Description
Welcome to The Mountainbrier in beautiful Beech Mountain! This stunning 4-bedroom home is the perfect mountain retreat for your next getaway.
The main level of The Mountainbrier features a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a spacious great room with vaulted ceilings, a gas log fireplace, and a large screen TV for cozy nights in. The luxurious primary bedroom is conveniently located on the main level with a king bed and an ensuite bathroom complete with a jetted tub, double vanity, and custom shower. Also on the main level is an additional queen bedroom with a full bathroom in the hallway.
On the upper level, you'll find a queen bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom for added privacy. The lower level of the home includes a bunk room with two sets of twin over twin bunk beds, a full bathroom, an arcade table, another large screen TV, a pool table, and a card table for endless entertainment options.
Outside, enjoy the fresh mountain air on one of the two decks. You'll love to take a soak in the hot tub, grill up a delicious meal on the propane grill, gather around the gas fire table on the deck, or take a short walk down the stepts to cozy up around the fire pit for s'mores and stargazing.

-Wineries are always fun, and two close options would be the Banner Elk Winery or Grandfather Mountain Winery. (Both being family friendly)
-Beech Mountain Resort hosts mountain bike trails, lessons, disk golf & summer concerts in the summer. In the winter you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, the Beech Mountain Brewery, coffee shops, great restaurants, tubing, sledding as well as the Burton learn to ride center.
Additional Notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- The Mountainbrier is not pet friendly, thank you for not bringing pets to this home.
- Guests returning to The Mountainbrier can receive 10% off the base room rent for any future visit when booked over the phone.
- The town of Beech Mountain requires AWD/4WD and sometimes chains in times of incliment weather. Please plan for this possibility from November through March.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a Firestarter for $25 plus tax per night.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- This property has 2 cameras. Camera #1 is at the front of the home looking at the driveway. Camera#2 is on the side of the home with lower driveway pointed toward a small section of the fire pit and looks up the lower driveway.

Guests will receive a full refund for cancellation made 30+ days prior to arrival.

We would like to express our deep gratitude for the wonderful stay in this house. Our children had an incredible experience, immersed in the forest and listening to the sounds of nature. One of my daughters even commented: "Mom, it seems like the trees want to be silent", which really shows how important nature is to these teenagers. Making marshmallows with the children was unforgettable fun! The house was impeccably clean and well equipped, with everything we needed in the kitchen. This house is warm, inviting, big, and well decorated. We had 4 couples, and each had their own bedroom and bathroom. The house is fully equipped, and the downstairs game room is amazing! All of us agreed that we wished we could have stayed even one day longer! The rental management company was pleasant to deal with and very responsive. The house was amazing, it had all top of the line appliances that we would need for cooking. They were nice enough to put up a Christmas tree before we arrived. Loved the spacious, well appointed home with three levels of living area to spread out into. Large wrap around style deck and separate seating areas with gas fire-pit as well as wood fire fire pit a few steps from the house. easily accommodates 2-3 familes with two bedrooms on main floor, one on third and bunk beds in bedroom off game room in basement.
