Beautiful house, beautiful neighborhood, fantastic place to stay for our first time visiting the mountains of NC! The winery in the neighborhood, which was a super short walk from the house, was so lovely! Really appreciated the option to use the concierge grocery shopping so that groceries were stocked upon arrival! Property management company did a fantastic job of anticipating questions the guests may have and were very proactive in addressing them. For example sending via email ahead of time the list of gate codes, photo instructions for hot tub lock and lock to the front door.

Beautiful house, beautiful neighborhood, fantastic place to stay for our first time visiting the mountains of NC! Overlook Nook gets 5 STARS from me! We stayed here in May for a girls weekend and couldn't have been more pleased. Not only is the house immaculate, but the views and atmosphere are just stunning. The porch with the hot tub, fireplace, and tv were so nice and relaxing. We spent most nights out by the fire pit and relaxed. It was hard to leave and return back to normal life after spending a long weekend in paradise! Hope to see you soon!

Overlook Nook in Eagles Nest was absolutely PERFECT for my girls trip/birthday weekend in May 2023. The home is beautifully decorated and attention to little details all over the home is apparent…comfy beds and bedding, blankets everywhere, stocked kitchen, gas fireplaces, jewelry dishes, etc. Once we arrived to the house, we didn’t leave!! The winery is literally 300 yards away and a super easy walk. There is also an on site 24/7 grocery/dollar general for anything we forgot. Between the winery, outdoor living area with fireplace, fans & hot tub, and the onsite custom built fire pit - we had everything we needed. We enjoyed every minute at this property and will definitely be back. Thanks!

The cabin home was beautiful and extremely comfortable. There was great attention paid to the little things, like an abundance of blankets. The furnishings and everything definitely set us up for a very relaxing stay. The instructions and booking process were very informative and detailed.

We had an excellent time at the Overlook Nook! I grew up in that area and we like to visit family up there. Everything was perfect! We enjoyed the snow, and just had a wonderful time! It was our first time staying at Eagles nest. We definitely will book again!

Overlook Nook in the Eagle's Nest development of Banner Elk, NC is the perfect mountain home for a family vacation. My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend there in November. The home was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and had very comfortable beds and sofas. A large "shout out" to the owners for offering such a fantastic rental. We couldn't decide which was better sitting in the hot tub or snuggling on the sofa in front of the fireplace while watching TV on the deck. Next trip we will try the fire pit in the back yard. The views in the area are gorgeous and the drive up the mountain is picturesque. Another plus is the short walking distance to the winery. We give this mountain cabin 5 stars and we will certainly make reservations again for Overlook Nook!

We stayed at Overlook Nook the first weekend in November and it was my first time in Eagle's Nest. There are so many amenities and activities in this community, we were never bored. At Overlook Nook we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. We were literally 300 yards from the winery and a 5-7 minute walk to the north pavilion (they have a huge fire pit, basketball courts, soccer field, and serve breakfast and lunch). The covered back porch with the TV, fireplace, hot tub and grill is where we spent much of our time but the decor inside made the entire home feel so comfortable. The kids loved the bunk beds and loved seeing all of the wildlife throughout the community. We will definitely be back every year. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This is a hidden gem!
