We had an absolute great time at the cabin. Soothing waters is a great place to enjoy the mountains with plenty of amenities and close proximity to good food. We will definitely stay there again.

We go to the mountains 3 times a year. Soothing Waters was our favorite place yet! Beautiful cabin, great deck for grilling, firepit, and stream below. Property Manager is excellent.I would highly recommend and we will be back very soon!

We absolutely loved our stay at Soothing Waters! It was the most beautiful place with the creek running by the front. Our Scottie loved the walkway down to the water where he got to play. The cabin was exceptionally beautiful, very clean, well stocked with everything needed, and decorated so cute. This cabin has moved to the top of our “favorite “ list. Hopefully we will get to stay here many more times in our future. We loved it so much and can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the back deck enjoying the woods and the sound of the stream below, as well as some cozy nights by the fireplace reading. Check-in was super easy, as was communication with the renters during our stay. We were only a 15 minute drive to downtown Boone, but the cabin felt like you were kind of away from it all so we could enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. It was perfect for our family of 4 plus our pup! We were close in proximity to attractions and restaurants while still staying in a quiet, relaxing, secluded location. The hot tub was a nice bonus as well as stocked coffee for us tired parents. We would recommend this to all our friends. The only negative was the mattress pads wouldn’t stay on the beds and the pillows were very flat. Otherwise we had an amazing time and are so blessed you shared your incredible home with us.

Soothing waters was wonderful!! The cabin is nicely furnished with very comfy beds. Loved the little (but big) touches such as a sound machine in each room, kitchen and bath soap sets, coffee pods etc. The kitchen had everything you need to cook. The location was peaceful- it felt so remote, but was not far from grocery etc. The kids absolutely loved the stream and fishing in the pond. We would stay again!!

This cabin is a perfect choice for a stay in the area. The location was easy to find, the management company provided excellent info, and the check-out/clean-up process was the easiest I've ever experienced in my 10 years of renting properties. The cabin itself is charming, with a great use of space without feeling small, and has a well-appointed kitchen -- especially if you are a coffee connoisseur. The babbling creek is so close by that hanging out on the back porch or in the hot tub was our favorite part. The spotlight on the creek & the string of lights on the porch were also a nice addition at night time. Can't wait to return!

The cabin is everything that's described but so much more. Words cannot fully convey how soothing the creek is. And the book and game selection is so fun. The big shower is lovely. Kitchen very well stocked. It is truly a precious oasis!!! Communication from the rental company was very clear and helpful.

First of all, employees of Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals are very professional, polite, and helpful. Second, Soothing Waters was great, just like the first time we rented it!! It was very clean! We love the back porch- there is comfortable furniture for enjoying the view of the creek, and the hot tub is like new. The indoor furniture and beds are comfortable, too. We like the location, and it's not far from Boone. We look forward to visit #3!

This cabin was the perfect place for a relaxing get away with my wife. She loved the cabi so much she did not want to leave. The lighted Christmas tree was a wonderful touch. The whole cabin was perfect. The view and sounds of the stream off the back porch were truly relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay at this charming cabin. It is just perfect. Rustic, but updated. Had everything we needed. We loved the creek and our dogs loved exploring around it. Nice little walk to the pond also. Not hard to get to the house. Curvy roads but well maintained (even gravel road). Very quiet and private. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Amber and Emily were a real pleasure to work with at the rental agency. Incredibly helpful and friendly. Great communication. Our cabin was ready about two hours early and they called to let us know which was perfect since we had just arrived in the area. Cabin is convenient to Banner Elk and Boone. The only suggestions I would make is maybe an end table beside the couch with a lamp for reading and placing a cup and an ottoman or footstools. Furniture was very comfortable though. Nice touch with the Keurig and pods and also grinder with beans. Wouldn’t hesitate to rent here again.

This cabin is absolutely perfect! It was exceptionally clean and I am very picky when I comment on cleanliness but this cabin was spotless. It is well stocked with all you need. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is a sofa upstairs as well that could offer additional sleeping. The hot tub was wonderful and very clean. It has a wonderful little creek and fire pit area behind the cabin. There is a pond area that is catch and release that is only a brief walk down the driveway at the entrance to the Little Bavaria community. It is close to Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather mountain and it is only 30 min from Linville Falls. There are access points to the Blue Ridge parkway nearby as well. We had a wonderful weekend trip here and will definitely be back!!

We love the location and having a dog this is a great location to walk the dog and take to Valle Crucis Community Park is a great perk. Easy to get to Boone for great restaurants. The only negative comment is the mattress on both beds are very soft and uncomfortable. For an extended stay over 1 week, the mattress was tough on the back. Wish the owners would invest in a new mattress.

We had another great vacation and this cute and peaceful cabin. The kids loved catching crayfish and fishing in the pond. We enjoyed a family horseback ride at a farm just minutes from the cabin and loved how close this was to all the activities in Boone and Blowing Rock. We'll be back for sure!

They had plenty of towels and cooking necessities. The small creek and fire pit in the back was one of our favorite places to hang out! Our only complaints were that the house was on a gravel road, the washing machine was super noisy and the beds were a bit softer than we prefer. We would also recommend the rental office put lock boxes on the either the front or back door to make it much easier and more accommodating to checking in and out.

Immacualte. Beautiful property inside and out. It was better than expected! The best part was..... the owners LOVE coffee and they have the very best coffee waitng for you. No matter what your taste in coffee is, they have it covered. If you stop for anything before checking in, stop and get your favorite creamer! If creamer wasn't persihable, I'm sure they would provide that too. This cabin is perfect in every way! The smallest details have been taken care of, whether you want a cozy blanket to snuggle on the couch with or a towel for the hot tub, they have those details nailed down. We cannot wait to return!

My husband and I stayed here with my sister and her husband for 2 nights. We loved our stay, so much so that we never ventured out! We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting by the creek. We are both frontline healthcare workers and were desperate for a place to recharge with our kids. This was the best vacation we’ve had in a long time. The cabin is well appointed and had everything we needed. It has clearly been updated but retains a rustic feel. Our kids loved the creek, fishing in the nearby pond and walking around the property. Great access to Boone and Grandfather Mountain. Valle Crucis Community Park is a must do and very close. Appreciated being able to bring our goldendoodle who also lived his best life. Three of us and our beagle spent a wonderful week at this cabin. It was exceptionally clean and the kitchen is very well stocked. The master bath is beautiful and the rain shower is so relaxing. It was so nice to sit on the porch or in the hot tub and listen to the waterfall. We were so excited to see a bobcat on our second morning and saw deer in the neighborhood everyday. The employees at Valle Crucis Log Cabins are so helpful and friendly. You can not go wrong renting this cabin we are already making plans to go back.

We had good seating, sleep space, and two toilets which is really just necessity. 😂 The kids loved the hot tub and we all slept so soundly. Easy drives to all of our hikes and High Gravity Adventures. The area in general is very accessible and was very easy to get around in and find restaurants/grocery stores, which is rarely the case for us when taking hiking trips. We checked in and out without issue (managed to just miss the employees in person both times). We left a few items behind 🤦🏻‍♀️ and they were mailed back without issue. Thanks so much for an amazing trip! Securing good lodging is always a stressful part of planning for us because we like room to spread out, a kitchen to cook in, and for the kids to be able to run around and play without disturbing neighbors or being cramped/underfoot. All while being affordable for us! All boxes checked here. ♥️

I was very shocked to see how well the kitchen was stocked! It had everything you would need to prepare a large meal. The cabin had everything you could need. Great location and amenities. We had a power outage due to winds one night and I called the management company. They followed up and sent maintenance over to check and make sure it was on since we were out skiing. We had no snow on the ground, but could see it being a little tough to navigate all the turns without 4wd. We loved the area and visiting Blowing Rock, Boone and Valle Crucis area.

Great cabin near the creek, even the running water during the winter while out on the porch grilling or using the hot tub was a soothing sound. Cabin was super clean. Many coffee choices including freshly gound coffee was a special touch. Kitchen was stocked with any utensil or dish that we could possibly need. Windows and skylights were nice. This cabin was great for 2 couples and dog. We came for the weekend to go skiing at beech mountain (about 40 minutes away). The cabin is in a cute little neighborhood with lots of privacy and woods around. Our dog really liked the stream behind the cabin. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Soothing Waters is the perfect place for a family getaway! The cabin is close to nearby ski resorts, tourist attractions, trails, etc. There's plenty to keep the kids entertained at the cabin as well - hot tub, fire pit, creek, catch and release pond has lots of trout. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed for cooking. We will definitely stay here again.

Very nice! Exceptionally clean and we'll stocked. Coffee options were great. Backyard creek with very active waterfall and fire pit and ample stacked wood was terrific, and my wife and I spent most of a beautiful afternoon there . Only challenges were figuring out how to use you-tube for tv and adjusting heat(we never could find thermostat that worked). Thankfully, has fireplace worked fine. Owner info provided was very helpful, but could be updated for tv and hvac operation. We will certainly return in the near future. Oh, yes, can definitely see need for 4- wheel drive for winter weather. Also, host was great!

We went here for a nice little weekend get away. The staff had great communication and were very friendly and helpful. The cabin is in close proximity to shopping and waterfalls. Upon arrival the place was nice and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking essentials as promised. We had clean linens and bed linens. It was nice and quiet the whole time we were there! We really enjoyed our stay here.

My husband, stepson and I rented this cabin for my 50th Birthday last month :) What a relaxing and enjoyable time we had. Was my stepson 1st time in a hot tub and he was in awwww. what priceless memories we made there. We sent two messages twice before our stay that it would be my birthday and how excited we where and all but didn't get a response. When we left after our stay they asked to fill out this card with any suggestions and we did. The place was cleaned but not the area by the creek with the firepit and chairs (alot of spider webs and debri) so couldn't enjoy that area at all and the rock path leading to it wasn't all that safe but we stayed on back deck listening to the creek alot.The main bathroom is amazing even though we didn't us the jet tub. Things they did provide meant alot like the coffee and such little things that made u smile. We enjoyed grilling out in between our visits to waterfalls and blowing rock and all. We enjoyed a long weekend, relaxing by the creek/waterfall at the firepit, and thoroughly enjoyed listening to the rushing water that could be heard, even while in the hot tub. The cabin is beautiful, and was well stocked with everything we could need. Management was always informative and pleasant to speak with, making the check-in/out process easy. The only tiny thing I'll say, is that you may want to bring large beach towels to use with the hottub, as the bath towels on property are on the smaller side.

My family came up for the weekend and had a perfect trip! The house was impeccable and had everything we needed for the weekend. My kids loved the hot tub and the creek. My husband and I enjoyed the location and the view of the woods. The property manager was very helpful and wonderful to work with. We will most definitely be planning a trip here again!

The water fall out back was very soothing to wake up to and while enjoy the hot tub. We found there to be great hikes around the house to enjoy. So close to so many great adventures. Maintenance was fantastic when we realized the heat was having some issues. Taken care of the same day. Thank you for sharing you lovely home with us.

Our stay at Soothing Waters was absolutely wonderful. As soon as I walked in, we felt a sense of calm and serenity, which was so needed during these hectic pandemic times. Our boys (4 and 3) LOVED the toy and book collection, and of course the jetted master bathtub and hot tub were huge hits, too! The creek was the most relaxing background sound and view while enjoying a glass of wine with my husband. S’mores by the fire pit is a MUST! The beds are very comfortable and I was so thrilled to find cozy blankets within an arm’s reach in every room! This place just says, “come on in, and relax”. We are looking forward to a summertime visit for even more nature adventures with our kids!

The setting is magic-the stream, the mountains are out of a book. We had light snow and it could have been a movie. Comfortable cozy cabin with excellent coffee. Great for the kids and dog, nice property to stomp around in. Close to all the essentials and snow tubing! Definitely bring chains is you don’t have 4 wheel drive!!!

At the end of the road, it's so much nicer than the photos. Saw deer and owls in the morning. Valle Crusis rentals couldn't be more helpful and pleasant.

The Soothing Waters cabin was a lovely secluded getaway for us. We brought two small children, and our dog, and the house was well outfitted for our group. Updated furnishings, a fabulous location near stream with a fire pit, and close to Boone and Blowing Rock. Highly recommend!

First, our entire vacation from beginning to end was easy. That is because the management group, Valley Crucis Cabins Log Cabin Rentals. They offered help in every area. They were professional and personable from the very beginning. We arrived during the daytime on purpose and I suggest you doing the same. The roads can be a little cray cray. Other than that, our stay was peaceful. The cabin is at the end of the road so there was no traffic, on foot or by vehicle. There is radiant heating which meant our feet were never cold. The appointments are comfortable and it felt like home. The surrounding areas are fun and the locals are really nice. The hiking was also good. Overall, we would not only recommend this cabin and location but we honestly hope to return.

We had a wonderful time staying at soothing waters cabin. It was the perfect spot with so much to do both on-site and in the surrounding mountain towns. The cabin had the perfect coffee, books and even kids toys and games -- personal touches that made our stay even more relaxing. We were able to take a break from all the stresses of the world and just relax as a family. It was just what we needed!

Soothing Waters is not just a cabin, it’s a place to breathe and reconnect. We are both frontline healthcare workers and were desperate for a place to recharge with our kids. This was the best vacation we’ve had in a long time. The cabin is well appointed and had everything we needed. It has clearly been updated but retains a rustic feel. Our kids loved the creek, fishing in the nearby pond and walking around the property. Great access to Boone and Grandfather Mountain. Valle Crucis Community Park is a must do and very close. Appreciated being able to bring our goldendoodle who also lived his best life. Already booked a return trip and the kids hope we can come every summer. Thank you, Kelsi, Dylan and Garrett! ❤️
