Unfortunately due to a water leak just before our visit, we were unable to stay at this location. The host was able to work with us to get a gorgeous replacement lodge and we absolutely loved our trip. The team was very accommodating and easy to work with and the new location suited all our needs and more.

My group and I had an amazing stay and loved skiing at both Beech and Sugar Mountain while there. Although the hot tub needed a repair part and the sauna didn’t work very well, everything else in the house was incredible- especially the cozy pool table room, which became our favorite spot for the weekend!

What a lovely place to celebrate our Christmas in the beautiful mountains. This home suited our needs perfectly and we had so much fun. The proximity to both Sugar and Beech mountains for skiing were excellent. We even decorated the home's decor cactus as our Christmas tree. Thank you for a great memory. We recently stayed at Sugar Bear with 6 adult couples. This house kept us all entertained with the varies TVs, pool table, poker table etc. the only thing I would be aware of is downstairs are 3 bedrooms and upstairs are 3 bedrooms. The downstairs- there is a room you have to walk thru the other adjoining room to access the bathroom. This did not cause a problem for our group. We would all rent this place again.

Sugar Bear Lodge accommodated our extended family easily! The large living area had plenty of seating, and the kids could break off to the lower level when they chose to. The kitchen and bar area were convenient for meals and everyone could find a place to sit. We used the large dining table for family card games and the pool table and other game tables provided nice entertainment. The lodge was the perfect size for our group of 8 & our pups. Comfy & homey for Christmas! Well equipped, great location close to both Sugar Mtn and Beech Mtn. We communicated opportunities to the management company, and had a great response on resolution. Definitely some maintenance needed, but confident things will be resolved.

Property handled our 14 amily members very well.
Lots of space for everyone.
Living room was a perfect size for all members to gather one night for our celebration.
Property is located close to many activities/wineries/golf courses,/hiking and just plain relaxing.
Kitchen well equipped and plenty of eating space for all.
The most difficult part of the rental is the driving up to the house.
Driveway is in need of repair.

The property is awesome. Worth the stay with friends. We went on motorcycles and it was a challenge for me and my friends to get the bikes up on loose gravel up a 30-40 degree incline. Rest of it I would give 5 stars for the place.

I loved every thing about this cabin. Well maintained and functional as described. I was alittle nervous at first because the code was not working during check in process, but they were able to fix that issue ASAP. Recommend it for family trip.

This is the second time we stay in this cabin, and we LOVE IT. Accommodations, cleanliness, fully stocked, spacious and so comfortable for a big group, and the best part, is pet friendly.

We spent a week at sugar bear lodge, and we wished it was a month! The house is absolutely gorgeous! It was a perfect getaway during this awful Pandemic : we were whisked away into a 5 star home with all the bells and whistles. It was very easy to get to the grocery store and other family friendly activities . The house was clean , and the sunsets were breathtaking!!! Love all the decor and we even counted how many rocking chairs there were ! So much to look at , we enjoyed every inch of the amazing Sugar Bear Lodge and we all cannot wait to go back!

Very comfortable, clean, home with great views and privacy. Only issue is the driveway but it’s a big one. It must be fixed. Gravel with large, deep, potholes. Without a truck / SUV it’s unlikely someone can make it.

Our family (13 in total) always love getting away together for the Christmas holidays. It can sometimes be a challenge to find the right house, with the right amount of bedrooms, and stuff for the grandchildren to do. Sindy's Ranch was absolutely perfect for our family with 6 bedrooms, and 4 baths. We had plenty to do with either playing pool up in the loft area, playing poker, shuffle board, darts or challenging each other to multiple games of pac-man on the arcade. The kitchen is huge and has everything and more of what you might need. The kids loved getting in the hot tub, and wish we could have enjoyed the outside fire pit area. But instead we got to watch it snow for the first time, and enjoy all of the beautiful scenery around the cabin and watching folks ski at Sugar Mountain. This cabin is made for memories, whether you want to take it easy and put your feet up or go out and find your next adventure. This is the only home that my family and I would most definitely rent again and again!! Thank you to everyone at Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals for making our trip one we will always remember!!
