Located in Banner Elk at The Lodges at Eagle’s Nest, this majestic home is one of our best luxury rentals. From the time that you first view the timber framed portico to the time you walk out onto the back deck with its awesome 180 degree layered view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, you will be inspired by the beauty of this area and this home. Upon entering the great room with its 30 ft tall ceilings, and its superbly crafted woodwork and stone you have the feeling of your own exclusive English hunting lodge.
The two King Suites on the main floor would be hard to choose from as they both walk out onto the covered porch for morning coffee or evening fire. Both spacious master bathrooms have walk-in tiled showers with all the extras. The linens are the best, and one bedroom has its own fireplace as well as a twin bed and trundle bed.
For those who like to cook, you will have a difficult time getting past the kitchen with the granite countertops, hammered copper sinks, confection oven, wine coolers and every convenience. There's a third bedroom downstairs with a King bed, and a bathroom is shared on this level. The kids have their own space with two sets of twin bunk beds and large play area downstairs. Also available for children - join the family and play a game on the Wii, take a walk to the Great Camp, or playground with rope bridges, swings, and climbing walls just a short walk up the road. This beautiful Eagles Nest rental home is the place where luxury and beauty meet in perfect harmony.
Larger groups may enjoy renting this home along with Big Bear Lodge, Bear Creek, and Boulder Creek that are just down the road, or any of our other Eagles Nest properties.
Depending on the home, 4WD, chains or sometimes both may be required when visiting the mountains in winter. Access to this home may not be suitable for vehicles with rear wheel drive, limited ground clearance, or motorcycles even during summer months. We are happy to help you find the home with the access you are most comfortable with, any time of year!

- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATV's. For information about ATV rentals please visit: Off Road Adeventures website.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- All linens and towels are provided for your stay.
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You receive two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- Please note that the owners of this home use security cameras to monitor the exterior of their home to ensure it remains safe. No cameras are aimed at the bedrooms, doors, or windows.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.

Please note that this property absolutely does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals with appropriate certification may be permitted, and the presence of a certified service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a certified service animal is a crime under North Carolina law. Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $500 extra cleaning fee to remove pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery.
If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee, and you will be evicted without refund of unused days.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

We loved the cabin. The cabin was way up high on the mountain, which I personally loved, but if you're a little stressed about the ride up you might want to think about that, but the area was gorgeous ? it snowed the last two days we were there and it was breathtakingly beautiful! VERY nice community and gated for extra security! We LOVED the dollar general store! We visited hawksnest, sugar mountain and Elk River Falls! Loved it all! The kids loved all the games. The adults loved the huge hot tub with LED lights. Pool table wad a HUGE hit as well! All of the indoor fireplaces are on remote controls or switches. Our family celebrated Christmas at The Sanctuary. This was our second Christmas staying at an Airbnb in Banner Elk. Overall, this is a 5 star property that is even better in person than the listing photos. We had 2 adult couples and four children for the stay, everyone was very comfortable. Would highly recommend for future stays. * Location is very good. The gated community is very private, with nice amenities for the warmer months. A short drive to either Beech Mountain or Sugar Mountain. * Home is beautiful with an architecture that gives the true mountain feel. The owners clearly built this home for themselves with high end details and luxury furnishings. Don't let the pictures deceive you, its everything you'd expect except for some reason they have no pictures of the downstairs which is a great bonus for the house.
