The house was perfect for our family and we LOVED the location. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you needed and more than expected. We thoroughly enjoyed a night outside around the fireplace while watching a movie as well as sitting out on the porch in the mornings with coffee while watching all the deer roam the property. We took full advantage of the centralized location to go to Tweetie's Ghost Train, the Alpine Roller coaster, apple picking, Grandfather Mountain. Blowing Rock and watching the changing leaves as we traveled along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Thank you for a perfect fall break!

The house is wonderful! It was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The five bedrooms were comfortable and roomy. My group loved the neighborhood which was so lovely for a walk or run. I particularly enjoyed that the house was about a 10 minute drive from the Blue Ridge Parkway. (Much of that is just because you have to drive slowly in the neighborhood.)

This was our 4th stay at this property and we once again had a great stay! The house was as clean and well appointed as we have come to expect. The service from BRMR was exceptional as it always is. The location cannot be beat. There's really not much more that needs to be said. Perfect....as always! This was our 3rd stay at this home and we found it clean and well appointed as always. The outdoor TV and grill have recently been replaced and we greatly enjoyed them. We received a few inches of snow during our stay and the kids enjoyed some time sledding while the adults relaxed by the outdoor fireplace and cooked meals in the well stocked kitchen.We will certainly return again!

First let me say that overall the stay was great. The property is beautiful and the location is perfect. That said, the only drawback Was that the living room couch had a lot of crumbs and pet hair under the cushions. This was a particular problem for us because my four-year-old grandson is allergic to dogs and developed some hives. Fortunately nothing serious but you might pass this on to your cleaners

We had a great stay. The house was very clean and well appointed. Everything we needed to cook gourmet meals was easily found in the well stocked kitchen. We used the outdoor tv and fireplace daily while enjoying the fall air! The house is 2 minutes from the parkway and about 10 from blowing rock (take the parkway instead of 22. It's a beautiful drive). The location couldn't be more convenient and the kids loved the air hockey table. We will definitely return!! It's worth noting that several of the bedrooms do not have drawers for storing clothes (but there's plenty of closet space!).There is also a decent amount of construction going on within the sweet grass neighborhood but it seems to shut down by cocktail hour so noise wasn't an issue. We highly recommend the beautiful home!

The house is beautiful! There was plenty of room in the living room for 4 adults and 2 small children to enjoy time together. The room downstairs was perfect for our 2 little grandsons to play. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace on the main deck. The beds are quite comfortable, as well. The house was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals and enjoy a week together. Since it was on a street with no outlet, the boys were able to ride their scooter and bike in the street (with adult supervision of course) as well as take rides in the wagon pulled by Mamaw and Papaw. There were a couple of areas near by where the boys were able to try their hand at fishing. The kids and grandsons also took a canoe ride at a rental place nearby. (By the way, the rental place had a good price on firewood). All in all, it was a fun experience for the whole family. I would definitely stay there again. The area is so wooded, I'm sure it would be beautiful in the fall (we were there in June). By the way, we saw deer and a family of turkeys from the house.

We had 5 people in our party and it was the perfect size for us. We liked that there was an outside fireplace and we used it every night. We stayed here as our base for riding motorcycles on the beautiful roads and being so close to the BRP was a plus. Paved roads to the house is always a plus when on bikes. Overall great house and location will stay here again for sure.

Wow wow wow! We had such a memorable vacation. We were two families with little kids. The bottom floor was essentially a game room and the kids were entertained for hours on end. Fully stocked with Nintendo wii and games, dvds, air hockey table... it was so much fun for them. The main floor was all open with a full stocked kitchen beautifully decorated with all stainless steel appliances and a coffee station (bring K cups or coffee) The view is gorgeous, the fireplace area outside was cozy amd more than we expected. There were trails next to the cabin and around the community. the cabin is inside a private community which was a huge plus for us, yet still private and spacious between cabins so you still feel secluded. Can't wait to go back.

Very nice house with beautiful outdoor space and cozy vibe. Reasonably close to a lot of beautiful hiking and snowsports. Kitchen is well stocked. Great spaces for kids and grownups. On the pricey side but overall reasonable for what you get.

This home is absolutely beautiful. Easily accommodated our family with three different "sleeping floors" so there was plenty of room. A little difficult to find the house within the gated community - DO NOT USE GPS - follow the rental company's instructions and you will be fine. Well appointed with anything you needed to cook and that fireplace on the deck with tv is incredible. If you rather be inside the stoned wall fireplace is just as nice too! Awesome mattresses. Lots of board games and plenty of property to explore within the community.
