Rocky Top Retreat at Blue Ridge Mountain Club

I have been happy to be a guest at Rocky Top Retreat for several visits during different seasons over the last few years. Rocky Top is an amazing mountain retreat that provides luxurious comfort and space to truly unwind and enjoy time together with family and/or friends. The home decor is cheerful and colorful with a mountain vibe. The main floor of the home has comfortable seating with tables and chairs for meals both inside and out with spectacular mountain views. For cooler nights, there are two fireplaces, one indoors and one outside to stay warm while drinking a coffee or hot chocolate. And if you visit during Springtime, you will probably be treated to frequent hummingbird visits on the porch. There are games and puzzles for guests to enjoy as well as a large screen TV to watch movies, sporting events etc. A hot tub and rocking chairs are located on the entry level deck of the house, just off a beautiful one bedroom suite. Both the bedroom and the hot tub and rockers offer up an amazing mountain view. Upstairs, there are two spacious and lovely bedrooms each with their own modern bathroom. And just a few steps down from the entry level is another bedroom and bathroom suite, along with a deck. So there is plenty of room for guests to be together while also having privacy and quiet time. If you enjoy preparing meals, the kitchen is spacious and well equipped with state of the art appliances. Just be sure to bring all of your ingredients and spices as you are away about 20 minutes from shopping areas, which is part of the charm of this mountain retreat. There is a delicious restaurant and bar on site at the clubhouse just a short walk from the house. There are several fire pits to enjoy as well, and often live music on the lawn or the clubhouse on certain weekends. My favorite time to enjoy the restaurant/bar is before sunset with a glass of wine while taking in the beautiful surroundings. It's also very special to walk over early in the morning and watch the sun rise above the clouds. And you can enjoy the many trails within the neighborhood for hiking, exploring and UTV riding, as well as a fitness center with floor to ceiling windows looking out over the mountain range. I highly recommend Rocky Top Retreat for your mountain getaway to relax, enjoy all it has to offer, and create special memories.

Our stay at the Rocky Top Retreat was absolutely fabulous! The tri-level layout was spacious and beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully done. The townhome was fully stocked with everything we needed *** from kitchen essentials to cozy blankets*** making it feel just like the comfort of home! The views were truly majestic, especially from the deck and hot tub. Watching the sunset over the Blue Ridge Mountains was unforgettable. We loved how clean, comfortable and well-maintained everything was. You can tell the owner really cares about their guests' experience. If you are looking for a luxurious mountain escape with stunning views, every comfort imageable, hiking trails and great restaurants close by, Rocky Top Retreat is the place to stay.
