A Parkway Cabin

Location is great for accessing Boone, Blowing Rock, and the parkway. It is an older cabin and not “fancy” but comfortable w/ modern conveniences. The cabin was very clean. The bed was great and the hot tub seemed better than most rental cabin hot tubs. The property around the cabin is relaxing…

We came to help an App State junior and senior move into their new apartment. Convenient location. Great house. I think the two biggest hits of the long weekend was the hot tub and our four-legged daily visitor June

This was a great place to stay for our daughter's graduation. It was roomy and the beds were comfortable. We all loved the swing and the firepit! It was bit tucked away but worth it and we just stocked up on food and hung out with family. The kitchen was well-equipped and the whole house had a ton of light. We enjoyed our weekend.

There were no issues renting this property. When the propane ran out on the gas grill a maintenance person was there within 30 minutes to replace it

This was a great stay for us. It's very close to Boone and about 30 minutes from Sugar Mtn. App Mountain is even closer. The house was very clean. The hot tub was a great treat for us. So was the grill. The neighbors and the neighbor's cute dog were also very friendly. We will come back.

The Parkway Cabin is a wonderful place to stay in Blowing Rock NC. It's peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. Has all the amenities a person could need. You will feel at home. The property is beautiful! We had a great time using the fire pit and hot tub. The cabin is clean and very comfortable.

We LOVED this cabin. It was the best location we've ever rented and we've been renting for about 10+ years! The cabin really has 3 bedrooms - all spacious and well equipped. We have been staying in the area for 40+ years and this was wonderful. It was just what we were hoping to find. Everything worked and was more than acceptable to all of us. The view from the deck was beautiful - - cool, green and shady most of the day. I ate breakfast outside most mornings. The owners live close by and were very helpful with lots of information about the area. It's not fancy, but we're campers and it was just exactly what we wanted. Good wifi, good cell reception, good TV set up for all those modern things we all "need" to get along today. Great Spa off the deck, Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, well appointed kitchen, great laundry room, air conditioning that kept the inside cool and dry. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again next year. Thanks for everything! Your hospitality was amazing!

The house was beautiful and we had a great weekend. The hot tub was especially nice. We briefly spoke to the owner and he was really friendly as well. The parking was a little cramped but other than that everything was wonderful. I would stay here again.

What a perfect place to spend our long, holiday weekend! The cabin is so cozy and the owners, who live nearby, are wonderful! We had planned to eat out each night, but ended up cooking hot dogs and smores at the fire pit one night (which our teenagers LOVED)!! The cabin is convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, so it took us no time to get where we wanted to go. I highly recommend A Parkway Cabin, and as always, Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals will be our first choice when it's time to come back!

The cabin is in a quiet and restful location convenient to Blowing Rock and Boone. It perfectly fit our objective for the weekend--relaxation. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, internet access, and gas grill while there. The property owners live a very short distance away but we only saw them once the entire weekend. The upstairs bath/shower is very small but was manageable for us. The downstairs bath is larger. The view from the cabin is not overly exciting but is still nice. The cabin's location gives a nice feeling of seclusion but is actually near other homes. I have used BRMR on two occasions and have been pleased with the experience both times. I would stay at A Parkway cabin again in the future.

My wife and I, our 7 year old daughter and 3 year old son truly enjoyed our stay at A Parkway Cabin. The location was terrific because downtown Boone was only about 5-10 minutes away as well as downtown Blowing Rock. We also traveled to the Appalachian Ski Slope (10 minutes), Sugar Mountain (35 minutes), Banner Elk and Beech Mountain (45 minutes). This was perfect for us because of the convenience for shopping and nearby restaurants. The house was exactly as pictured on Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals and was perfect for a family getaway. Although it did not snow a lot while we were there, the kids were still able to go sledding one morning right outside the house on the most perfect sledding hill. I was also able to take my kids hiking through the woods around the yard which they loved. We did have the opportunity to meet the owners of this house and they were very gracious, caring and respectful. We were looking for a family house that was safe outside (no cliffs) and was convenient to shopping and restaurants, sledding and sightseeing, but also had all the goodies of being home. This house fit the bill perfect without breaking the bank. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it with confidence.
