First time BRMR our experiences was great. Cabin was very nice and cleaned. My wife and I loved the scenery. Honestly best weekend gateway celebrating our Anniversary. Definitely will be back.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Touch of Grey on the New River. The location is wonderful—it's a treat to be able to walk from the cabin down the yard to the river. The weather was excellent for floating. The place feels pretty secluded, but you are not far from West Jefferson, with its grocery stores, restaurants, & shops. The cabin is cozy, modern, & very clean. There's a great porch overlooking the river, two bedrooms on either end of the interior, a small but adequately stocked kitchen, & a bath with jacuzzi tub (nice!). There's one AC unit that worked well, plus ceiling fans that were really helpful for cooling the bedrooms. The folks at Blue Ridge rentals were wonderful to deal with, very accommodating & responsive. We would definitely recommend the company & the Touch of Grey cabin.

House was perfect size for 2 people plus dog. Very clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. It was very peaceful until neighbors arrived. Houses are very close but still enjoyable. Loved the view. Will definitely be back.

First visit to Blue Ridge Mountains Rental home was perfect overlooking river . A beautiful area of nature. Watching chickadee's flocking to bird feeder on our deck. Watching deer cross river . An amazing experience. Would go back again and again .

we booked the house for memorial day weekend for kayaking. we had a great time on the river but to anyone who's kayaking this section be prepared for low bridges that you will not be able to pass under. The house itself was very nice and had a beautiful view of the river. The house had all the immensities needed for cooking and grilling. Happy travels to the next guests 😊

Awesome long weekend! We loved it and so did our pup (glad it was dog friendly)! Very quiet and peaceful and included everything you could think of needing. And super clean! Side note is that there is no easy access to get into the river as it appears. Thankfully had nice people saying in houses next to us to allow us to use their stairs to enter. Also the house uses well water so smells of strong iron - bring bottled water to drink and be warned when showering!

Love the heater in the restroom, was a fantastic feature, especially for winter. The stove & dishwasher are small but practical for the cabin itself. Overall, amazing stay. Very private & the deck view is serene!
