We absolutely loved Sanctuary at Eagles Nest! I was exceptionally well stocked with comfortable beds and a very convenient location within walking distance of all Great Camp has to offer. But the balcony really stole the show with the views and comfortable seating areas. We all agreed we would come back to this house again.

The Sanctuary at Eagle's Nest was lovely. The house was well stocked and had the most beautiful views of the mountains. The hot tub and outdoor fireplace were relaxing and great ways to spend the evenings. The rooms were spacious and cozy, and two families would fit perfectly. We had a wonderful time. I recommend that the TV in the main room be updated and made easier to use. We could not use that room for any movie viewing because the remotes were difficult to use, and many needed battery replacements. Smart TVs in all bedrooms and entertainment rooms would be a nice upgrade. Overall, the house and surrounding towns were delightful, and we would definitely recommend it to others.

We loved the cabin. The cabin was way up high on the mountain, which I personally loved, but if you're a little stressed about the ride up you might want to think about that, but the area was gorgeous 😍 it snowed the last two days we were there and it was breathtakingly beautiful! VERY nice community and gated for extra security! We LOVED the dollar general store! We visited hawksnest, sugar mountain and Elk River Falls! Loved it all! The kids loved all the games. The adults loved the huge hot tub with LED lights. Pool table wad a HUGE hit as well! All of the indoor fireplaces are on remote controls or switches. We loved the BIG fireplace down below it was beautiful!!!!

We loved the cabin. Our family celebrated Christmas at The Sanctuary. This was our second Christmas staying at an Airbnb in Banner Elk. Overall, this is a 5 star property that is even better in person than the listing photos. We had 2 adult couples and four children for the stay, everyone was very comfortable. Would highly recommend for future stays. * Location is very good. The gated community is very private, with nice amenities for the warmer months. A short drive to either Beech Mountain or Sugar Mountain. * Home is beautiful with an architecture that gives the true mountain feel. The owners clearly built this home for themselves with high end details and luxury furnishings. Kitchen is well appointed for group meals. * Amenities make it fun - hot tub, pool table, foosball, deck, firepit, gas fireplaces; a 24/7 Amazon Go type store is walking distance The home sits at 4500’ elevation, access during snow requires a 4WD truck with off road tires, or an AWD vehicle with tire cables/chains

The property is beautifully set in the North Carolina mountains with picturesque views all around it. It's conveniently located between Beech and Sugar mountain, 15-20 minutes to each one, and 7 minutes of those are just getting down the mountain the home is on. Don't let the pictures deceive you, its everything you'd expect except for some reason they have no pictures of the downstairs which is a great bonus for the house. There is another TV, fireplace, pool table, foosball, and basketball down there! Really enjoyed ourselves!

What a gorgeous home! The kitchen was well-stocked! I love how there were extra hooks in the basement bedrooms for hanging snow bibs and coats. Once you're there… you don't need to leave! So much entertainment in the house. We had a relaxing time as a family, just enjoying the amenities and spacious living!

The house was perfect for celebrating my Aunt’s 70th birthday. Location was perfect and within walking distance to the ropes course and putt putt. It had all the amenities a family needs to enjoy time together without having to leave if a “staycation” is what you want. The Sanctuary was just as described. The vaulted ceilings are beautiful! One favorite was the outdoor fireplace on main level. The kitchen was well stocked and the house had everything we needed. (Unfortunately the arcade was not working.) The Lodges at Eagles Nest is a beautiful neighborhood.
