This property was one of the best cabins I have rented over the years. Great neighborhood and property. The cabin was very clean and very well stocked. I will definitely book this property again.

What a great property and neighborhood. Beautiful surroundings, great amenities, just a great area overall. The house was just what you look for in a great mountain getaway! Also, great for kids. They had great adventures exploring the creek behind the house. The whole family enjoyed the live music and food at the pavilion one evening. Worth the drive up the mountain!

Winterfell was a nice cabin. We had a great vacation and will be back next summer. Having the Lodge open for breakfast and lunch was a big plus

It was our first time staying at eagles nest in banner elk- the weather, mountains and scenery were beautiful. Winterfell home was perfect for my husband and myself !

Beautiful cabin. Thoughtfully appointed. Very clean. We were snowed in for several days(18”). Multiple board games available. Snow shovel and car scraper waiting for us on the deck. Management was great to work with during the storm. Steep pitch to get to fire pit but beautiful setting. We would love to stay there again.

The house is beautiful. We really enjoyed eating on the porch and loved the firepit down at the stream. We loved the lights down at the firepit and loved playing checkers! We liked doing archery at Great Camp and enjoyed the children's books!

Such a beautiful home! The view was beautiful and the creek out back was a pleasant surprise. So many deer at dusk! We could easily move to Eagles Nest! :)

Thank you for sharing your home with us. It is beautiful here! We enjoyed the quiet relaxing campfires at night and all the wildlife during the day. We are from FL so hiking Grandfather Mountain to MacRae's Peak was AMAZING!! The ladders, pulley cables, and views were tons of fun. Mount Mitchell was rainy so we couldn't see the view but the trails were beautiful, like an enchanted forest. We didn't get rich gem minimum but it was fun. We drove all the way to Hiddenite to mine! We went to the Smokey Mountains to Cherokee to go horseback riding. While we were there we saw Gatlinburg. The Blue Ridge Parkway is beautiful and we saw elk! We went white water rafting and the staff at Edge Of The World made the trip so much fun! The drive to the river is 45 minutes but they put on a comedy show so it felt like a short ride. We got to rerun the rapids as many times as we wanted and we saw them in action helping others that flipped. Went to Banner Elk T-Shirt Co and stocked up so some t-shirts. Fred's down the road is perfect for necessities without going to Food Lion. We had a blast and will be back!
