The Grape Escape at Eagles Nest

Our family took our first mountain getaway over the weekend to celebrate both of our daughters' birthdays. The Grape Escape was a beautiful home! We had everything we needed to be cozy in the home and Eagles Nest had loads of awesome amenities. The view from The Grape Escape was stunning, the house was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. Take advantage of the amenities available at Eagles Nest like the Sportsman's Lounge and the winery. Eagles Nest is a very special place! Definitely be prepared for winter weather as things on top of the mountain can be quite different than in town. The crews did an excellent job of plowing the roads and with a little shoveling of the driveway we were able to leave without a hitch. We were actually thrilled that we were treated to the full mountain experience the night before we left with an unexpected snow storm . Also, Banner Elk is such a charming mountain town! Be sure to make reservations prior to visiting as restaurants can get quite busy. You will also for sure need 4WD or AWD as instructed by the rental company. Love love loved this home and we will definitely be back! .

This was our most relaxing vacation as a family! Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was available to answer any and all questions, especially as we were first arriving. They were wonderful. The house was comfortable and clean. We slept alot! Lol We will definitely be back again!

My daughters and I have been vacationing in Eagles Nest for years and switched to booking through Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals in 2021. The experience has been amazing and every home we've rented has been beautiful. More importantly the homes are CLEAN, well equipped to for a family, and private. The Grape Escape was our most recent rental and it was perfect for the three of us. We look forward to returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one week plus stay @ “The Grape Escape” in the Overlook section of Eagle's Nest. Wonderful views from almost anywhere inside the home and the most relaxing deck with picturesque views all day long. Wake up early to catch the sunrise – it's beautiful! The house is extremely clean and very well laid out. The vibe is very bright and a nice alternative to a typical “cabin” feel. The entire family was extremely comfortable and cozy throughout our entire stay. One of the best features of this property is the location. Walking distance to the Winery and Pavilion. Very close to the back gate as well which provided us alternative routes to off property destinations without having to traverse down to the main gate every time. Our biggest regret is that we did not utilize the outside fire pit more often. Sitting around the fire and making S'mores together was a very “sweet” memory. The management team at BRMR left no questions unanswered and allowed for a very stress-free experience . . . from booking through departure. We can't wait to return!!

We had a little snow experience before the rain melted it away. It was my daughter's birthday, and she gave us some wonderful news... that she was pregnant with their first child.
