We had a great time and really enjoyed the house and proximity to hiking. We played in the creek and had a few campfires. It was definitely off the beaten trail.

The cabin was beautiful and well stocked with everything you need for your family to feel at home. There is still quite a bit of debris around the surrounding area due to the hurricane, but nothing that stopped us from having a great time. We loved the creek sounds and the hot tub on the porch!! We will definitely be booking this cabin again!!

Amazing cabin/ lodge for our 13 guests to spend Thanksgiving weekend. We had a blast making s’mores and chocolates, playing Jenga by the fireplace . The layout of the house is perfect, it’s big enough for everyone to have their own space but small enough to keep our get together intimate. Truly a gem of a house. The only issue was that the internet did not work and cellular service was very spotty . But quite frankly that was a blessing in disguise because the kids were forced to play together rather than be stuck on their phone ignoring each other. The location was nice and we were able to visit Grandfather mountain and went to Boone to do some sightseeing. Overall 10 out of 10 . Would definitely stay there again . The after hour service for BlueRidge were very helpful friendly and always available. Thank you for letting us stay in this lovely house. We had a blast!

Our stay at the Roaring Creek Lodge was pure magic! Nestled in mountains, yet close enough to hop into town - it offered a perfect escape for our family. Our toddlers loved the creek right outside where they played for hours. The cabin was beautifully furnished with a rustic charm and modern comfort. It had cozy living spaces ideal for relaxing after days exploring the outdoors. The well-equipped kitchen made family meals easy, and the bedrooms were super comfortable for restful nights. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and hospitable, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. Great stay, clean, private, great exercise walking, and parking for 5 or more vehicles was amazing. Listening to the creek was wonderful as well, i already miss it. We also slept well.

If you are looking for a private wilderness getaway in mountains, then this is it! This house is away from it all, yet close enough to do so much! We drove 20-40 min almost everyday to get to activities, but it was worth it! We played in waterfalls, explored caverns, and went down a lazy river tubing adventure! And on the day we stayed in, the kids played in the hot tub. The house has a fire pit and a terrific downstairs area for the kids. We cooked meals every night, and the grill was amazing! For people who to walk, the hike up driveway is phenomenal! Really. And it's hard to beat the view of mountain and all of that green! Plus the birds singing every morning AND the sound of the creek!? Terrific! Great house for privacy and nature and close enough to big adventures.
