The cabin was beautiful and everything my family needed to stay entertained for the weekend! We enjoyed the game room, corn hole boards, beautiful creeks and hiking. Ventured into town one day, relaxed by the fire pit and soaked in the hot tub. We had a blast! And would definitely recommend to anyone!

Beautiful cabin and beautiful scenery out in the mountains and very private. Boone is close by with ple ty to do especially if you're going for a ski trip. It only took about 30 min to get to Beech Ski Mountain.

This was absolutely, the BEST cabin experience we have EVER had. The moment we came around the curve of the driveway and saw it, we knew it was going to be perfect. The lot is beautiful, with a gorgeous mountain view from the dining room. We were VERY impressed with how clean and inviting and well maintained the home was. It was impressively equipped as well. Sometimes at stays like this, you get a jumble of hand me down cooking utensils and silverware and such, which is all well and good, but here, all the cookware, and place settings were very nice and very good quality. It made it feel like home and enticed us to want to prepare meals instead of trying to find a place to eat out or just snack. The interior was just beautiful and flawless and literally had everything we needed. We were so impressed with all the fun activities that were available for young children. The home was very well stocked with fun games to play as well as a load of legos and other toys tucked away in the ottoman for them to discover. It was like a fun little treasure hunt exploring for all the hidden goodies! There were plenty of linens and bedding for everyone. There is so much more we could say about how great our stay was, but just know that it left a lasting impression on us and was absolutely the BEST experience we have ever had. We will DEFINITELY be booking again. Thank you so much for the memories.

This cabin was very peaceful. The driveway was steep and unexpected but maintainable in our mini van! It was extremely clean and homely. It is less than a mile from TN, so we were able to explore many Mountain Views. The communication from the host was also excellent. I would definitely visit again.

Whiskey Creek Cabin was exactly what I was looking for! It was myself, my husband, 3 year old daughter, and 2 dogs and it worked perfectly for us. The BEST cabin for small families with kids! We absolutely loved every single detail of this amazing cabin. Upon arrival we noticed how spotlessly clean everything is and how newly constructed it is! We were pleasantly surprised to find it stocked with an abundance of games (battleship, connect 4, monopoly, UNO), a storage chest full of legos, bedtime story books, an art case full of markers, crayons, pencils, a full-size telescope along with a book to navigate the stars, and outdoor corn hole . Our first morning upon waking felt like Christmas Day as we watched our two girls play for hours with these games and enjoyed the firepit with morning s'mores & hot cocoa. Outside are a few small areas to hike & explore through the woods and possibly spot deer from afar along with an abandoned cabin near the entrance. There's a wonderful trout fishing location a few miles away where you can park and climb down to the river and take pictures, hike and play. The cabin is fully equipped with very nice pots/pans, dishes and appliances. I was pleasantly surprised to have plenty of hot water for 4 people taking showers/baths back-to-back and do dishes - it has a large hot water heater tank to serve a full house. The master bathroom claw tub bathtub was perfection! Pack bath bombs and enjoy quiet time soaking in the full-size tub! Although it's not a hot tub, it truly felt like it. The kids bunk bed combo was fun and very comfortable plus a pull out sofa is available in the living room. The master bedroom is equipped with sufficient quilts, blankets and black out curtains and the bed was very comfortable. The heater heats up the house extremely fast and impressed how well it worked. The architecture and interior details of this cabin is STUNNING! The hardwood doors, brick flooring in the bathrooms, brass plumbing fixtures along with cabin decor with antler chandeliers and throw pillows were all very tasteful and perfect touch to a wonderfully, warm & welcoming stay. 4WD is highly encouraged during winter season as the gravel driveway does have a steep incline but we managed fine with our SUV in September. The cabin is located 20-25mins outside of Boone and is off a major highway. Plan for it to take you a minimum 20-40 mins to get to most locations like Boone, Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock & Blue Ridge Parkway. Be sure to allow extra downtime to enjoy this extremely cozy cabin and unplug from society. We anxiously anticipated our return back every night just to enjoy sitting by the firepit and connecting as a family. I give this cabin 5 stars and will most definitely return again!! Book your stay at this wonderful hidden gem in the woods!
