We had such a wonderful time staying at Sweet Serenity at Sweetgrass. It was perfect for our big group varying all ages. The big dining room table and large kitchen with a good amount of seating so we could all eat together. The layout of the house was great, too. We could all be doing different things but felt like we were together at the same time.
Great location from downtown Blowing Rock.

Great location. Beautiful views really easy to check in and check out. The house was definitely nice and cozy and very clean.
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend to check this place out.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Serenity. The house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed cooking together in the fabulous kitchen and gathering around the beautiful table. We will definitely look to stay here again when we return to Blowing Rock.

We stayed in the Sweet Serenity at Sweetgrass to celebrate family birthdays. The home was clean and appointed as stated. I think one point I didn't understand was that there are only 2.5 bathrooms for the 6 bedrooms so has an odd floor plan. I also felt the photos were a bit deceiving showing the lake in front of the house but that is actually a photo of the clubhouse which there was no access to. The first morning we woke up and the coffee maker would not work. We tried everything but it was broken. I called the phone number listed and let them know and they told me a coffee maker would be sent and should arrive by the next day. This was unfortunate in an expensive rental with 10 adults in need of coffee. They did send a coffee maker that evening. The two double beds upstairs have mattresses that are very uncomfortable. We slept one night in that room and ended up moving to the sofa. As a positive, there are games and pool table and nice TVs in each room. The kitchen was well appointed too. We had a nice stay overall.

The property was well maintained and was a nice fit for our family. We know the area well as we have owned a smaller home in Blowing Rock for more than 25 years. We came up two days early to make the week easier for our family coming from as far away as California and New York. It was raining and actually cold when we were trying to get into the house and the code we were given for the door did not work. After about 30 minutes on the phone (terrible reception) we were able to get a second code that got us into the house and are thankful that an actual person answered the phone. The weather was terrible for the whole week (fog and no visibility and unseasonably cold) a blessing for those of us who came from Temperatures feeling like 100 degrees the prior week. The house was nice and fairly new but could benefit from better lighting. (Floor lamps in the living room would be nice). The true test will be when I poll the family to see if they would like to return next year.

Our family of 6 and grandparents rented the house for our sons graduation. It was beautiful and spacious. The pool table and hot tub were huge favorites with our 22, 21 and 18 yo. Kitchen was well stocked. Our code didn't work when we arrived but was quickly remedied. Also, the day we were leaving it was very foggy and icy. I asked about a delayed checkout and was allowed 3 extra hours to be safe. We had a great weekend!

This house was perfect for three small families to get together for the weekend. We encountered a small problem when we arrived as the door code did not work but we called the number provided and was promptly give another code to access the house. The accommodations were great with plenty of space to gather and several bedrooms for winding down. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking large meals. We also loved the expansive yard for our dogs and how close the home was to several towns. The fire pit and hot tub were fun amenities that we enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this home.

The stay was lovely, everything was as described. There was an issue with the sink in the kitchen that couldn’t be resolved before our stay ended, but they provided a partial refund to make up for it. I’m satisfied and would be happy to rent from this company again.

Beds were comfortable and the neighborhood is perfect for long walks or a swim in the lake. House is close to tons of hiking trails and wineries, and best of all close to downtown Blowing Rock with tons of great restaurants. Couldn't think of a better place to spend the summer.

Close access to everything (Moses Cone Park, grocery stores, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mtn., Boone, trails, parks, skiing, hiking, lakes, App. St.) while maintaining separation away from things provides the perfect privacy in a beautiful community. The thought and detail that went into the design and layout was evident from the kitchen sink, bathrooms, extensive porch, room layout, overall visual appeal and furniture. Having two master bedrooms, with one on each floor, was a luxurious option. The staircase was stunning with the magnificent logs built in railing. I would highly recommend kids get their foosball and pool skills sharpened among the many opportunities to engage in the fun.
After all the fun and games, whether at hanging out Sweet Serenity or out and about for the day, everyone has more than enough room to gather around the large dining room table conveniently connected to the kitchen to refuel before enjoying the evening on the porch. I would highly recommend getting up to watch the sunrise on the porch, although you could do this through all of the beautiful windows. On a clear morning you can see the mountains with the sun peeking up over them creating a magnificent light show of different colors. It's well worth waking up early. The only negative comment is that I wish I stayed longer. You will leave with fond memories knowing where you are heading may be back home, but you really wish Sweet Serenity was your home because that is how it makes you feel.

My friends and I rented this cabin over a long weekend and had an awesome time. The trails in Blowing Rock are wonderful and Grandfather Mountain is always a joy to visit and only 10 minutes away! What I didn't expect was the wonderful trails in the gated community the cabin is in. Serenity is the perfect name for this house located in a beautiful neighborhood with many amenities (lake, fishing, trails for hiking and running) yet it doesn't have any close neighbors. The house is lovely and comfortably, spacious with multiple areas for entertainment and relaxing. It has cozy fireplaces upstairs and down and a wonderful deck warping two sides of the house in addition to the outside jacuzzi. The entertainment loft with pool table, foosball table, gaming area and tv is not only fun but beautiful. It is a perfect place for a family reunion or just a peaceful vacation. I have really loved my time here and plan to return.

I give this place five stars. We visited in mid-march and I love the amenities that came with the cabin. It was walking distance from the cabin to the lake house, where there were an abundance of activities. The walking trails and the scenery surrounding the cabin was breathtaking. We are located only 10 minutes or so away from the town of Blowing Rock.
As far as the cabin itself, I love the amount of space that is inside. The fireplace along with the view of the sunrise and the sunset makes this a perfect vacation spot for families. I will definitely return soon.
