We absolutely loved this cabin! Great amount of space for everyone (we had 3 adults and 5 teenagers). Everyone had their own bed, the kids loved the pool table and we all loved the fireplace and views from every window. There were extra blankets in every room, warm bedding on all the beds (which were very comfortable). The kitchen had everything we needed, both a Keurig and a coffee pot for lots of coffee or single cup use, great selection of pots and pans, plenty of dishes and silverware, there's even a crock pot in the closet in the bathroom. If you're planning who to sleep where (during winter months) the upstairs is warmest (heat from the fireplace rises and it's about 10 degrees warmer upstairs), main level is comfortable and downstairs (the bunk beds by the pool table) was the coldest level (probably 10 degrees cooler than the main level). It was perfect for our teenage boys who loved the colder room and the teenage girls all slept upstairs in the loft where it was warmest. Those who like it cooler when they sleep should be on the main level. It worked out perfectly for everyone in our group! Tip: if you're planning to ski during the holiday season, get there no later than 8am or you'll be stuck in lines all day. Don't even bother trying to tube on Sugar Mountain, we waited hours for tickets and they sold out every session in about 15 minutes. Go online in advance of your trip and reserve tubing tickets at Hawks Nest or Beech Mountain instead.

This cabin was the perfect place for our family. The cabin had every amenity we needed and everyone in our group ranging in age from 19 to 81 found something to enjoy. We enjoyed the porch views, the hot tub, the pool table, and the quiet evenings. The property manager responded quickly to address one minor problem we encountered after hours. We would love to return again to the Mountain Laurel Lodge in the future.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and decorated so charmingly for Christmas. It was the perfect place for our family to gather together to enjoy a belated holiday together. The cabin hosted all nine adults with plenty of room and activities. I would highly recommend staying here. We had a marvelous time.

Mountain Laurel lodge was amazing!! We had 9 woman staying in this cabin and never felt cramped. The wrap around porch was to die for.

We had a great stay, enjoyed every minute. We particularly liked the cleanliness, full-equipped kitchen, hot-tub, fireplace, rocking chairs and billard table. Happy teenagers & happy adults! Plenty of room for everyone. Easy getaway to Boone and Blueridge Mountain Parkway as well as Watauga River. Well thought touches all over the beautiful home, best mountain-stay experience!

The cabin is very up to date and was very clean. It was roomy enough to spread out and had good gathering space to eat together and play games. The property and surrounding area is beautiful and well worth a visit. Read everything they send you and DO NOT come in from Moore Mount Road.

This place was perfect for our recent long weekend stay. The cabin was just like the pictures, even bigger than expected. More than enough room for our family of 6 and friends who came over for dinner and to enjoy the pool table in the basement. We loved the hot tub, kids included, the beautiful views, the kitchen accommodations, the comfy beds, the space, and the location to downtown Boone, hawksnest snow tubing, grandfather winery, and wilderness mountain coaster. We would 100% stay again, perhaps with more of us since it sleeps 10! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Property was very clean upon arriving. The location is close to everything but far enough away to be private. We stayed in the home with our 3 teenage children and another family of two adults and two teenage children. There was room enough for everyone and even some space left. The hot tub, fire pit, and pool table were great and well used. The loft area upstairs served as the perfect place for morning yoga. The window seat made for the a comfy place to escape if needed. We would definitely stay here again.

The process of renting was smooth and easy, and questions asked were answered immediately. The property rented was exactly as described and we couldn't have been happier - except that we had to leave once our rental period was over. Go figure! They say "Location. Location. Location." is important and this place fits the bill! We spent 3 days traveling within 1/2 hour of Mountain Laural Lodge in all directions and didn't have enough time to do all we wanted to do! From Linville Falls to Grandfather Mountain to Downtown Blowing Rock to vista's along the Blue Ridge Parkway, it was great to be so close to so much that made this one if the best trips my wife and I have taken! That includes the Smokies for Christmas last year! That's saying something!! Hope to bring our daughter, son-in-law and grand daughter back here next year!

Truly cannot beat this house, location, or view. 10-15 min drive to downtown Boone. The house was beautiful and we stayed entertained with the fire pit, pool table, hot tub, and coffee on the porch. Comfy beds. 10/10 recommend!

The cabin is beautiful and the porch is WONDERFUL with a great view (even in the summer) that's perfect for morning cups of coffee or drinks in the evening. The location was perfect for us as it was only a short drive to great hiking and fly fishing. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a very pleasant experience with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. We had a trip planned for May 2020 and had to cancel due to the pandemic. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals made the cancellation process simple and easy, so we took this trip using our carryover credit from last year. (Dan in particular was responsive and courteous.) We stayed in the Mountain Laurel Cabin in Boone and enjoyed it very much, from the porch with a view to the spacious interior and basement room with a pool table. Check-in was easy with keys in a lock box. The cabin was clean, and the startup supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap) were all we needed for a two-night stay. We would like to see recycling offered in addition to trash; we had a lot of plastic water bottles, as well as cans and glass, and we felt bad just throwing them in the trash can, but we didn't have room in our vehicle to haul them. Overall a very good experience, and we will use Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals again when traveling to the High Country.

We had a great stay over MLK Jr. weekend! The cabin was clean and well equipped for our family. We loved that there were multiple living areas for the different members of our family. We had two teen boys that loved the downstairs bedroom with the pool table. And the upstairs loft area made a great play area for our toddler. We also loved the location of the cabin. It was very quick and easy to get back into Boone. Or a 20 to 30 minute drive to areas like blowing rock and beech mountain.
This cabin has a great views as well as it is situated higher up on the mountain. But I did not feel like the road up there was too treacherous as long as you bring a vehicle that has AWD or FWD. It snowed several times while we were there and covered the road to the cabin. Our Subaru Outback handled the road up to the cabin just fine. I feel like Blue Ridge Mountain rentals goes out of their way to remind you to be prepared for handling winter weather as well!

This home is beautiful, and in a great location in Boone. Everything is close and there are many things to do. My family and I went skiing and it was much fun, App Ski mountain is not far away and at a great price! The small details matter and Blue Ridge takes care of all of it, from great location to a clean home. Everything is perfect. I recommend this spot for big families and friends, you won't regret it!!

I've stayed at a few different properties around Boone and also Ashville, but this one is definitely my favorite. The road winding up the mountain to the lodge is a little bumpy, but no big deal especially if you have a 4x4. The upstairs to the lodge is perfect for kids, with two single beds, plus a double bedroom, a bathroom, and a very comfy window seat, couch, and TV! This alone made the stay worthwhile as the kids were able to relax up there, while the adults watched TV by the fire downstairs!

I stayed in Mountain Laurel cabin rented through Blue RIdge Mountain Rentals and had an EXCELLENT experience. All the information and pictures on the rental ad pages were very precise and a perfect representation of what you're getting. I LOVED the cabin, it was impeccably clean, decorated gorgeously and felt like home from the second we walked in. The wrap around porch was beautiful and the views were amazing. The kids loved the outdoor hot tub and the ground floor room with the pool table was a great hangout for them as well. Everyone had their own space, kitchen was fully furnished and we prepared all meals in the house. I'd love to return and highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing mountain escape. Close to Boone and Blowing Rock and all the wonderful things they have to offer.

Loved the property. It was beautiful, inside and out and very clean. Loved the wrap around porch. Kids loved hot tub. Decor was so homey - very cozy and relaxing from the moment we walked in. Close to Boone and Blowing Rock but it was hard to pull myself away from the fireplace and go out. I'd highly recommend the cabin to anyone looking for an escape and incredible views. 5 ?? for sure!!

We absolutely LOVED our weekend at Mountain Laurel. The cabin was gorgeous, loved the Christmas decorations .... and it was impeccably clean. I'd love to come back soon and would highly recommend any friends looking to escape to come there. So relaxing and felt like home. Sat by the fireplace, enjoyed the views from the wrap around porch. The seating out there was beautiful and also loved the hot tub. 5 out of 5 stars without a doubt!!

This was a perfect house for our family weekend gathering. The house is lovely ~ so well appointed w/fireplace, pool table, hot tub, plenty of large bedrooms and baths. We worked puzzles in the loft and played cards & games on the rainy autumn days. Stay here if you have a large family. It was fantastic!

Mountain Laurel Lodge is amazing! It was wonderful for our family and was equipped with everything we needed. The fireplace, pool table, hot tub and cleanliness along with all the modern necessities were amazing! The decor was so nicely done and the view was outstanding!
Be aware that it is located high in the mountain and is accessible by a gravel, not a paved road. Snow plows do not go up the steep uphill area. The gravel road is also posted with a sign that says “4 wheel drive advised.”

We absolutely loved our stay at Mountain Laurel Lodge!! Everything a mountain cabin should have, this place has it!! As soon as you walk in you get that "cabin in the mountains" feel. It's a cabin, yet has all the modern updates people are looking for. It's beautifully decorated, very homey and welcoming, and very spacious. It was very clean and comfortable. The views are spectacular!! I love the wrap around decks full of rocking chairs, I could sit there all day and stare at the view. We also love the privacy. There are other houses around but this cabin is placed so you don't see any neighbors and you feel like you are on the side of the mountain all by yourself. I just can not say enough how wonderful this cabin is. We have stayed there 3 times now and we will most certainly be back again.
The staff at the office are so nice and so easy to work with. They are so pleasant every time I have called the office. I really appreciate how they make you feel welcome. You can't ask for better staff. All together, this was a wonderful rental experience.

Just had our third visit to the Boone area, and have stayed at Mountain Laurel Lodge each time. Everything, the decor, decks, hot tub, proximity to lots of fun things to do and good restaurants, and especially the views from the decks, adds up to as close to a perfect time anyone could have. Were hoping to visit in each season. Delightful!
