Such a beautiful and special cabin in a scenic area. We enjoyed the very comfortable cabin, hot tub and easy access to the small river. Watching the wildlife, deer and ducks was enjoyable but the two snakes in the water - not so much. lol!!!

This is our second time within the past couple months staying at this location. We absolutely love this cabin and this area. Hot tub was nice, love the fenced in area and my dog loved to sit and watch the deer on the porch. The chairs for the riverside is awesome and I noticed there were new ones!! The house is a little dark especially by the stove but it doesn't deter us from coming to this location. 20 min from Boone and right down the road from Mast General Store. We were able to roast marshmallows at the burn pit. We also were able to go to Bear Wallow right down the road and get our Christmas tree!!! This was the first time we have come to the mountains to get our tree and it won't be our last! We are already planning for our next trip here!!! This was also our first thanksgiving away from home and we had a feast!! My kids love to sit by the fireplace and let me rock them
In the old chair. Doesn't sit good but they love it!! This time I discovered the heater in the master bath! Comfy beds, extra linen for the beds. This time it seemed like there were a few more towels than last time. I suggest getting a few more wash cloths. We will definitely be back to stay at this location!!

Wonderful location and excellent hosts. they communicated well and explained everything. property was exactly like the listing description. the property itself is wonderful, located right on the Watauga river, near many attractions and things to do. town is a short drive offering good restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. We fly fished every day and caught plenty of fish, nothing big but plenty of catch and releaser's. We loved our stay and would love to come back in the future

Place was perfect! Hoping to come back in the summer. Large lot, quiet neighborhood, we enjoyed the hot tub, the gas fireplace, the river view! Close to Boone, Blowing Rock, Sugar and Beech Mountain. It was a perfect getaway.

This property is quiet and with a big back yard overlooking a stream. It was great to bring our dog for our family get away. It was what we were looking for in terms of remoteness without any steep roads in the winter. It is a little remote and takes 20 minutes to get to groceries, attractions. BUT at the same time not too far to anything. There's a great little restaurant close by as well as a nice park with dog walking trails. We would book again if heading to that area.

Amazing location! Nice, flat yard on the river. Great for scenic walks around the neighborhood on the road. Had everything we needed and we appreciated there were more towels than other AirBnB's have had, especially with the hot tub!

We spent a week at Riverside Cabin and absolutely loved it! The cabin is centrally located with easy access to Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock! The Watauga River is literally in your backyard! We floated on our tubes and spent many hours enjoying the crystal clear water in this beautiful river!! The house is well appointed with every amenity you could possibly need! We grilled out and prepared meals in the kitchen with ease!
The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub on the deck overlooking the river! If you want privacy but still close to EVERYTHING, this is your cabin! We look forward to staying here again!

We had the BEST time. We stayed for Memorial weekend and even though the weather was cooler than expected it was wonderful!!! The scenery was gorgeous. The river was so pretty and we really enjoyed the hot tub. This was a very relaxing trip and we will definitely stay again. The WiFi worked great. Well stocked and clean. I can't say enough good things! Overall great experience. The pictures don't do it justice! We had a wonderful time on the river. The yard was amazing my family enjoyed playing soccer and our dog was in heaven. It was so relaxing to put my chair in the river and watch my kids enjoy. We will definitely be back soon.

This place is perfect. Loved the hot tub and the beautiful view. We will definitely visit again. Just a side note for some. Be prepared to climb many steps to enter the house. It was a bit of a challenge to keep our 3 year old away from them. And be sure to bring 2 child gates if you have small children. One for the entrance steps and one for the hot tub steps. Beautiful and peaceful place.

This cabin is prime location for all the ski mountains. The river provided nice background noise for hanging out in the hot tub. Very dog friendly setup, well fenced area for the dogs. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here and would rent it again.

Beautiful home, perfect location!
We spent a few days at this sweet river home and it was nothing short of perfect. Extremely peaceful and so beautiful. The house was very clean and up to date. It was cozy and perfect for our family of four. We spent a ton of time on the porch and in the hot tub. There wasn't a hammock or badminton net like the pictures had online, so the kids were a little disappointed, but really otherwise it couldn't have been better. We will stay there again!

Rental was great, was in a very idyllic location, fairly priced considering location and how big it was. Well described on website and good communication throughout. As prepared as I tried to be, setting everything by the door for our early morning departure, I left behind some souvenirs. BRMR called to confirm they were mine, and sent them to me at no cost. This is great customer service, something that is lacking these days....Thank you!

We went for the week with the purpose of spending a relaxing weekend fishing, hiking and enjoying Boone. The property was in a great location and had everything we needed. We especially liked the river steps from the home where we could fish in the mornings. The amenities were fabulous - hot tub, fire pit and working wi-fi! We will definitely return.

Riverside Cabin in Valle Crucis provided a wonderful get away for my family of 4. We spent most of our weekend in the river either in tubes or sitting in chairs enjoying the peace and quiet of the area. The hot tub and the fire pit were added bonuses. Check-in and check-out were easy and Blue Ridge Rentals provided all the information needed for our stay.

We absolutely loved the Rivers Edge cabin. It was right on the river and had beautiful views up into the valley. The local mountain scenery driving to this location was also gorgeous with the changing of the leaves. The cabin was clean and well appointed with everything we needed and much more. A Great bed!!! There’s a huge working fireplace that was a nice touch on the cold evenings. Bikes were provided, and even in the mountain setting, the road was nearly flat for several miles with very little traffic. A partially fenced yard was perfect for pets and we’ll surely bring our dogs next time. We would definitely come back to this house.

Nigel and Donna's river home is beautiful and peaceful. Our family tubed, fished, and sat in the hot tub at night after hiking during day. Grandfather Mountain is not far and is a must see. Boone Fork is a beautiful hike!!!!! We also played ping pong at the house. We also spent time sitting by the river and playing football and frisbee in the huge yard! If you get bored at this house, it is your own fault. They have tons of fun things to do!

I have absolutely no complaints about anything from ease of arrival, to amenities provided, to location...everything was just what we were looking for. We really enjoyed our stay at River's Edge. The house was clean, and the property and views were amazing. Perfect place for two couples. Unfortunately, the hot tub was only at 72° upon arrival, but warmed up to 94° by 9:30pm. The following day it hit 100°, which was fantastic after hitting the ski slopes. Prior to booking this house, I was unaware that the owners had it listed with a rental management company. What I enjoy most from our previous experience with Air B&B, is the personal level of communication, rather than dealing with two separate parties.

Awesome vacation cabin located 20 minutes from skiing and 15 to downtown Boone. The house itself is sits on a quiet creekside lot with restaurants and stores close by. It's perfect for anyone who wants to be in the mountains and feel secluded while at the same time being minutes away from anything they need. The hot tub was amazing with plenty of privacy. Overall the house is cozy, clean, and convenient. Looking forward to a second stay soon.

We were three couples staying in the house for New Years Eve weekend (total of 6 adults). We absolutely loved River's Edge! It was the perfect size - intimate feeling without being too crowded. Everything was very clean and neat when we arrived. The beds in the rooms were very comfortable and cozy. We skied two times that weekend - once at Beech Mountain and once at Sugar Mountain and the location was perfect to get to both mountains pretty easily (about 30-40 mins). Downtown Boone was about 25-30 mins away and downtown Banner Elk (with great restaurants) was about 30+ minutes away. We highly recommend Louisiana Purchase for dinner in Banner Elk. Our favorite things about the house: the large dining table for our homemade feasts every night, the Christmas tree, free wi-fi (a must), open concept living area, fire pit, grill, gas fireplace, hot tub and the feeling of privacy with the sounds of the river running. Keep in mind that it is a pretty remote area and some of the roads are windy and not paved, so I would suggest arriving during the day as the drive at night (if you're not familiar) is a bit precarious. Also we had decent weather with mild temperatures and not a lot of snow. I would imagine if there was more snow or ice roads you would have to be extra careful. Overall, a WONDERFUL experience and would love to stay at River's Edge during the warmer weather as well! Thank you!

This is the second time this year I've rented "rivers edge". The staff are excellent and so are the cabins! They are always happy to accommodate my crazy last minute schedule and everything is always pristine! I will be renting with them again and again!

Fantastic house. Very relaxing and the river is amazing. Excellent furnishing and mattresses. Children had a great time. We rode bikes down the road following the river for miles. I recommend this highly.

Very nice cabin & so well equipped. We actually are under contract on a house & just weren’t quite ready to close. At the last minute we decided to come up here anyway. This place is fantastic. Gave us a lot of good ideas for when we close on our house & put it on the rental market! Although, our new place won’t be on the river now that has spoiled us.
