My family had a wonderful time in Boone and in your cabin rental. Customer service was wonderful to work with from the start to end. The home itself was cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, building fires, and walking to the river. The beds were comfy and everyone had room to spread out. I have two suggestions, the first is to warm it up in the winter before guests come in, it took a while to get the home heated. Maybe possibly a heater in upstairs bedroom. Also, my mom is handicapped, she can walk but very little and no steps. The home would be 100% handicap accessible if the main floor shower was a walk-in....if ever you wanted to upgrade. 😉 But we loved the home, thank you for sharing it with us.

Enjoyed our stay at River Ridge. 4 stars because some things needed attention; grill was not working properly (It was replaced when we called.), freezer drain was dripping into the inside of refrigerator, and there was a small leak around cut off valve to toilet in upstairs bathroom, stove was quite old and could use replacing. We enjoyed the view from the upstairs bedroom. There were quilts in the closet but no warm blanket. Luckily I had brought my own because it was in the 30's at night. There was a cabin fairly close on each side which would have been too close but someone only stayed in one of the cabins one night. Blue Ridge Rentals was very responsive to our needs but I feel they could be more proactive on their preventative maintenance and the renters wouldn't have to call them. Overall the cabin was nice and restful for our rainy Fall getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin and would stay here again next time we visit the area. A nice very quit gated community in the mountains with only a 20 minute drive to downtown Boone. The hot tub was awesome to have along with the fireplace as it was snowing most of the time while there. On our way to town, we stopped by Bald Guy brew (10 min) from cabin. PHENOMENAL local coffee shop with great staff. We had everything needed to stay 3 nights here and the cabin made us feel right at home. Only complaint was, it was recommended to tip the housekeeper which wouldn’t have been an issue but we came across so many Cobb webs in all the rooms and for the cost I paid to stay, i’d expect a little better. Rest of cabin was clean and well prepared for our stay.

We had an absolute blast staying at the cabin at River Ridge. It was perfect for our laid back family. We were looking for something with charm and comfort and we found it here. Blue Mountain Rentals worked with us every step of the way making sure that we had everything that we needed. They were very personable and ever present in case we needed anything (which we didn't). It was a beautiful 20 minute drive into Boone and we explored the ski resorts nearby as well, which were a bit further but enjoyable drives. You definitely need AWD or 4 wheel drive in this area when it snows. Honestly, we could have stayed in the cabin the whole time we were there and been perfectly content. We ordered fire wood and it was ready upon arrival. Sitting around the fire and in the hot tub were my favorite things to do here. The cabin has such a homey, lived in feeling that we immediately relaxed and enjoyed the vibe. We would stay here again if we ever make it back!

We always go tot Tennessee for our Christmas Vacation with the family. This year we chose the Boone area! So glad we did. I was able to find this beautiful cabin, in a beautiful gated community ❤️ The pictures on the website does not do it justice! The home was absolutely beautiful and well taken care of! We have four children ages from 4-10 and they loved all the board games, hot tub, the fireplace, and just being able to see the beautiful view from the balcony. Thank you for a great stay!

This house was perfect for our long weekend! It's located in a great neighborhood close to Tweetsie and many other attractions in Boone. The hot tub was perfect and just the right size. The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely book this house again next year!

It was all just perfect. The road people need to put a Castle Ford road sign up off Hwy 194 cause we got lost missed the road went all the way to Todd.

The cabin is just as pictured in the listing. Eventho it was just the two of us that stayed, the cabin would have been spacious enough for our 3 teens and both fur kids to have enjoyed as well. The kitchen has plenty of cookware for whatever level of cooking you'd like to do. We were able to watch some wildlife near the cabin and enjoy morning on the back deck with beautiful views of the NC mountains. Close enough to downtown Boone, NC for dining and shopping.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away in Boone. We spent the weekend playing games and exploring the outdoors. The house was very clean and we were overall satisfied with the stocking of the kitchen with dishes/utensils/and spices. We brought our dogs, who enjoyed being able to explore the porch safely due to the baby gate across the stairs. The pet fee is $25 per dog per day. This was new to me. We also enjoyed the hot tub under the stars! I don't believe I have stayed in an airbnb that was managed by a rental company, they sent lots of emails, information, and contracts. That also comes with amenities if you want like grocery or firewood delivery. They do have an exterior camera to the front, so can tell how many cars/dogs you bring. Spending time on the back porch felt very private and scenic.

Wonderful, comfortable, pet friendly cabin. Hot tub was awesome. Kitchen has everything you could think of. We spent a day in Blowing Rock visiting the town and hiking the Glen Burney Falls trail. The 1.5 mile trail starts downtown and runs to a beautiful waterfall. We did the hike in January with our dogs and it was incredible.

ideal cabin for a larger group of people and/or family. very spacious and lot's of sleeping options. overall everything was really nice and as advertised. very convenient location and close to Boone. would definitely stay there again.
