Castle Rock is a distinctive, custom built home located in the Lodges at Eagles Nest, one of the most desirable communities in the North Carolina Mountains. This home is the perfect mountain setting for large family gatherings, birthday celebrations, holiday entertaining or groups of any kind. Castle Rock is one you will be returning to for all seasons!
Enter the great room to be greeted with an open floor plan between the living room, dining area and kitchen for all friends and family to gather. Beautiful hard wood floors, cathedral open-beam ceilings and huge windows that allow in an incredible amount of natural light creating a relaxed, rustic elegance that your group is sure to enjoy.
The living room boasts a massive stacked stone wood-burning fireplace with a 85” flat screen TV above it, a wet bar complete with an ice maker and wine cooler and cozy furniture to relax in. The extra-large kitchen is perfect for preparing meals together and features granite counter tops, and all Thermador appliances such as a 5-burner gas range, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and oven. There is a large dining table with enough room for 8 people plus 4 bar stools.
Castle Rock offers over 2,500 sq. feet of decking on both the upper and lower levels of the home offering westward facing, 180-degree views so you can watch the sunset each night! On the upper deck, you will find the perfect outdoor entertainment spot featuring a cooking area complete with a Fire Magic gas grill and burner and small fridge.
The master bedroom, located on the main level, features a king size bed, gas fireplace with a flat screen TV above, and a large bathroom with his and her sinks, a tiled shower with glass doors, and a soaking tub.
Through the laundry room you can access a mother in law suite above the garage with a king size sleeper sofa, gas fireplace, flat screen TV, a small kitchen area and its own deck to enjoy the beautiful views.
Downstairs there are 3 more bedrooms. Two with kings and one bunk room with a full and 2 twins, each with their own bathroom. Also downstairs is another living area with a 65” TV, gas fireplace and wet bar with another Keurig.
Castle Rock brings luxury to the mountains, while providing great amenities, wonderful upgraded furnishings, and a prime location… this home is sure to provide you an exceptional experience for your next vacation here in the High Country.

Additional Notes:
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- There is enough parking for 6 vehicles.
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATV's. For information about ATV rentals please visit: offroadadventuresnc.com
- The Owners' dog has stayed in this home, but it is not pet friendly for new reservations. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
-This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
-CANCELLATION POLICY: STRICT: Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. The views from every single window are stunning. It felt as though we were staying in a Swiss Chalet! Our entire family enjoyed the real fireplace on movie nights and snuggled into the plus seating. The twins LOVED the bunk beds, Lilly was thrilled to stay over the garage, London was so happy to have her own room and the grandparents loved the 2nd master suite downstairs. Delight! Amazing! Incredible! There are so many adjectives to describe this house. We went hiking on a trail and had so much fun. We also did this white water rafting and had a grand time. Castle Rock is perfectly named for this stunningly amazing home. The views are truly majestic and from beautiful sunrise, sunsets, snow and winds, we enjoyed every minute. Anderson Family, Wow! It's tough to find other words to describe Castle Rock! Every detail has been thought out. The landscape and house are beautiful. All of the women in our family kept gushing over how beautiful the granite in the kitchen is. So unique. It's such a comfortable home, we settled right in. We were told when making the reservation that the pictures did this home no justice; what an understatement! The views are like something out of a fairy tale, and the autumn colors were vibrant and captures the imagination of our hearts. Spent 4 fun, happy but very rainy days here. My daughters rehearsal party, dinners, and wedding activities were enjoyed on the covered deck and pretty living room... A mother bear and 3 cubs, hummingbirds, and a variety of colorful birds were sighted. Sadly we have to leave to return to Raleigh.
