Sky Laurel Cottage is very roomy, comfortable and clean, and communication with host was very easy, professional, and response was quick! This is our second stay here and we will definitely rent again when going to Blowing Rock!

It's centrally located in Blowing Rock but on a quiet road. The kitchen is tiny, as others mention, so not where you'd stay in you want to do much cooking. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Sky Laurel for the App State vs JMU game. The cottage was super clean and comfy. It was easy to get to which was nice because of the icy conditions. It's also very close to downtown Blowing Rock and a short drive or Uber to Boone. We would definitely stay again.

Showers worked well with good pressure and hot water. TV's everywhere. Good stay on a blustery weekend!

The location of the house is convenient to downtown Blowing Rock. The house had all the amenities we needed The layout of the house worked well for our family. The only distraction is the road noise from hiway 321 if you want to sit outside. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this house.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The cabin so so cozy and cute. It was clean and in a great location, close to everything, and communication with rental co was fast and easy. We will definitely be back. The only thing I would recommend is to get the sliding glass door lock fixed- the lock doesn’t work, there is only a wooden bar to put in the track. Otherwise it was great!!

Great location close to downtown (it's a good walk if you wanted) and easy access to roads to head out of town to explore. Kitchen is small (would not recommend a thanksgiving family meal here) but it has everything one needs for a stay. Very quiet location, No through road and in a beautiful setting

Loved this charming cottage. There were 6 of us and we each had lovely large bedrooms with private bathrooms for each couple. The front porch with its large rocking chairs was perfect spot to enjoy coffee in the morning and listen to the birds. The cottage is convenient to everything including walking distant to beautiful downtown Blowing Rock. We had a great week staying here.

This cabin is just lovely. It has undergone a beautiful renovation. Location is perfect. Close to downtown and outlets. Has a master on the main. Parking is right out front. There is a fenced yard for dogs. View off the deck is amazing. Kitchen is small but has all you need. It was so clean. We didn’t have a key code due to booking late but blue ridge was awesome after hours. It’s a gem.

Location was excellent and very cute. Den was nice and pretty decor in the cabin. Nice rocking chairs on the front porch and great patio table and chairs area. We did have trouble opening the front door when we arrived , the code didn’t work as told and had to make multiple phone calls to get reset. Finally did get in and no further issues. Basement had a little closed in smell but was clean and beautifully decorated. Parking was tight but good for our one car. We would recommend this cabin for convenience and privacy but not if you have a big truck or vehicle that needs turning around or if you have multiple vehicles with your party . We did enjoy and would return for more memories! Communication was perfect with emails and preparation.

This house was exactly what we we were looking for. The only thing I would say is it is not a mile from town if you want to walk it. Not a bad walk but you have to go over the main hwy rd. One other thing I would say they need a hair drier I forgot mine so couldn’t dry my hair. The street is Very quiet and plenty of space for us. Lower level is large if you come with 2 other couples. Overall I would rent this place again!!

Cute redone cottage, very clean and neat accommodates 6-8 well if you don’t mind sharing 2 showers. Best to order in very small kitchen but overall a really great, cute, and cottage. Comfy furniture.

This cottage is a convenient gem in Blowing Rock! The house is bigger inside than it looks and is nicely decorated. All three bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The remodeled bathrooms are nice too! The kitchen is very small with a tight fit to walk between the one narrow isle between the two counters so it's hard to do any cooking.

Cozy quarters in cute neighborhood. We ate in and found the kitchen small but perfectly adequate. We used the charcoal grill. Comfortable sleeping upstairs. The downstairs was below grade and a little musty. There was a nice side deck but the sounds of the nearby highway kept us inside. Our outdoor time was spent on nearby hiking trails!

The property was very nice. While you could tell that the house was built in the 1950's (very narrow kitchen, original oven, cabinetry style), the renovations the owner has made were spot on. The house was very clean and well set up with everything you need. Master bathroom shower was a little small for a guy my size (6'1", 245) but was manageable. The only knock I could give it is the parking, which is just an indent from the main road in front of the house. If we had more than one car, it would have been difficult getting them both in the indent without having a car sticking into the middle of the road. Outside of that however, the house met our every need and was in a good location very close to downtown Blowing Rock. We would stay here again.
