Pete's Retreat was everything we hoped it would be. The house is located in a nice neighborhood in Seven Devils, NC, 10 minutes from Hawks Nest snow tubing resort. Great location. Pete's has a nice yard where the kids were able to play in the snow. The house had plenty of space for our party of 6. The only issue we had was the remote for the fireplace stopped working. We called the off hours help number on Saturday. The lady We spoke with was very helpful, sending us information that allowed us to turn the fireplace on manually, which was completely fine for us. I would certainly stay here again should we return to this area in the future. FYI, the TV in the upstairs bedroom should have a ROKU stick in it to make it usable. It did not appear to be a streaming TV as far as I could tell.

Great spot on the best side of Grandfather mountain. Would be good for a larger single family, as there is ample bedroom space.

This property was very clean when we arrived and it was stocked up well where we didnt need to buy a lot to be there comfortably. We had no problems at all with our stay and the kids enjoyed the kids room.
