Your fully equipped kitchen (even a Log Cabin recipe cookbook!) makes whipping up meals easy, or wander down to one of the many tantalizing restaurants in nearby Blowing Rock & Boone.
Exhausted from a day of adventure hiking the mountain trails, white-water rafting down the river, skiing the slopes, or shopping the boutiques? Snuggle into 100% soft-brushed cotton flannel sheets (or in summer, 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets) and adjust your King Size Select Comfort mattress in your Master Suite with the flip of a switch to feel right at home. Your carefully appointed room will reflect the heart of mountain lore, lulling you to a peaceful and restorative sleep.

CABIN FEATURES: Living room with 70" LCD Smart HDTV with Roku and surround sound, 200+ DVD library, Stone Wood-burning fireplace. On this level: fully equipped upgraded kitchen, dining area, bedroom with stunning hand made Log bunk bed twin over queen size with new, orthopedic mattresses, full bathroom.
Upper level: loft with twin bed and a bedroom with beautifully hand crafted Log bed with inlaid mountain designs, Queen size, orthopedic spring mattress, and half bathroom.
Downstairs, a huge master suite with King Size select comfort mattress, TV with Roku, stone wood-burning fireplace, sitting area, full bath, coffee bar with mini-fridge, a newly installed pool table, laundry, double-door access to lower covered deck with hot tub, sitting area, and privacy screen, large storage closets.

- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
- PET FEE: $25 PER NIGHT PER PET. WITH A MAXIMUM OF 2 PETS. Mature, well-trained pets only, please. Dogs and cats welcome!
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay at A Mountain Hideaway. It was a very comfortable house with plenty of room for our family. Lots of amenities including a well-equipped kitchen which made the cooking easier. Easy to get to and close to Blowing Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway and Grandfather Mountain area. Blue Ridge Rentals provided great instructions for check-in and check-out as well as great communication during our stay. I felt I could call if any issue would arise (which it didn't). My wife and I stayed in a Mountain Hideway and it was absolutely beautiful! There is so much room for a family or friends to stay. We felt so comfortable and liked staying in just to enjoy the cabin. When we got the house was very clean...they even text and said we could check in early since the house was ready. The view from the upstairs deck was breathtaking! Staying there was very relaxing and peaceful...but we had so much we could do there. We made sure to check out the hot tub after grilling. The cabin was perfect-clean and organized the lay out was good. Hot tub and bbq grill worked great - the location was perfect close to several lakes and hiking trails 5-10 minutes away and 1/2 mile from Blue Ridge parkway. The quiet neighborhood was so peaceful and had a nice 1/2 mile circle to walk the dog around the neighborhood. The house was super clean and easily accessible. I loved the private little neighborhood it's in and right off the blue ridge parkway. It was a perfect area to walk the dog and cute scenery. Family of 5 (3 adults/2 kids) had a FANTASTIC time for a birthday vacation. The neighborhood is a perfect 1/2 mile loop for walking the dog. The hot tub was clean and operational. We had a snowfall of 8" during our stay, and the cabin was the perfect place to experience it. Weber grill was clean and had a full tank. My family and I stayed here (with our dog) and loved every minute! The communication was excellent, the cabin was very clean and we could tell had been sanitized properly. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable for our group. Our favorite part about our stay here was the hot tub! We discovered Blue Ridge Mountian Rentals as we were looking for a safe place from hurricane Florence. We could not be more pleased with the service we received! A Mountian Hideaway was BEAUTIFUL, super clean, close to Blowing Rock, all the amenities we could ask for (hot tub!!) and the kitchen was FULLY stocked. This Home allows pets but it is impossible to tell a pet was ever in there is it so clean. The beds are comfortable, the linens are great and the living space is huge. What a great location and cabin! All the comforts of home with the bonus of a wide variety of cooking pans and dishes. Greatly appreciated the weber gas grill. The neighborhood is quiet, and the porches are inviting. The bed slept well. A huge thank you for making this property dog friendly.
