The Dire Wolf at Eagles Nest

We had a wonderful stay with our family over the holidays. The home is as you see in pictures. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We are cooks and enjoyed hanging out and preparing meals after a long day on the slopes. The kitchen was well stocked for this. We had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this property.

We recently stayed at this beautiful home and truly enjoyed our time here. The house is incredibly spacious, tastefully decorated, and offers breathtaking views of the mountains and sunsets — a perfect retreat for anyone looking to relax and recharge in nature’s beauty. The layout is well thought-out, and the large windows throughout the house allow for an abundance of natural light and scenic views. The bedrooms are comfortable, especially the king rooms, and the overall ambiance of the house is peaceful and welcoming. However, there were a few cleanliness issues that detracted slightly from the experience. The oven, drawers, cabinets, and some areas of the floor could have used more attention. A thorough cleaning and inspection after each guest’s departure would go a long way in maintaining the home’s high standards. A few thoughtful updates would make this place truly exceptional. Adding some seating near the hot tub would enhance the outdoor experience, and relocating the hot tub to a corner would help preserve the amazing view from the second king bedroom. Additionally, in the room with two beds, swapping out the large dresser for a nightstand would provide a more practical solution — giving guests a place to rest their phone and a light for reading. With these improvements, this home would absolutely be a five-star rental. We would love to return in the future once these small but meaningful changes are addressed! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Dire Wolf at Eagles Nest! The home had everything we needed - and more! Beautiful and comfortable furnishings, a well stocked kitchen, and plenty of room for us to spread out or come together for family time. The skee ball game was a huge hit! This property offers amazing views on one side and peaceful woods on the other. We enjoyed quiet mornings on the side porch watching deer, wild turkeys, and raccoons, and evenings on the deck watching the phenomenal sunset. We would love to come back stay in this home again!

Absolutely stunning retreat from a busy life. Kids loved the hot tub and game room and spent hours outdoors. Adults enjoyed the beautiful views and luxurious accommodations. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. We are sad to go home! 5 stars!!

This home was nothing short of spectacular! The view from the massive porch, the fireplaces, soaking in the hot tub after a fun day of sledding down the massive hill behind the sportsman lodge, and family skeeball tournaments. We can't wait to come back again to explore more. Your home had everything to make our stay enjoyable from the comfortable beds, a chef's kitchen with all the gadgets to cook with (even serving platters) for our big family dinner. The property is stunning. The wood, massive chandelier and fireplace were my favorites. We enjoyed our stay celebrating our son's 18th birthday. We highly recommend the Eagles Nest winery for brick oven pizza! Delish!
