The main level has an open kitchen, living room, and dining area with cathedral ceilings and beautiful mountain views through the wall of windows. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of space and newly upgraded stainless steel appliances. Coffee lovers will enjoy being able to use either the classic drip-style maker or the Keurig machine! The dining area boasts views from all seats. The living room features very comfortable furniture arranged around a gas-log stone fireplace with a 40-Inch HDTV and DVD player and Home Theater Surround Sound. There is also a half bath off the kitchen.
A master suite is on the main level, featuring a King bed as well as a private bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub with tiled shower. Step out onto the spacious wrap-around deck furnished with a dining table and Adirondacks and enjoy the awe-inspiring mountain views. A gas grill is positioned just off the deck.
The lower level contains a second living area with 42-Inch Flat Panel cable TV, a deck with a wonderful hot tub and great views, a bedroom with a King bed and separate entrance to the deck, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a shared full bathroom with a jacuzzi tub with tiled shower between the bedrooms.

Then I married my husband and spent fifteen years in the plains of the mid-west. It’s been such a mercy to come home to the mountains, this time in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. When we found this property it was hemmed in by trees. No one quite knew what view of the mountains lay hidden behind.
Being such mountain lovers ourselves, we take great pleasure in offering you a 180 degree view of the Blue Ridge. On a clear day you can count 13 ridges, clear up the New River Valley. As the sun sets, you can watch the light play off these beautiful, ancient mountains--a view that can take your breath away. You can see the skiers come down Appalachian Ski Mountain out the dining room window in the winter. The name, 1 Amazing View, truly fits this home. After you’ve enjoyed all that Blowing Rock has to offer, 1 Amazing View is a home where you can sit on the porch and drink in scenery that restores the soul.

All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

We had an amazing time at 1 Amazing View! It started off with great communication and easy booking process. When we arrived, we found the home with no problem, even though it was snowing. Our all wheel drive vehicle navigated the mountain roads and unplowed lane and driveway just fine. The home was super clean!!! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need, (even funnels!) We loved the gas fireplace and the wall of windows to the open mountain views was stunning. The beds were comfy and we had plenty of room to spread out. The teens liked having their "own space" downstairs with their own family room and bedrooms. My family had 1 amazing stay at “1 Amazing View” over the Thanksgiving holiday! As advertised, the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains was spectacular from the living room and both decks. The cabin layout was perfect, as it allowed space for my husband and me to have a beautiful bedroom suite upstairs, while my daughter and her friend each had a bedroom and separate living room area downstairs. They loved the foosball table and hot tub! Upstairs, the gas log fireplace and large smart tv made for a very cozy, extremely relaxing environment to watch our favorite football matchups! The location is outstanding! 10-15 minutes from downtown Blowing Rock. We went into town several times for dinner and shopping. Although the weather was terrible, we had a wonderful time! The house felt like home. Very good location between Blowing Rock and Boone. Took the grands to ride the Tweetsie Christmas Train. Big hit! We have used Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals for probably 15 years and have always had a good experience. If there's any problem, they are there in a flash with a solution. This cabin was well appointed. It had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay for our family of four. The beds and linens were comfortable and the view! The view was amazing! We could see skiers coming down the slope from the kitchen and the wrap around deck. The views of the beautiful mountains and the tiny lights from far away houses dotting the mountains at night, were the icing on the cake. The hot tub was so nice on a cold winter evening. This home was perfect for our family's needs. We felt very comfortable and the house had everything we needed to make the perfect mini vacation. My parents enjoyed watching our daughter play in the snow and we spent some time trying to identify the different animal tracks in the snow that were placed overnight. This was a great house with an excellent view of the slopes. It's conveniently located to Appalachian Ski Mountain. The owners are very forthcoming about this, but snow chains and/or four-wheel drive is a must in the months that wintry weather has or is expected to occur.- Shawn, Posted: 01/06/2021

We have rented through Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals for over 12 years. We like having room to sit around and chat and relax that hotels don't offer. We don't cook but kitchen are always well equipped. Always have had very positive experiences. Everyone is so helpful and interested in whatever your needs may be. They are right on it! I highly recommend them if you're shopping for accommodations. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful location. The home is well maintained, and the rental company well organized. The home is comfortable with outstanding view and everything one needs to escape daily life. We rented from BRMR and the cabin we rented was great. I did the rental and my family was skeptical, until we got there. BRMR made me look like a hero !! We thoroughly enjoyed being up in the mountains and actually on our drives to and from saw Deer, a small bear and a Turkey with babies.We were close enough to Blowing Rock and Boone, but far enough away. We really enjoyed our stay at Amazing View! It was very affordable for me, my Mom, and my 2 sisters. The house itself is really cool! I am an artist and find inspiration from just about everything; amazing view colors, the antique furniture; the warm wood grains of the hardwood floors, not to mention the views! I could go on- but I wanted to let you know for the record, we 3 girls went horseback riding and if we hadn't used the hot tub we would have suffered some serious pain! So YAY! We had such a nice time with our 88 year old mother. We want to come back to the mountains and stay at Amazing View again. We're trying to figure out the time for 2016.
