We loved our stay at this cabin. The location was wonderful since we wanted something convenient to Boone. It was extremely quiet, relaxing and had a nice view from the back deck. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed during our stay. The cabin is in a beautiful small gated community.

This is the perfect place for a family, couple, friends, or solo trip to the mountains. Minutes from anywhere you'd want to explore. We will be staying here for all of our annual Boone trips. Cozy Bear cabin is a wonderful place to stay! Great location in between Boone and West Jefferson as it's about halfway between the two, which makes it ideal to venture out to both easily. If you're into golfing, definitely check out Mountain Aire golf course as it's about 25 mins away. You really get that mountain feel with a very nice view. The cabin is comfortable and nicely furnished. Ideal for a couple families with kids as there are two separate master bedrooms, and two sets of large bunk beds in the basement. With two additional comfortable futons, you could add more guests if needed. Pool table, air hockey and fire pit were great amenities to have once the sun goes down. The only thing missing from this location is a hot tub from the walkout basement. We've used Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals several times now, and they always do an exceptional job communicating helpful info before, during and after your stay. They really have the rental process dialed in.

We had a wonderful stay at the cozy bear cabin. We were a short drive from cafes, shops, restaurants, outdoor activities, museums, you name it! A great place to unwind and relax even if you don't want to leave the cabin or neighborhood (lovely walk down to the river and bridge in the neighborhood). It was extremely quiet and clean. My entire family loved the stay — we didn't want to leave — and will certainly be back again. Thank you!!

Cozy Bear Cabin was exactly what me and my family were looking for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved that it was close to downtown Boone. We had everything we needed and plenty of room for us all. I was amazed at how much the kitchen had as far as dishes, pots, pans, coffee cups, glasses and cups. We prepared all our meals there, so it was nice having all that we needed. I would recommend this cabin 1000%.

We had a great time in Boone/blowing rock! This house was in the perfect location. The kids loved the air hockey and bunks, plenty of space for us all to spread out. Beautiful views while drinking coffee on the balcony!

Two friends and I spent a long weekend at this beautifully appointed cabin. A highlight was the view through panoramic windows overlooking the Blue Ridge — visibility for miles! Comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a fireplace set in native stone: what more could you want for an autumn visit during peak fall colors!?

The Cozy Bear Cabin met and exceeded our expectations for a mountain getaway with our family of 6 plus my parents. It was great being a bit out of town with a beautiful view and peaceful mountain sounds. The basement bunk room and game room was perfect for keeping the kids happy! They loved the air hockey, board games, and kids DVDs. Just use caution with toddlers on the stairs since they are pretty steep. The house was impeccably clean and all-around comfortable and cozy, true to its name. Plenty of cookware, dishes, etc to make meals. It was a relatively quick drive into Boone, Blowing Rock, parts of the Blue Ridge Parkway, etc. and we enjoyed exploring but also resting up at the cabin. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

A perfect setting to enjoy a retreat into nature’s stillness with family. Our son (2), explored nearby trails and uncovered rocks and other treasures at the river’s edge. The cabin’s basement, well appointed with games and comfortably furnished, offered indoor fun when rain kept us in — we’ll be returning annually. What a cozy gem!

We so enjoyed our stay at Cozy Bear Cabin. The view from the porch never gets old! We loved coming back to the cabin after our hiking adventures to cook dinner in the beautiful kitchen, playing games around the table and relaxing on the porch as the sun set. Everyone got wonderful sleep in the cozy setting to set us off again for a new adventure the next day. We plan to return as often as we can!

This house was well appointed and clean. The views were spectacular. The decor and interior design were so appropriate to give you the cozy cabin feel. There was more than enough room for my family of 5. We will definitely be back for another stay. When we arrived we had issues with the key lockpad however; the property manager responded very quickly and resolved the issue immediately. The customer service was top notch!.

My family has stayed in several VRBO properties over the years and this cabin is close to perfect! It by far has the best view, super easy access, close to town but far enough away and is super clean! We plan on booking again for a summer trip!!

The cabin was just as beautiful as the pictures. All of the linens were perfectly clean as well as all of the kitchen appliances. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful and the amenities provided at the cabin made for a great time spent with family. All of the instructions were super clear and we loved the stay!

The women in my family get away once a year. This year we decided on the High Country for holiday shopping. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed staying at the Cozy Bear Cabin. It had everything we needed, and plenty of room for everyone. The house was spotless, and easy to find. We would definitely stay again.
