The house was perfect, plenty of room, not far from Boone and quiet enough at night to feel like we were on our own. Everything was as advertised and we would love to come back. This place is big enough for two small families (6-8 people). Great price and deal for a getaway.

A great week of fly fishing was made even better by the lodge/cabin (Eagle Trace) we had to come back to every evening. Spacious with all the necessities we needed for that perfect stay, in a perfect location.

Took a trip with some friends for a fly fishing weekend. The cabin was an excellent place to stay and was very clean upon our arrival. The location was very quiet and peaceful, but still only a few minutes from Boone for restaurants and stores. We would definitely stay again if traveling to the area.

The trip was 8 of us on the trip and it was amazing. We used the hot tub, cooked on the bbq, and hung out in the yard. The location was perfect. Great memories were made that will last a lifetime.

We have stayed in this cabin for our vacation for a few years now and we have never been disappointed. The office staff are very nice and accommodating. The cabin seems to be well maintained for each visit. If you are looking for a place to relax and the comforts of home, there is no better place to be. As always thanks for another great vacation.

We stay in Valle Crusis multiple times a year in various cabins. This is our favorite! It is spacious, clean, and comfy. It has the best yard and view.

We always enjoy our stay at Eagle Trace. We're in our 60's so convenience means a lot. At Eagle Trace, everything we need most during an extended stay is all on the same floor. The driveway, hot tub, deck, MBR, Den, Kitchen and bath all on the the same floor. This is hard to find. And the view is awesome.

5 over 50 ladies had a fabulous weekend at Eagle Trace. Tons of space to be together or apart. Location was great and the view was spectacular. Kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Hot tub and firepit were lots of fun and the foosball table provided comedy gold! We will be back!

This cabin was one of the best vacation rentals for our family of 9. We loved sitting on the deck looking at the wonderful view this cabin offers. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit was a big hit. Loved the ground level entry and the wrap around decks. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal.Loved the large gas grill just off of the kitchen. The owners thought of everything to make an enjoyable stay at Eagles Trace. Will be back!

It was absolutely amazing. The cabin was beautiful. We loved it was decorated for Christmas. We saw deer while we were in the hot tub. That was great. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

This rental was perfect for our group. Three families with small and almost adult kids and the space was great for everyone. The setting was quiet and serene with several doe deer strolling thru the yard at dusk. We enjoyed the deck seating as well as the fire pit. The cabin is furnished to accommodate a large family and the kitchen has ample equipment for preparing meals for everyone. Just a short drive to Boone and Blowing Rock shopping and sightseeing felt ‘close’ to our ‘mountain lodge’. On our last day we drove over the Damascus VA and rode the VA Creeper Trail.

This is the second time we have stayed at Eagle Trace. We love the quietness surrounding this house. It is always super clean. Well appointed kitchen. The porch is our favorite spot. This time we stayed there was a deer family that spent every morning and every evening with us. It is close to Valle Crucis and the Community Park and Mast General Store and just a short drive back to Boone. We will definitely be staying here again.

My family and I enjoyed this lovely home. It had room for everyone who came. We loved being able to bring our four legged friend with us. The decoration and furniture is lovely and comfortable! This is our second rental with y’all and we will definitely be a repeat!

We had an unforgettable time at Eagle Trace. The cabin is beautiful and the views are amazing. Loved to spend time by the bon fire and porch area outside. We spend Christmas with our family here and couldn’t have chose a better place to stay, the kitchen is equipped with everything you can imagine. There is a bathroom in every floor which is very convenient for larger families. The cabin felt like home the moment we got there, so cozy, clean and warm. Also, we loved the fact that there was a Christmas tree up so we were able to place our kids gifts there to open on Christmas morning. We had the perfect getaway and have the most beautiful memories from Eagle Trace!

We LOVED this house. It was spotless, very well appointed, no need for anything but just a cup of coffee and the porch. The kids had a blast rolling down the hill and the fire pit being on rocks and having a nice walkway to it was great. No weeds or grass to wade through. I will definitely be staying here again!!! Close to Valle Crucis park and in the middle of all the action. We saw 4 rabbits playing in the front yard, several deer and groundhogs. You won't be disappointed!

Eagle Trace is such a beautiful cabin! Very roomy! The views are amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the wood burning fire place and the firepit outside. The swing on the front porch was one of my favorite spots! All of the staff was very kind and helpful! We look forward to going back for another visit!
