Property was very nice and clean. Convenient to App State. We enjoyed the pool table and hanging out in the kitchen/family room. The internet was not working but Blue Ridge called me before and they were out the next day to fix it. Would stay again.

The house looks like the pictures, but it is worn and needs some upgrades. The house was drafty (due to the portbale AC units) and we never got a comfortable temperature. The kitchen was well appointed with utensils and the grill. The beds were comfortable. The check in code provided was incorrect, and I had to call to get the correct code to access the property. I don't think the house and amenities match the price point. (Please note this feedback has been shared with our team to look into further - BRMR)

Had a great time, everything was as expected! I had a 4x4 SUV and had no issues getting up to the property. A couple of friends with smaller cars did fine after removing some of the snow at the start of the driveway but the owners were kind enough to have a shovel at the property. Overall, amazing location to get to the Boone, Blowing Rock downtown, and App Ski Mountain. Will totally visit again next time we hit the slopes!

Overall we had a great time… house description was very inaccurate. We chose this house because of the “game room”. There was no possible way to play ping pong and there was no kids pool table, which was disappointing. The bottom floor bedroom was extremely COLD. The kids only watched TV while the heater was on, didn’t want to leave the heater on with kids down there all night. The house needs a little maintenance on the outside. If you want privacy, this house is not for you, it’s very loud, you can hear everything. Our trip was great but next time I’ll reach out to actually speak to someone before I book online. It sounds like I’m complaining a lot but just wasn’t what we were expecting. Also the house code didn’t work and took quite sometime for anyone to respond

Good morning, Sky High Chalet was a perfect space for our family. We enjoyed our stay. What a great house! Beautiful view, updated and clean. The beds were soooo comfortable! We had family Christmas here and hit the ski resort as well. Hot tub was immaculate! Great WiFi and Roku TV! Thanks for a great stay!

This was such a great place to stay!!! The perfect amount of space for the 3 families we had there and close to lots of fun things to do! The weather was rainy and foggy so we never got to see the view but we didn’t let the bad weather stop our fun! Our only complaint would be that the downstairs where the bunks were for the kids was quite cold and we could never get it warmed up well. They still slept ok but wish it would be warmer for them! Thanks for a beautiful home!

Home just as described. Kitchen is well stocked. Few things outdated like the couches but overall very comfortable. Large dining table to accommodate all 8 of us. Fun ping pong and pool table. Good location unless it was snowing heavy then it would be a challenge. No view to speak of. The home was very clean. Hot tub was great to have. Would overall give it a very good review and would stay here again.

Overall great experience. Had a group of 12, the home fit us comfortably and was great for our ski trip. Driveway was mostly cleared after the snow storm. Definitely suggest 4wd in the winter months. Good distance from multiple ski resorts as well.

Great spot for a group to stay! Right near Boone. House was a great layout for our group and provided just what we needed. Open main floor was great for dinner / football watching. Pool table in basement was fun!

This is a great location for those interested in skiing and overall great location for non- winter season. Photos give you clear idea about the location and what view to expect, you do not get mountain or valley view from patio.
One recommendation for property management: When we entered premise kitchen area had strong odor, could be because of centralized air-conditioning not working. Carpet seemed to have absorbed this smell and looked little damp, when we called maintenance we were told centralized AC not working, it should be mentioned on website till it is not fixed.
