Laurel Creek Lodge

What a great place to get away from it all! House was very comfortable and well equipped. Perfect mix between being away from it all/off the grid and yet still close to downtown banner elk for any essentials or a meal out. Would definitely Recommend!

This is a wonderful property for families with children. My grandkids loved playing in the creek, hanging out in the hot tub, playing the games that were provided....that's just to name a few of the things they enjoyed. The management team was extremely quick in addressing any needs or concerns that we had during our stay. We loved every minute of our vacation.

The house was very nice and had everything we needed. It is a little far from town on windy roads but it was very peaceful. The pool table and arcade game got a lot of use by the family. We saw deer every morning by the creek. The neighborhood fishing pond only has Koi in it so no fishing is available without driving somewhere.

We so enjoyed staying here with our family of four for fall break. House is close to many family friendly adventures. We loved the creek and the neighborhood pond! GPS got us there just fine.

Beautifully appointed home with plenty of space and entertainment for all ages. Main level bedrooms are convenient for those with mobility issues. Amazing lower rec room with plenty of entertaining space. VERY conveniently located to the White Crow wedding venue.

What an amazing place to spend time with the family and friends away from technologies and reconnect with nature. The moment we arrived the kids were gone exploring the near by area, the creek and the trail were a bit difficult to get to but the kid had no issues. The house was cleaned, with enough towels and with plenty of kitchen must have! the beds were very comfortable. We loved finishing the day around the fire pit and cook some smore, make sure to bring fire starter!!! As I read before in other reviews, the driveway in front of the cabin is pretty steep but we backed in all the time and had no issues getting out of it! We loved to be away from the crowd and this cabin checked every box, make sure to get from the local grocery everything you need before heading home as it is pretty far away from the town. Overall I would love to go back, we had a wonderful time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home. Everything was perfect! Well equipped, plenty of room, and great deck and yard! The creek and trail in the back was a nice bonus. Very cozy with enough room for everyone to spread out. Will definitely be back! Thank you for allowing our family to stay at your home.

We had a wonderful time at this cabin for a New Year Holiday family vacation, it is very well maintained cabin with very good appliances. Bedrooms, living rooms and bathrooms are very nice. Definitely highly recommended for a family trip. We were very lucky to get snow at the time of our trip, the kids love it and play for 2 days with it :) A + !

Rented the cabin for the weekend for my girlfriends birthday and invited a couple friends as well. We had a great time! Our favorite thing about the place was definitely the hot tub but the beds were also great. Got some of the best sleep of my life in the master bed, the sheets and pillows were super comfortable.

We had a wonderful time not only at the cabin but in town at banner elk and the drive was beautiful. The property was so clean and there are lots of outdoor activities to do if you have children! The trails, creek and fire pits were very exciting for them!

Property was super clean, well appointed, and nestled in a beautiful spot on the mountain. The home is about 15min from town, but the drive is very easy. Check in was simple, and the Blue Ridge staff were friendly, helpful and wonderful. Definitely recommend the rental agency (we've used them previously) and the property.

Our family absolutely loved the home and the property. The home was super clean, well-stocked and there was plenty of room for our family of 6. The beds were comfortable and the view was pretty. The home was in a great location and my children loved exploring the property, trail and creek behind the home (and the video game table in the loft!). The house was everything we could've hoped for and more and we look forward to staying at this home again!

Great stay! Well-appointed! Great appliances, comfortable beds. Very clean! Just a charming, lovely place. It is brand new! Located near the top of a mountain with lots of turns on the roads. Recommendation...try to avoid arriving after dark if you don't know the roads. Once you drive it once during daylight, it is a much easier drive up the mountain. Kids' rooms were perfect (1 room with 2 twins on one side of the loft area and another room on the other side of the loft with two twins). The kids loved the old school arcade game with PacMan and Galaga in the loft. Wonderful Master Suite with King on the main level and an extremely comfortable Queen in the other bedroom. The basement is lovely with a pool table, bar, and big screen TV. Great place for kids to escape. Would definitely book again when in Banner Elk.

We stayed at Laurel Creek Lodge and found it absolutely fabulous. It was the total mountain experience we were looking for. The location is very pastoral & private and the setting is gorgeous. The house itself is fabulous. Looks to be brand new and was furnished with everything our family of 8 needed. The beds were very comfortable and all the linens and towels were first class. The three levels made it perfect for three generations. The kids loved the Pac-Man video game in the loft but spent most of their time downstairs playing pool and hanging out playing other games in the large rec room. The kitchen was well outfitted with every cooking tool we needed. While we were there, there was a big snow storm so we loved hiking the trails around the property. We truly felt like we were in a winter wonder land. And we are already planning a return visit.
