Make Yosef At Home in your new favorite mountain getaway! This is a gracious and welcoming 4 bedroom home perfectly located between Boone and Banner Elk in Seven Devils just minutes away from Hawksnest Tubing.
The main level greets you with a spacious open great room with soaring vaulted ceilings. At one end is the kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and a large island. The dining table seats 8, with room for three more at the island. At the other end of the great room is the living area, with leather furniture arranged around a gas log fireplace with a large HDTV mounted over it.
To the left of the great room is one of the three bedrooms on this floor. This is the largest of the three, and features a King bed, TV, walkout access to the deck, an electric fireplace, and a private ensuite bathroom with a shower, soaking tub, double granite vanities, and a walkin closet with built in shelves.
There are two more King bedrooms to the right of the great room. The back bedroom has a King bed and TV and walkout deck access, and its bathroom is the nearby hall bath with a tub/shower and granite vanities. The front bedroom has a King bed and TV and an ensuite bathroom with a tiled shower.
The lower level of the home is a paradise for the young at heart! The den offers a huge L-shaped sectional couch in front of a wall-mounted TV, and there's also a shuffleboard table and a hightop table & 4 chairs. A full bath is off this room with a shower. The fourth bedroom is on the other side of the den, and offers two sets of twin bunk beds as well as two single twin beds each with a trundle - that's room for 8 to sleep comfortably. Fluffy beanbag chairs are here as well, the perfect spot to kick back and have fun!
The outdoor living spaces of this home are just as lovely as the inside. On the main level deck you'll find some wicker couches and chairs, along with a gas grill and a patio table. On the lower level deck is a 6-person hot tub. The in-ground firepit is easy to get to as well - just walk over from the upper deck.
This home is conveniently located 7 miles from Boone, 5 miles from Banner Elk, and 10 miles from Blowing Rock. Also just 1 mile from Hawksnest Resort, 15 minutes to Mast General Store, Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and 20 minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Tweetsie Railroad Theme Park, and Linville Falls. - All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
- Pet friendly! Max of two (2) mature, well-trained dogs only. Pet fee $25/nt per pet.
- The owners of this home use security cameras to monitor the exterior of their home to ensure it remains safe when unoccupied. No cameras are aimed at the bedrooms, doors, or windows. There is one camera on the back deck that overlooks the firepit and patio table and one by the front entry.
- This property is accessed by a gravel driveway with a moderate uphill incline. It is plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access the all properties in winter months. We are happy to help you find the home with the access you are most comfortable with, any time of year!
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am

We just recently spent 3 nights in Make Yosef at Home, and this cabin is just phenomenal! We had 5 adults, 2 teenagers and a 7 year old, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Everything was great - the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pans, dishes - anything you could need. The giant great room with the high ceilings and fire place was just so inviting and wonderful. Having 3 bedrooms, each with a king bed made sleeping comfortable for the couples. The bunk bed room downstairs was SO COOL and honestly - that is what my 7 year old was looking forward to the most! The outdoor area took the cake. The TV outside with the comfy furniture next to the electric fire pit was so great - we spent every night out there watching football and keeping warm. The large deck with the fenced in area for our dog allowed us to relax with peace of mind that he wouldn't get out. And the firepit was great for roasting marshmallows. Oh, and the Make Yosef at Home koozies that were waiting for us in the kitchen upon check in were awesome - such a nice touch that I have not seen anywhere else. This cabin was clean and just beautiful. We really enjoyed our time there and were ecstatic to find a place so close to Grandfather Mountain Vineyard, which is our favorite place to go while in town. We appreciate you sharing this beautiful home with us - we are already searching our calendars to find another time when we can visit. We loved our stay here! The house was in a great location and easy to find. It was perfect for our group of three families. We loved being able to throw the kids downstairs and let them have their own space! The rooms were also big enough to have kids sleep on the floor if needed. We take an extended vacation in the Boone/Banner Elk/Blowing Rock every year, so we've stayed in a wide variety of homes and condos. I have to say this house is my personal favorite of all of them. Everything about it was/is terrific. The location is IDEAL; it's in the middle of the entire area. The home is well laid out with comfortable bedrooms, living areas, and a quality kitchen The outdoor space was extremely well cared for and large enough for us to enjoy with our dog beyond the fenced-in area, even when I had to take her out at night. The decks enabled us to hang out and enjoy our morning coffee and late-night drinks. The in-home amenities ensured that there was never a dull moment, even if the rain lasted all day. The perfect home for our family to gather and celebrate our son’s graduation from the MBA program at App State. Convenient location and clean. We loved having the 3 main bedrooms on the main level. Eight adults gathered and we had lots of space to spread out an enjoy our time. Loved that there was a Christmas tree in the main room and lights on the deck … although the lights need to be replaced on the tree. We also had a golden doodle join us for the celebration - we loved having the small fenced in area. We have stayed at many cabins in the Boone area during our sons time at App State - this ranks as one of the top experiences. We definitely would stay again! My husband and I stayed here for a nice getaway. The house is BEAUTIFUL and HUGE! Great for multiple groups and families too! Awesome location - close to everything we wanted to do. It was the perfect location for our crowd of 6 adults and 7 kids. The kids had the downstairs while the adults had the upstairs. Everyone enjoyed themselves and slept comfortably. The extra blankets and pillows were a thoughtful touch. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces were just what we needed at the end of our busy days to Mystery Hill, Tweetsie and Grandfather Mountain. Stayed with 3 couples and 7 children. This house could not have been more perfect. The downstairs room is what cousin or little kids dreams are made of. The house was immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked. Every little detail was perfect. If you are looking for a quite get away for your family this is the perfect house for that. This is a beautiful cabin in Seven Devils. Our family of 14 enjoyed everything about it from its perfect location, great kitchen, comfortable beds and a downstairs kids retreat complete with 2 tvs and games galore to the exceptional back porch. Amazing house with everything we needed. Beautiful and convenient floor plan for entire family to spend time with a cool basement game room and bunk bed room. We especially loved the large patio with grill that had such easy access to the living and kitchen.
