Thank You All at Blue Ridge Rentals; Had a great stay at Rivers roost, great place to stay very clean everything needed was there, could not ask for a better place to stay; Grandson had a ball fishing, Kayaking, all the games in the basement, roasting hot dogs by the fire beside the river was a Blast; It don't get much better than this; and it is so easy Dealing with the folks at Blue Ridge Rentals they make it so easy.......it had been a few years since I went thru Blue ridge rentals; same GREAT folks....WILL B Back Soon Thank U

House was well stocked in the kitchen.. very convenient to stores and river access in back yard! Weather was great and just everything was wonderful!! Will definitely go back.

We spent a long weekend at the cabin and had a lovely time unwinding and relaxing. Everything was very clean and tidy. We spent most of our time on the back porch listening to the river, it was wonderful!

River Roost was a great location for a family reunion. The New River is beautiful from the comfortable rocking chairs on the back deck. The driveway was large for our 3 cars and a truck!The house has a well equipped kitchen, nice coffee maker.

We live near the beach and wanted a different experience. So off to the Mountains! The river behind the house was the most perfect sound in the mornings and evenings. The stars were brighter than we have ever seen before as we sat around the fire out back. The 4 teens pretty much stayed in the basement playing games when we were not out snow tubing, mountain coastering or shopping all of the local shops. W.Jefferson was only a short 20 min drive, Boone was a 20 Min drive and all of the surrounding areas like Beech Mtn, Valle Crusis, Banner Elk were all easily accessible. There were no negatives to speak of. The house was well equipped, VERY clean and felt like home. Check is was EXTREMELY easy. And so was check out. The extra shelving in the upstairs bath was a life saver with 3 teen girls to all have a shelf for their things instead of piling it all on the counter. The outdoor furniture on the deck is high quality and very comfortable. And enough for everyone to sit and rock!!!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay here! The views were beautiful and the house was perfect! Check In was a breeze and we loved the game room and making smores by the fire pit. The area was so peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. They provide a binder with suggestions for places to go and things to do which was super helpful, especially for a large group. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

We had a great weekend at the property and brought our dogs with us. The front and back porch are gated so that made it super nice with the pets you could let them on the porch and didn't have to worry about them running off. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Easiest checkin ever! We had rain for most of our stay but there was plenty to do inside. My favorite was sitting in the glider rockers on the covered porch watching the water and wildlife. We will definitely return.

This was a great cabin. It was clean and stocked with all the cooking utensils needed. It was great sitting in the back yard listening to the river. The house was close to West Jefferson, Boone and Blowing Rock and plenty of outdoor activities. We will definitely stay here again. We have stayed at a couple different homes with Blue Ridge Rentals and will definitely book with them again. Our Bookings and stay are always easy and fun.

We visited this place with two families (4 kids ages 6-9) over a long winter weekend, and it was awesome! Highly recommend!! It was nice, clean, and the awesome downstairs game room produced hours of fun. Throw in the cool location (on a beautiful river, just a few minutes from Boone, skiing, etc.), and it's hard to beat! We hope to come back in the summer when we can put the kayaks to use too!

We enjoyed our stay, the house was perfect for a house full of boys! They fished, took over the basement, and enjoying the back yard! We were lucky enough to get snow, so they built forts and had snowball fights. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, overall the property is well cared for! We will be back!

This house was amazing! It had everything and more. We all enjoyed the place including my Australian Shepherd baby. From the bedrooms, to the game room in the basement. The whole experience was great. Waking up to that beautiful view and sound of the lake and being able to just sit outside on that deck was so peaceful. I will definitely be back and would love to experience other rentals BlueRidge has.

Everything about this place was so nice & family friendly, there was a grill, canoes, lots of games to play in the basement! Great host! It was so fun & clean! I will definitely be back for another trip!

The photos do not do this property justice. Everything was very clean, well appointed and stocked with everything we needed and more. Plenty of room for our group to spread out and gather when we wanted! River bank was a little steep and the fish were not biting but the house/property were perfect. You will find everything clearly labeled and stocked!

Kitchen is well stocked and many amenities. Be aware that this is slightly far from Ski Resorts and such (around 40+ minutes). However, lots of things to do indoors with friends and family.
