The Bear Den

We had the BEST stay at the Bear Den! The cabin is equipped with everything you can think of. My husband likes to cook and the kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes and glassware. I always read reviews to see if anyone comments about the beds. I'll just say that these beds were very similar to what we have at home, so no complaints there. The cabin sits in between Boone and Blowing Rock, so it was fun to go out and explore both little towns, but we were most happy to stay in and enjoy the peacefulness of the cabin and its surroundings. We will definitely be returning, we feel like we have found our very cozy home away from home! Nekayah and Stuart

We had such a wonderful stay at the Bear Den in Boone! The cabin was cozy, clean and so perfect for a mountain get away. It had all the essentials and more including a great view, hot tub, gas logs, and extra comfortable beds. We would stay here again with no hesitation! Great location!

Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was easy to work with. Our cabin was just as advertised. We had a minor issue with WiFi that was a provider problem (Spectrum), but BRMR was quick to respond and when Spectrum was restored they quickly came to make sure it was set up and working again. I would definitely book with them again and stay in the Bear Den again. It was clean, well supplied and has everything we needed. It was also convenient to Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, The Parkway and Grandfather Mountain.

We enjoyed a peaceful and quiet stay at The Bear Den this past weekend. The house has a very private back deck with a hot tub as well as a walking trail through the woods in the neighborhood that was easy to walk and quite relaxing. Also, it is convenient to restaurants and businesses in Boone which made it easy to get lunch/dinner/groceries as needed. Highly recommend!!!

Everything was as advertised. I couldn't be more happy with the stay I had this past weekend. Such a beautiful layout and the back deck is so peaceful. Best part is how close you are to the app state campus and all the amazing local stores and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

This is the perfect weekend getaway! We saw so many deer and their babies during our stay! It is super clean and has everything you need! Only 15 minutes down the road from downtown Boone with tons of great restaurants (our favorite was Lost Province Brewing company). You can't see any neighbors from the balcony (and hot tub!), it's so peaceful! I highly recommend!

We had a great time visiting the Bear's Den. The place was great, with a delightful view, many amenities, toiletries, and games. The kitchen was well equipped, and the hot tube was great!

This was our first time in Boone and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to stay. The hosts were super friendly and great with communicating directions and recommendations for places to visit in the area. Everything was very clean and provided a relaxing stay. We can’t wait to come back!

This is the second time our family has stayed at the cabin, and everything was perfect. We found everything we needed to prepare meals, stay comfortable, safe, and warm. The snow made everything even more enchanting, bringing so much fun for the kids. The cabin is only 20 minutes away from all the best snow activities, like Appalachian Ski Mtn, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, and Hawksnest Snow Tubing. We will definitely be back in the future. This has already become our family’s favorite destination.

This was a wonderful place to stay! So wonderful for families bec it’s a big open floor plan, big stocked kitchen, and nice dining room table & big couches! The beds were comfortable & everything there felt nice! The hosts were also very helpful & accommodating!!! I’d come back here for sure!!!
