Trails End at Valle Crucis

Our family loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! It was a perfect combination of being close to it all without feeling close. We enjoyed the privacy and the location! Thank you!

Trail's End is a terrific, very well-stocked home with beautiful surroundings. Nine of us and a dog stayed here very comfortably. The hot tub worked well. The house was very clean. Sugar Mountain is close. We cooked a variety of foods and had everything we needed to accomplish all of it. My only recommendation for guests applies for travel to any home in the Western NC mountains: be sure to make your first trip in daylight. The crazy roads will be easier in the dark if you've seen the surroundings in light. The area is beautiful.

Lovely cabin with great views. The driveway was quite steep, but managed with gravel. Kitchen well stocked and directions were accurate. Pleasant stay.

The cabin and grounds were nicely kept and very clean. So peaceful with lots of wildlife. The cabin was really well stocked, which means a lot when you get ready to zone into your own world of no worries and relaxation. There is no doubt the owners took some time and thought to service their guest. It was just my beautiful bride and me for her birthday. Five star choice! We will definitely be back with friends!

We just loved Trails End cabin. The minute we walked in, the cabin felt like home. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and the deck was perfect for enjoying coffee or wine. Our kids loved the basement area and they especially loved the hot tub and firepit. We created wonderful memories at Trails End. We definitely needed AWD, but we loved gazing at the stars in the peaceful NC mountains. Little Bavaria was just stunning! We can't wait to return.

This home was perfect for our family weekend getaway. We celebrated our son's graduation from App State. Perfect size for 10 people. It was clean and had all the amenities of home. The fire pit and ho tub was a bonus. We were fortunate not to have snow because the house is located at the trains end which is a very steep gravel road. If you plan to go in the winter with a chance of snow you definitely need a 4 wheel drive (maybe chains too). We had an amazing time and you can see the peak of Grandfather mountain from the house. That's how "high" up the house is. We may be back!

We love the area and our unit (Trail's End). The unit had a great view, it was clean, and it was very roomy. We liked the open floorpan where the kitchen and family room are combined so our family was always together. The internet worked well too. Overall just a great unit and a great vacation. I have nothing negative to say!

The mountain home we stayed in was exactly as described. Serene location, great views, and immense amount of comforts. Close to Boone, gas for the grill, hot tub, wildlife, etc. A great long weekend for us.

The cabin was immaculate and there was so much room! We didn’t cook a lot this time, but the kitchen was well stocked. The view was beautiful and the kids had fun hanging out on the deck. The steep driveway was a bit daunting at first but our minivan made it up just fine and it was worth it to be at the top of the trail.

This house was amazing. Our entire family enjoyed every minute there. We had 2 families of 4 and there was plenty of room, with room for more! If you’re thinking about it just do it!

Our mountain weekend experience was a little piece of heaven! Trails in cabin provided comfort, beauty and tons of space. It was so clean and decorated so beautifully... Even with Christmas decorations! It felt like home away from home. Eight family members joined together from Massachusetts to Georgia. We will definitely return here for future getaways

Our rental experience was excellent. The weather was perfect and the leaves were at their peak for color. This was one of the best equipped rentals I have ever enjoyed, especially the kitchen. It was clean and well maintained and felt comfy like home. We did have lots of traffic on the roads, but it was peak season for tourists. We all give it a thumbs up and are interested in returning another time.

Nice getaway. GPS is helpful in getting from cabin to nearby towns. Everything in the cabin was in good working order. Visited Boone and Blowing Rock for nice lunches. We brought our own steaks, etc., and used the grill for dinners. TV has good channel selections. The towns require masks when indoors, which we both appreciated.

Absolutely everything about this home was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 children! The property is located at the end of the road, hence its name, which made it extra quiet. Our grandchildren enjoyed playing on the large porch, and we all enjoyed the hot tub. The home is well stocked with basically anything you need, especially the kitchen! We love this area and have visited for years now, but Trails End has made our love of Valle Crucis and the surrounding towns even more attractive!! The property is close enough to be convenient to several attractions, restaurants, and shopping, yet just far enough to be relaxing and peaceful! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!!

Trail's End was an amazing weekend get-away that didn't last long enough. The house was very clean, and have everything we needed for cooking and relaxing at the house. We went into town and honestly, we left and went back to the cabin after a few short hours because the cabin was so much more enjoyable than crowds. The view from one area on the porch is amazing! Grandfather Mountain is right there saying hello! I love everything about this cabin, we will rent again. Thank you so much for an amazing time at your cabin!

Our stay at Trails End was great! The cabin was clean and roomy and had a “homey” feel. We had a daily visitor below the front deck every morning which the kids enjoyed- a donkey! Loved fishing at the pond-hubby caught 12 fish but the rest of us weren’t so lucky. Cabin had everything you needed- comfy sofas and well stocked kitchen for cooking. We really enjoyed our stay!

The cabin was beautiful with lots of room for our party of 7. We cooked every meal here and pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen was stocked so well. We used the waffle maker and quesadilla maker and our granddaughters were so excited. We enjoyed the pond and took several winter walks. The most important thing for us: the cabin was CLEAN. We rent a lot of homes and this met our "white glove" criteria. Appliances fairly new, lots of blankets, pillows. Overall, this would be a "rent again" place for us.

I’ve been putting a Bro weekend together for four years. This was the first year we’ve stayed in Boone. Valle Crucis is a perfect location for the Boone experience. The cabin Trail’s End was awesome! I would stay in the area and in Trail’s End again.

Our 50th birthday mountain getaway at Trails End was absolutely incredible. From the beginning of the process working with amazing Amber to choose and book a cabin, to returning the key in the drop box, teary-eyed and sad because we had to leave was so wonderful. The cabin was clean, welcoming, spacious, filled with positive messaging, and all the things we could possibly need to enjoy the weekend! After lighting the fire the first night (plenty of wood available!) we decided that the drive "up the hill", as well as the mountain views from the deck, were breathtaking were the best attraction in Valle Crucis! We slept comfortably, felt safe, and totally felt like Trail's End could be a home away from home. This was our first visit to Valle Crucis and will most certainly not be our last. We've decided to make this an annual getaway and highly recommend the experience to anyone.

So much character in this cabin! The kids had a blast. We saw wildlife (turkeys, a donkey, possibly a wolf). It was clean and had all the amenities. Plenty of room. The location was superb! Last cabin in the woods.
