Welcome to the HeartStone Lodge, a luxurious retreat located in the picturesque Vineyard Reserve. This stunning home offers a serene escape with mesmerizing sunset mountain views, all within a 2 minute drive from the Eagles Nest Winery, HeartStone Lodge showcases a beautiful open-concept living space that effortlessly merges the kitchen, dining area, and living room, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance.
The kitchen is a culinary enthusiast’s dream, featuring a gorgeous granite island with three barstools that provides ample counter space for meal preparation and serves as a centerpiece for social gatherings. Outfitted with modern appliances serving dishes, Dutch ovens, small appliances, all the elements for hosting a lovely meal It’s the perfect space for cooking and entertaining.
Next to the kitchen, the dining area is set with a table for six but up to eight, offering an ideal spot for sharing meals with family and friends. The open layout ensures you can engage with your loved ones while cooking and dining.
The living room is a warm and inviting space, complete with a gas fireplace that adds to the ambiance. Two sofas and a large flatscreen TV create a cozy seating area where you can relax, watch shows, or read. Whether you’re enjoying the fireplace, cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, or soaking in the natural light and fresh air on the deck, this open living area offers the perfect combination of comfort and practicality.
The main level greets you with a luxurious king ensuite, a true retreat of comfort and elegance complete with upgraded plush mattress and a private TV. The large closet keeps a pack N play with ease and outlets for all your child's needs. The ensuite bathroom features a modern, tiled shower, deep soaking tub, and a double marble vanity along with a defogging, back-lit mirror, blending sophistication with functionality with a picture window overlooking the views.
Descending to the lower level, you'll find three tastefully decorated bedrooms and the den/media space. The 1st king suite includes a TV, private bathroom with a tiled combination tub/shower and separate water closet. The 2nd king ensuite has a stunning bathroom that also opens to the hallway, making it accessible to guests of the den and the bunk room. Double vanities here and a private window that brings in the natural light. The bunk room offers two sets of twin over twin beds and Smart TV just down the hall from the wet bar and den with sofa, 75' TV with Sonos system that extends to the firepit and backyard, games, books and puzzles.
The deck is accessed from the living room and kitchen. Wrapped around the side is a covered area with seating at the outdoor gas fireplace. To complete the experience, the deck boasts a large hot tub, inviting you to relax and soak in the natural beauty that surrounds you, complete with Christmas tree views. Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
Additional Notes:
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into the home, as the homeowners have allergies.
- Firewood for the outdoor fire pit may be purchased with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax.
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATV's. For information about ATV rentals please visit: Off Road Adventures website.
- Guests are responsible for supplying all their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and a cash bar for food and drinks.
- 4WD required for winter months, and chains may also be necessary in times of snow or ice.
- All linens and towels provided.
- All Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee to maintain the luxurious amenities.
- Eagles Nest is an up-and-coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- Returning guests of HeartStone Lodge may receive a 10% discount, not to be stacked with other discounts to the rent.
- The owners of this home use 3 exterior security cameras to ensure their home remains safe. One is facing the driveway, one is on the back deck looking out towards the mountain (the grill and part of the deck are within its view) and the third is a trail cam at the edge of the backyard pointing away from the house.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

We've been staying in Banner Elk and surrounding area for over 20 years. Heartstone Lodge at Eagles Nest was one of the nicest cabins we've had the pleasure of renting. We spent the week roasting marshmallows by the fire pit every night, lounging in the hot tub, relaxing by the outdoor gas fireplace while enjoying a movie, and playing cards in the beautiful dining room. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The owners have went above and beyond to make this a magical getaway. The house was spectacular and there were too many amenities to mention them all. We did not even leave the house except to get groceries. The view was amazing and the area was so peaceful. Two of the TVs were not working when we arrived and Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals had someone out to fix them within hours. Someone returned the next day to fix the master bedroom tv as they had to reset the TV and contact the owners for the password. The maintenance guys were both very friendly and did a great job! Your home was lovely. We had three couples there, that travel all around the world and all agree your home was well appointed and beautiful. The small bonuses of charging ports by the bed, s'mores sticks for fire fit, frother for coffee, to-go cups and Tupperware.... (little things that mean so much) Beds were comfortable. WOW... Heartstone Lodge is by far the most amazing stay that we've had in the many years of renting homes in the Banner Elk area! The best way to describe the many attention to details and design is that it makes you feel like a Home -vs- a rental property. Heartstone Lodge is such a haven. The intentionality behind every detail makes this rental truly feel like home! The layout is a perfect mix of open space for groups to gather and plenty of private space too. During our stay, all ages enjoyed hanging out at the house equally as much as the many amenities around Eagles Nest. Your stay can be as relaxed or active as you want to make it. It's a quick trip from the house into quaint Banner Elk for great meal out, shopping, or to pick up groceries. I want to leave a review for HeartStone Lodge. My husband and I had pleasure of staying at this amazing brand new home back over Memorial Day holiday weekend. The house is roomy and the layout is comfortable for everyone. Plenty of room to cozy up and read a book or just enjoy a beautiful sunset from the back deck. After dark we enjoyed watching a movie from the hot tub. The owners have definitely thought of every little detail when designing and decorating this home. We also enjoyed a beautiful fire inside the living room when we got up in the cooler mornings. This home has everything you and your family could need. If you have children there is an amazing den downstairs for the kids to enjoy their own space to play games or watch TV. The neighborhood is wonderful and offers so many events for everyone. We enjoyed one of the live concerts outside and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful back drop for the sunset behind the stage. We took the grandkids to play putt putt, they played ball in the big field that has all the equipment you need to play just about every outdoor game. We loved our week at HeartStone Lodge! The owners clearly had an eye for the details that make a mountain home special. The kitchen is roomy and well-stocked, so that we were able to do quite a bit of cooking. Both indoor living areas, as well as the outdoor seating area, are comfortable and beautiful. This allowed us to spread out when we wanted to. The deck is amazing- an amazing view of the sunset over the mountain from comfy rocking chairs. Adults and kids all enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. What a special week we have had at Heartstone! The owners have created a beautiful house on this property with an amazing view of the sunsets. It is truly a refuge from busy lives. We took advantage of so many opportunities this area has - hiking, put put, a concert, climbing tower, zipline and the wonderful winery. We had a wonderful stay at HeartStone. The house is BEAUTIFUL, the weather was perfect, and family time is always a blessing. We enjoyed the Alpine Coaster, white water rafting, exploring Banner Elk and Boone, and activities in Eagles Nest including tennis and pickle ball. We had an amazing time celebrating the holiday at The Heartstone Lodge. The house was completely full with adults, kids, and love. The kitchen was our favorite spot.
