Beautiful house with incredible views. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was extremely responsive, welcoming, and helpful. Our stay was amazing and we will definitely be rebooking that house and using BRM Rentals again.

Our family of 6 adults and 1 very busy 3yo had a wonderful time at the Mountain Camp. The pictures don't adequately show how much room there is inside and on the deck, where we spent most of the evenings. The house is comfortable and has everything we needed, and the location makes visiting Blowing Rock and the other towns in the area very easy. We hope to come back for another stay. I already miss that view!

We hosted our wedding reception here and it was perfect! We had a tent out front for dancing and the porch with the fire pit allowed for more relaxed conversation. The sunset views off the porch were unreal, and we were able to capture some really beautiful memories! Our caterer, Earthworks, made incredible food with the well stocked, open kitchen space! I would recommend this home to anyone! - (Please note this home allows weddings with prior written permission and an event fee - BRMR)

We had an absolutely magical weekend at Mountain Camp. The location was perfect, the views were unmatched and the amenities were just what we needed. Honestly, the pictures don't do the back porch justice - we spent the majority of our time around the fire table and in the hot tub enjoying the views and mountain air. The kitchen is well-appointed and the house was clean. We did have a little issue with the door code on arrival but the team at Blue Ridge responded promptly and helped us get in. I can't say enough great things about this place - really hope to come back and enjoy it again soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at mountain camp. The home was well thought out in the lay out and very well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked. Loved the outdoor fire pit and enjoyed the covered porch gas fire pit on the cool mornings drinking coffee. The hot tub, downstairs large screen tV with microphone (we searched up karaoke), and ping pong table we great entertainment for the cold wet weekend we had. Views were fantastic and before the rain we ventured through the hiking trails attached to the property. Loved that there was plenty of selection of books around to pick up if you forgot yours. Plenty of blankets to snuggle up. The property was completely private with no other house in sight!!! That is a first for us with a location that was so close to town. We will definitely stay again!

Mountain Camp is a beautiful home in the North Carolina mountains near Blowing Rock. It is beautifully constructed and maintained and so comfortable. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!! The views alone are to die for.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time at the house. The mountain range views, fire pit, wild life (saw deer and turkeys) and indoor activities all provided plenty of entertainment for 4 kids (6 months to 7) this week. Great stay!

Mountain Camp was nice before and now it is even better! Love the expansion that the owners have done. The deck, gas firepit, outdoor furniture including the full sized table are all great new features! Loved that all the bedrooms have adjoining bathrooms plus extra hall bathroom too! Hate our large group, that has been many times, missed out on seeing all the changes. Guess will will have to book again next year! We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay. It was a very relaxing weekend. Perfect chefs kitchen. Something very everyone, big screen TVs to watch March madness, pool table, hot tub, fire pit. The reading room was a perfect start for daily devotionals. The sunset views on the back porch were the perfect ending each day.

I walked into this beautiful cabin and could not believe my eyes. It was even MORE beautiful than the pictures! (That was a 1st for me). Mountain Camp is truly a gem! The cabin was clean and had be recently renovated to have added features (bigger back deck w/gas fire pit, big beautiful chairs surrounding the fire, & added sun rooms to both bedrooms in basement) not listed in the original posting. As a result, we were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay even more! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this cabin and my family and l plan on returning next summer! :)

We have stayed in many mountain cabins, and this was by far our favorite of all time!! The view is amazing. Location is perfect. Private, but close to everything! The home itself is beautiful, and decorated so lovely. Our teen kids and their friends stayed in the downstairs area which is perfect for teens/kids. The little trails on the property are also really cool to explore! We loved it here, and would definitely stay here again.

It was clean and well thought out for a large family including the fire pit that we enjoyed along with the roasted marshmallows.It was just a short drive to Blowing Rock and we loved the park for our little ones and the Blue Deer ice cream for everyone. We had an amazing vacation at this property. We had 2 family's with 4 adults & 5 teenagers. This house has the perfect set up the way it's laid out. The upstairs was where the adults stayed and then downstairs was the teenagers area... and ours too when the parents wanted to beat the kids at a game of pool! There were 2 bedrooms, full bath and loft downstairs with a entertainment room with pool table for the teens. Great area, so close to the cute town of Blowing Rock and a 30 min drive to Sugar Mountain where everyone has a blast snow skiing and then the hot tub was perfect for warming us up after a long day on the slopes. We will definitely be back to this property it was Perfect!

We planned this long weekend to enjoy time with our adult children. We were all blown away by this beautiful clean house! The kitchen is immaculate and stocked with everything you will need to fix meals with. If staying in the master bedroom be prepared for a comfortable bed with nice bedding and pillows. The master bath is beautiful you have to use the tub! Everyone else found their rooms just as nice and comfy. The view from the deck is spectacular using the hot tub is a must. No neighbors can be seen from the house and you only have a short drive to town. We hope to be able to come back next year! Thank you for sharing your home with us it was such a beautiful place! P.S. would love to know where the master bedroom pillows came from ?

This house is great. Very big with plenty of room. Perfect location (less than 5 minutes to Blowing Rock). Tremendous views of the mountains and ski sloops. The kitchen is very big and great to cook in. Blue Ridge Rentals were great to work with and we will be back for sure.

Our time at Mountain Camp exceeded all our expectations. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out while still feeling like we had a lot of family time. The kids enjoyed the downstairs, they didn't have to hear us & likewise, we couldn't hear them. The room off the kitchen was a favorite congregating spot and the views were outstanding. The kitchen was well stocked and a fabulous size to allow us to work together on meals. The only regret we had was having to leave...we miss Mountain Camp and the call of the mountains.

The Mountain Camp house and property were exactly as described and detailed in the pictures provided by VRBO, The 1st floor has a very nice layout with the adjacent living room, dining room and kitchen all having a great view of the mountain. The kitchen is well stocked with the required necessities for cooking, cleaning and entertaining. While we were at the house I spent most of my time on the back porch enjoying the view while my wife and niece enjoyed the hot tub. The 1st floor bedrooms are nicely situated and well laid out The master bedroom is very comfortable with a large walk in closet and a private luxury bath with two separate sinks, a shower with a seat and a private toilet room. The lower level enhanced the relaxation that we enjoyed with a large recreation room having a pool table and a a section for viewing television. Two lower level bedrooms and a hall bath were privately located away from the rec room area. The bedroom with the queen size bed is very nice with an outdoor window giving it the feel of not being buried in the basement of a house.

Lovely home with awesome views. The back porch is where it's at!! The hot tub was a bonus that made it even better! The location was so convenient to everything. With Blue ridge PW entrances in either direction from the house getting to the sights was a breeze. The house was nicely equipped and spacious such that three families had their own spaces. The decor was very nice and had surprising little touches like neat carvings of wildlife. The mantle was very special. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. The property provided hiking opportunities and the local deer herd was a treat to see near the house. The landscaping was very well done and parking was more than adequate. It was difficult to leave as our family all voiced repeatedly! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Everything is in good condition, kitchen is very well equipped. Property menager was on top of things and responded very fast. Only thing i didn't know was how to turn on the fireplace but handyman was there a 30 min later. We are visiting Blowing Rock for the last 5years and this was nicest place so far.

Everything was exactly as the Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals associate said it would be, unless better! This was the best stocked house/condo with kitchen pans, utensils, movies, games, etc we have ever rented. Everything was extremely clean (and we usually bring our own cleaning supplies just to be sure) upon arrival. Wonderful experience and will only use them in the future!

As usual BRMR is top notch! We've been using them for our rental needs for several years, sometimes several times in a year! We always stay in Mountain Camp and consider it our 2nd home, it's perfect for us in location, privacy and comfort. We had a wonderful experience, as usual, with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. The staff are wonderful and everything went just as smoothly as possible., from arranging and paying for the property to great directions and instructions about getting there and getting in. The property we rented was lovely and everything there worked perfectly. The highlight of our trip was seeing deer, wild turkeys and a black bear amble through the backyard. Could not ask for a better time.

My stay at Mountain Camp was extraordinary! It was my first time booking through Blue Ridge Rentals, and you all made it very easy. Pamela Moore was SPECTACULAR! Her warm personality and patience was very much appreciated, she made me feel really comfortable while booking, she was so helpful and friendly. Definitely a positive asset to your company! As far as the property, I fell in love with the home the moment I stepped foot into it, so beautiful! Everything was very well kept & clean, definitely the perfect getaway. There was a little problem with the heater jumping off and showing an error message, but the kink worked itself out and ended up coming back on. Other than that I have no complaints, Mountain Camp is absolutely gorgeous, the pictures dont even do it justice. Thank you Blue Ridge, you guys are amazing!

The McQueens came back to Mountain Camp and had another amazing stay. Last time we came in October and had a very cold weekend. This time we were here in September and even though it was cloudy, the temperatures were perfect! We spent our days hiking around the property and other trails, our mornings drinking coffee on the balcony, and our evenings sitting by the fire and in the hot tub. Your house is perfect for our growing family. This time we had 4 small boys running and playing in your house and they loved it! They are all sad to leave their cousins and our mountain house and cant wait to come back next year! Until next time!

Easiest Rental Company Ever! This is our 2nd time booking through BRMR and we are just as pleased as we were the 1st time. Casey is very prompt on returning emails and or responding to my many questions! The check in process is very efficient as well as checkout even when you arrive late or leave before dawn. The home we stayed in, (although we know the owners this would be true if we didnt) was clean, well kept and stocked with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Thank you for opening your lovely home for our girls weekend! This group comes to Blowing Rock every year, always staying in a new place. We are so charmed by Mountain Camp that we feel we need never look again! Were all hoping that this home is open for us next year. We loved the beautiful vista, the hot tub, the high ceilings, the spaciousness, the well equipped kitchen, how clean the house was, etc. We all agreed that this 7th year of Girls Weekend has been the best yet! We loved the great stash of movies too! We watched The Proposal on Friday night and laughed til we cried. The Saturday we watched How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Our family stayed at Mountain Camp in 2009 for our sons graduation from ASU. This year, we celebrated our youngest daughters graduation from Lees McRae College. We were all commenting on how, after 4 years, this house has not aged- Thank you for all the details to your guests.
