Roll With It

My girlfriends and I take an annual trip to the mountains every year. This year we changed our location and fell in love with this house! The open floor plan in the kitchen/living room was perfect for us to converse while cooking and cleaning. There were plenty of beds and sleeping areas for the 5 of us. The location was close to downtown Blowing Rock, which we loved! It’s also not too far from grocery stores and downtown Boone. We’ve already talked about renting this house again next year.

We had a great time staying at Roll With It. THe home was in great shape, with beautiful views of Grandfather Mountain and Beech Mountain off in the distance. Our family has 4 kids, from 12 - 4 yrs old, and the bunk room was the perfect spot for them to unwind and sleep in. We enjoyed being close to Blowing Rock, and not too far off the road to get to the home, but just far enough that you couldn't hear any traffic or vehicles. I would highly recommend the Home for anyone looking for a nice mountain retreat with a stunning view.

Beautiful place! Decor was great! The deck was awesome with incredible views! We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.. Minor downside….. beds were very firm, hard to regulate heat with one thermostat and would be nice to have exhaust fan in the upstairs bathroom. The home was even better than the pictures. We loved basement and bunks and separation upstairs. The view was absolutely incredible. You get the feeling of being private and secluded but close to everything and very convenient location. The home was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Roll With It. The house was clean, spacious, and exactly as pictured. The views were amazing, and the host was easy to communicate with. We probably spent more time outside on the porch with the fire pit than we did inside! One thing to note for future guests: the beds were listed as “plush,” but all of us found them to be extremely firm. We understand comfort can be subjective, but among our group of eight, no one felt the beds were comfortable. This wasn't a deal breaker, but it did affect the quality of sleep during our stay. Still, the home itself was wonderful, and with an update to the mattresses, it would be an even better experience.
