It was a beautiful home with something for everyone, including the kids. The deck provided everything from peaceful morning coffee breaks to lounging in the hot tub at night. Loved the rustic cabin look and feel!

Our stay at The Nest was so lovely! The kids fully enjoyed all the amenities at the cabin and the basement was fully loaded with fun activities for everyone to enjoy our time together! The rooms were clean, living room comfortable and another main hangout space for us all. The nice big table gave us ample space for eating and playing board games that were also at the house. Location-wise, this fit what we were looking for! A quieter location, but still fairly central to stores and restaurants and places to go/things to do. We are saving this place for our next trip to Seven Devils and look forward to experiencing it and the area around it in a different season next time!

Communication was top notch! Our cabin was beautiful, cozy, and extremely clean. They even had a closet full of toys for my kids to play with! I could not have asked for a better experience.

We couldn't have found a better location. We went to do a university tour and a little hiking. This house was set in a perfect location to do both. In addition, we were greeted by a family of deer each morning as well as hummingbirds on the porch. My teenage sons enjoyed the ping-pong table and hot tub thoroughly.

The view from the house is stunning. You will not be disappointed. The house was very spacious for two families to share for a weekend. We loved that the kitchen was so well organized. It was easy to find everything we needed for cooking. Note that the floors are creaky - we could hear every step from the bedroom above us. The rental agency was very easy to work with and good at communicating. Overall a very nice stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. Everything was very well equipped, and the communication with the host was excellent. We had beautiful, snowy weather, and the location to the ski slopes was ideal. We will definitely return.

We had a wonderful time at The Nest! We stayed during MLK weekend and were lucky enough to see snow fall! The house has everything you would want, plus more! The house was very clean, views were beautiful, close to Sugar Mtn, perfect hills on the property for sledding, large home but also has the cozy feel!

This was our first time vrbo-ing so we were unsure as to what might be provided. Staying in the winter with a large group there were many meals and treats planned but the Nest had us covered, even a high chair/booster seat! You really don't need to bring a thing except maybe some paper towels and tp in addition to your food, clothing, and toiletries. There were tons of children's books throughout the house as well as board games and puzzles. The game room was a huge hit with our family, as well as blankets in every room for cozy family time. There were lots of nice touches and the location was perfect for everything the area as to offer. We started planning next year before we left!

This cabin is perfect! We were greeted with plenty of small touches to start our trip off right. (a welcome bag of goodies, waters in the fridge) My husband and I graduated from App so wanted to bring both sets of our parents up for this weekend for Appalachian homecoming/our 18 month old's first trip to the High Country. The location was perfect, absolutely gorgeous views, and the cabin was well appointed. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals does an amazing job of managing the property and we're very responsive when a couple of questions came up. Thank you for a great weekend!

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin itself is picture perfect with its large windows, wood burning fireplace and beautiful view it was exactly what I had hoped for. The location itself was also perfect..close to Sugar Mountain if you want to do some skiing..but still tucked away enough for some privacy. Great hiking in the area too. I would definitely visit again:)

Wonderful new cabin rental in Seven Devils. Cabin was very convenient to Banner Elk, Boone, and Blowing Rock. Lots of great hiking within 30 minutes- recommend hikes on Grandfather Mountain (both state park and private portion). Cabin was well equipped with essentially all kitchen supplies you could need and basic spices/oil. Other properties close to cabin (not the most private I have stayed in), but could not see once inside with arrangement of windows. Would definitely stay there again if in area.

This home was the perfect mountain getaway and great views. The fire place was amazing and the deck and glass doors all around the living room made us want to stay at the house all day. We immediately went to book for another weekend but it was already booked!

We could not have been happier with our stay. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway! The cabin is extremely well stocked, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. The deck was perfect for enjoying early morning coffee, or late afternoon wine with a fantastic view of the mountains. The firepit was perfect for s'mores and staying warm on those cool fall evenings. Plenty of room for bringing the kids and pups. A short ride to Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, or the Blue Ridge Parkway for all of your adventures. Can't wait to book our next stay!
