A Slopeside Getaway

We just came home from a week long vacation with our family to Boone and Blowing Rock. Our stay at A Slopeside Getaway was incredible. We loved the home. It had everything we needed for the toddlers as well as the adults. The game room was so much fun, hot tub was great, the kitchen was one of the most well stocked we have stayed at. The beds were comfortable and Blue Ridge Mtn Rentals is so great. They replied to any of our questions or requests very quickly and even checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed the first day. The worst part.... we had to come home! Vacation is always too short, this home made us very comfortable.

We have stayed at Slopeside Getaway for several years and love it. The ease of getting to and from the ski slopes allows everyone in the family to go at their own pace. The house is perfect for relaxing and spending quality time for meals and playing games.

A beautiful area and home. It's a great spot for bigger groups. There's a spacious and stocked kitchen, many seating options on the porch with views, and a lovely gathering spot in the living room. We had a great time and loved exploring blowing rock!

Great location, very convenient to Boone and blowing rock! The master closet was huge and the crib in there was basically bother bedroom for our little one.

Property has plenty of space for comfortable sitting and dining. The pool table and video games were fun for the family. The location is great with easy access to blowing rock and Boone and Appalachian Ski Mountain. It was clean and has a fully stocked kitchen.

My group of friends was looking for a cozy place to spend an extended weekend in the mountains, and we found it! The kitchen is well stocked (they had enough spoons for many cups of tea). The home itself is charming and cozy. We would absolutely visit again!

This was a great space for a family gathering. Good sized family room for all to be together. Lots of entertainment options (pool table, video games, etc.) if the weather requires inside time. Easy to get to and lots of parking.

Our Blue Ridge stay was a dream home! From the expansive amenities to the comfortable beds, we could not have had a better choice in accommodations! Our kids loved the pool table and deck, while the adults enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. You will want to stay! We had the best vacation ever here! Thank you for sharing!

This cabin was just perfect for our family of 5! Plenty of space both indoors and out to enjoy and the convenience to literally everything was a huge plus! We spent days hiking all over the Blowing Rock/Boone area and even down to Linville Falls and over to TN and VA. The house had everything we needed as far as amenities and we all slept as sound as kittens in the beds. Blue Ridge was quick to help me get into the house when we arrived as well! We would love to return to Slopeside Getaway!

amazing stay for 3 families. we loved the snow on the mountain that came from appalachian ski mountain and had a snow ball fight upon arrival. close to tweets railroad, grandfather vineyards, and hawks nest snow tubing. 100% recommend!

My Family stayed here the week after Christmas. We arrived after a big snow what a nice surprise for this FL family. Literally right across the street was the ski lift and slope of the Appalachian Ski Resort . We enjoyed walking over and watching.

Perfect - loved this home! I booked this for an end of summer mini vacation for my extended family. The home was perfect in every way. Luxurious, lots of room, awesome porches, easy to access, great entertainment options for kids ... it was everything we hoped for and more. The pictures don't do it justice. I would definitely book this again and again.
