of our close friends or family and we will definitely be staying here next time we venture up to the mountains. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us!

We had the most fabulous time this past weekend! It was so nice to have all three of my children together – it does a mothers heart good to have all under one roof asleep at night, no matter how old both mother and child are. The house was spectacular.

Our home away from home from 10/21/15-10/30/15 was the property known as View House. This property is centrally located between Blowing Rock and Boone, mere minutes to Tweetsie Railroad. The first thing that impressed me was while the property was at the top of a mountain all the roads were paved except for the street the property was on and even that was gravel, making coming and going much less nerve racking. This home was even more impressive than the property listing. The exterior was beautiful featuring a cobblestone walk and stacked stone front porch overlooking a lovely yard that was completely enclosed, creating a safe environment for our toy poodle. In addition a dog run was available and assessable by a pet door in the master bath. The home itself was absolutely breathtaking offering wide plank floors, beautiful rugs, granite counters, two fireplaces and windows galore featuring views you may have only seen in photographs. The deck was very spacious with both covered and uncovered sections. The tempered glass around the bottom provided additional safety for our toy poodle and young grandchildren. The master bath had a soaking tub and shower that is typically not found in rental properties. All of the bedrooms were furnished with high end furniture, comfortable bedding and views that cant be beat. This home is well designed, beautifully decorated and offers what appear to be many one of a kind art and pottery items. Again, the view was simply spectacular!
