Description
Welcome to Deer Valley, a fabulously remodeled three bedroom, three bath home in beautiful Elk Park on 3 acres of land. All on one level, access is comfortable with two steps to enter. Step inside and enter the kitchen and dining area of this open layout. To the right is the well-appointed kitchen with large granite island, stainless steel appliances, standard coffee pot, and four counter seats. To the left is the dining table for eight. The focal point is the grey gas log fireplace with clean, modern lines. Above it hangs a large-screened smart TV. A leather sofa and four chairs gives seating to catch up and enjoy your friends or family. To the left of the living area is a 4-in-1 game table.
Off of the kitchen is the first bedroom, a king suite with smart TV and a private bath with a tiled shower glass door. The other wing of the home has two bedrooms, each also with a smart TV. One room has another King bed, and the third bedroom has a Queen bed plus a Twin over Queen Bunk. The bunkroom bathroom opens to both the bedroom and the hallway. Near the front entrance and kitchen is the third full bath, also a tiled shower with glass door, and laundry center.
On the deck is a gas grill and an expanded area to the new hot tub. The yard features a fire pit and private views of the wildlife.
- Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Guests returning to Deer Valley may receive a discount of 5%, not to be combined with other discounts to the room rent.
- There are 4 cameras on this property. 1 is on the front porch facing the porch and driveway. 2 is on the side of the house facing a field. And 3 is on the back porch overlooking the back yard. 4 is on the power/utility pole facing the driveway. No cameras point inside the house or toward the hot tub.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments. Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after their creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Please note that this property absolutely does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals with appropriate certification may be permitted, and the presence of a certified service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a certified service animal is a crime under North Carolina law. Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $500 extra cleaning fee to remove pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery.
If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee, and you will be evicted without refund of unused days.

This cabin has a great get-away location. It provides the opportunity to experience the great outdoors of NC. Plenty of activities and venues to visit within a comfortable radius. Waterfalls, hiking and numerous selections to eat well. The cabin has plenty of yard space for kids and a fire pit for the family to enjoy outside. The neighbor down the valley even extended his generosity with a dozen fresh eggs from his chicken coop; Southern folks for you. Inside you find everything you need from the kitchen to the bedrooms. Comfortable beds and things are neatly organized and accommodating. The one time I called the office for a quick question I had no problem reaching them despite being in a wooded area. There is no point in looking anywhere else for a cabin rental in this area, there isn't a place better. You can find everything you need in one spot.- Andrei, Posted: 04/25/2022
The house is beautiful and very clean. Location was a little tricky to get to on the first time in but if you follow the directions from the owner they get you there, no problem. We have really enjoyed our weeklong stay at Deer Valley. The house is new, modern and it is way spacious inside that your front photo might makes you believe. We enjoyed the suspended terrace, fire area and Jacuzzi, they made all the difference for our large group. The area is quiet, has gorgeous sunsets and offers lots of trails into the woods.
