Location. House was very pretty. House was clean and well stocked. Hot tub was nice. Many games and movies for entertainment. Only complaint would be hard mattresses. Grandson LOVED it. He said it was better than the beach. Will return.

Lovely property tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, cozy living room, functional kitchen Located conveniently to local parks and trails, this house is a perfect base for couples or families who like to hike. The dogs loved it too, especially their morning walks around the circle.

We loved the property location. It's in a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walking. We enjoyed the large tv in the family room when we weren't on the back porch enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature. The pool table was also a big hit. We look forward to returning soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay at A Mountain Hideaway. It was a very comfortable house with plenty of room for our family. Lots of amenities including a well-equipped kitchen which made the cooking easier. Easy to get to and close to Blowing Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway and Grandfather Mountain area. Blue Ridge Rentals provided great instructions for check-in and check-out as well as great communication during our stay. I felt I could call if any issue would arise (which it didn't). Thank you and we will definitely call Blue Ridge Rentals for our next mountain trip.

Great little cabin! Good location to travel to blowing rock/ grandfather mountain. Cleanliness could have been a bit better, there was a left over article of clothing on the patio from a previous guest and one of the bedrooms had a pet odor. Master bed felt a bit like an air mattress. Overall, small issues to a cute place to stay for a weekend trip. Would come back!

My wife and I stayed in a Mountain Hideway and it was absolutely beautiful! There is so much room for a family or friends to stay. We felt so comfortable and liked staying in just to enjoy the cabin. When we got the house was very clean...they even text and said we could check in early since the house was ready. The view from the upstairs deck was breathtaking! Staying there was very relaxing and peaceful...but we had so much we could do there. We made sure to check out the hot tub after grilling. Would highly recommend, the staff were all great and quick to help and reply to emails. The house was very clean and has all the comforts of home.

Wife just retired after 38 years teaching. She wanted to go away on first day of school and take our Dog who always has to stay home when we travel. The cabin was perfect -quiet neighborhood perfect location and everything we needed was there. Will definitely come again.

This lovely home is ten minutes away from downtown Blowing Rock and also near Grandfather mountain. It is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood with a partial view of the mountains, large grassy lot, and plenty of room and spaces to hang out or be alone both inside and outside. We found the house to be quite clean. There were a few cobwebs here a there (such as on the chandelier and hard to reach places), but all of the furniture, hard surfaces/tables, bedrooms and baths were impeccably clean. The house was well appointed with all basic kitchen needs, plenty of towels, trash bags, pillows and even DVD's although we did not watch any TV. The internet password was located inside the house binder and was very fast, so much so that one of us was able to work remotely with ease. The house was somewhat challenging to find as the house numbers are not in order and the house itself is shielded by trees from the road (and we arrived after dark, and the neighborhood is not well lit- which makes for a great nights' sleep). There is a wooden sign with the name "Mountain Hideaway" which we eventually found. By comparison, all switches and amenities are labeled in the house which helps you get oriented to where everything is. Everything was so easy. The rental company contacted us frequently (by email and text) to make sure we had everything we needed and it was much appreciated. The house was extremely comfortable and we would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We were a family of 5 and this house had enough space for all of us and then some. Being in Blowing Rock and so close to Boone was perfect. Everything was easily accessible to us and we loved driving through the Blue Ridge Parkway each day and seeing the gorgeous scenery. The kitchen was fully stocked and we loved the labels on all the drawers and switches letting us know what everything was in the house. The pool/ping pong table in the master bedroom was an added bonus and our kids loved it!! We would definitely rent this property again.

We loved the property and location. We had two families and this only had beds for 3 of our 6 children. We had two on air mattresses and one on the pull out couch. Next time I will choose a location with more actual beds. For a weeks stay the children deserve to sleep on an actual bed.

Check in process was super easy. The communication was excellent with the rental company. No real issues with the cabin, plenty of room we just wish the weather was a little better, we had a ton of rain so it was very wet and cold.

Family of 5 (3 adults/2 kids) had a FANTASTIC time for a birthday vacation. The neighborhood is a perfect 1/2 mile loop for walking the dog. The hot tub was clean and operational. We had a snowfall of 8" during our stay, and the cabin was the perfect place to experience it. Weber grill was clean and had a full tank. Recommend you bring a sled for the kids in the winter, as the side yard is a perfect incline. We had a great time, thank you to VRBO & the owners!!

My family and I stayed here (with our dog) and loved every minute! The communication was excellent, the cabin was very clean and we could tell had been sanitized properly. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable for our group. Our favorite part about our stay here was the hot tub! It was very nice after a day of exploring the surrounding area, relaxing in there! We would definitely recommend A Mountain Hideaway to anyone!

The Mountain Hideaway is located in a small quiet neighborhood. The cabin has all the basic necessities and comforts of home with some additions like the Weber grill for meals. Four legged friends also enjoy the cabin. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home!

What a great location and cabin! All the comforts of home with the bonus of a wide variety of cooking pans and dishes. Greatly appreciated the weber gas grill. The neighborhood is quiet, and the porches are inviting. The bed slept well. A huge thank you for making this property dog friendly. You even had carpet covers on the stairs for our four legged friends. The weekend was a great getaway. We look forward to our next stay in July.
