The Nut House

The Nut House was incredible. 2 miles from Hawks Nest snow tubing, just down the road from Sugar Mtn. So convienent to everything. the house itself was great. The youngest kids lived the downstairs with the foosball table and bunkbeds. My son and daughter-n-law had the main floor to themselves, and my oldest granddaughter enjoyed the loft and her privacy. And the hot tub was a huge hit. The entire family spent time in it. So happy with our decisions to get the Nut House.

Everything was perfect. The location is amazing! Close to lots of little towns with shopping and lots to do. The quick and ease of communication was great. Quick replies no matter what time.

This was the perfect stay for a couple of days while exploring the area. The house was incredibly comfortable. We did not have a large party but this home would be very comfortable for multiple families with children. Very quiet neighborhood and convenient location.

The stay was amazing. Quiet and silence surroundings. Amazing view when you walk a few blocks. Easy instructions to access the property. Hot tub has a clean and fresh water. Every thing was working perfectly fine. All 11 members had a great time.

We enjoy the Seven Devils area each time we come and love going tubing at Hawksnest. This cabin was the perfect location and there was plenty of room for the 10 people in my family that came. The cabin was very clean and offered everything we needed. We would stay at this cabin again.

We can recommend The Nut House. It is beautiful, cozy and spacious for young & old…and teenagers. (We are a family of 5 with a large dog). Approximate 15 minutes drive from Sugar Mountain Skiing & 30 min from Beech Mountain skiing. Nice & quiet little community the Nut House is located in. We had a great & comfortable stay! Blue Ridge Rentals are very helpful & responsive.

The Nut House was perfect for our family of 10 during Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was spacious. We really liked the location and neighborhood and the hot tub was a treat.

The company found rentals for us to choose from, and we picked The Nut House. It was a great place for our big family to stay for our annual mountain trip. Well equipped for us to cook and gather for meals, as well as play games and spend time together. Good location to attractions and other towns of interest. We love the Seven Devils area - centrally located to everything we wanted to do (Boone, Linville Falls, Grandfather, Banner Elk, etc.). Great little house with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and bunk beds. Loved the jacuzzi as well. Highly recommend this place.

This home was PERFECT for our family to enjoy a weekend in the mountains. There was plenty of space for us all, 6 adults and 4 children. We loved the layout and hot tub outside. My mom is very picky about cleanliness and she was very happy with this home! It was perfect and the communication with the rental property was amazing. Everything from start to finish was a breeze. The Nut House is a great place for a large group or family! We loved our stay! The cabin is a great getaway and plenty of space for everyone!
What we liked:
1. the layout, each level has a room and bathroom.
2. the hot tub
3. wifi worked great since there is no phone service.
4. location, 25 min from boone and 25 min from Grandfather Mountain
5. there is no ac however we went in Nov so it was FREEZING and the heaters kept us nice and warm.
6. the communication from the rental company and us. they are very fast at responding and fixing issues.
Issues we had.
1. no trash bins, so we had to keep all our trash inside. (the rental company is already fixing the issue and knows about it)
2. some leaks in bathrooms and we notified the company
3. downstairs window doesn't shut completely and let's in a very small amount of air in

Great cabin! Lovely by the stream! Saw deer downstairs while on balcony! Beautifully decorated! Windows were difficult to shut an lock, downstairs a bit moldy smell. Other then that just Beautiful Cabin! Nice an clean! Hope to stay their again! Hot tub was great! And the Foosball table too!
