We always love staying with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. They are excellent hosts and all of their properties are in great condition. Orchard House was no exception. From the beautiful interior, to the creek, the large porch, and hot tub, we loved this house and enjoyed every moment in it. Thank you for a great stay!

PROS: • Plenty of room for all 10 of us • Well-stocked kitchen with plenty of oils and spices • Great appliances and easy to host large meals • Excellent bedding, lots of extra pillows and blankets CONS: • Parking is VERY TRICKY -- 2 cars park comfortably near the house, but you must be really good at backing up along a curved 90 degree hill OR a 5-6 point turn to exit the driveway • SOS only -- so, don't plan to make any phone calls and only iMessage messages were able to send • The heat auto-adjusts down to 65 at midnight, so make sure your small children are bundled up • Not near any gas stations, grocery stores or restaurants -- so make sure you pack EVERYTHING you need or it's a 40-50 minute round trip drive to pick up something

The Orchard House was clean, beautiful, and had everything our family needed. The creek was great for the children; and so relaxing to listen to while sitting on the porch. The Valle Crucis park is great and was just down the road; and Tweetsie Railroad and restaurants were all within 23 minutes. The staff at Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals is always friendly, helpful, and just a pleasure to work with. We forgot our gr.daughters stuffed bunny when we checked out; and Stacy helped us retrieve it quickly. We highly recommend The Orchard House and Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals to everyone we know.😇

We loved our time at the Orchard House. Plenty of space for our family of four. The kitchen was perfect for cooking great meals. The highlight was the outdoor sofa/seating area where we relaxed, had our coffee and read. The creek is beautiful and enjoyed the family of deer that wandered through each evening, along with the fireflies and birds. We didn't want to leave! Thanks to the owners for making their beautiful property available to enjoy!

Great location and so convenient to Boone or Banner Elk. If want to visit the wineries, 15 mins to each of them. Great house and well furnished and great for grandkids to play in yard and stream. Very relaxing sitting on deck and listening to water.

My friends and I enjoyed staying at the Orchard House for a ski weekend with our families and had easy access to all the area slopes and hiking trails. We enjoyed all the inside and outside areas of the home including: Puzzling by the inside fire, TV watching outside by the outside fire and There was a constant rotation in the hot tub. Not to mention the kids played by the creekside. We enjoyed coffee and espresso and noticed how well equipped the kitchen was. We highly recommend the Orchard House!

Beautiful home in the mountains with everything we needed to relax and enjoy time with family. Very clean home with lots of space for family and little ones. Our kids are already asking to go back to the house and we just left!

I really enjoyed the house. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was beautiful. It was very spacious and I loved the fire place. The jacuzzi was amazing! I loved every single part of the home and plan on booking again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Orchard House. There was an excellent amount of space for two families, the kitchen was well-appointed, the entire house was super-clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was wonderful to be able to walk to the Orchard Falls hike and the kids loved spending time by the creek!

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at the Orchard House. The layout of the bedrooms provided privacy for individual couples, while the living areas were perfect for spending time together. The creek in the front yard was heaven for our three grandsons and the fireplace on the porch was a great place to watch football on a rainy day. Nearby trails provided great hiking and outdoor adventures, making it easy to keep our grandchildren entertained without having to venture out. We definitely plan to return!

We loved this house and would absolutely stay there again! We visited with our family and friends and the house was spacious while also cozy, relaxing and serene while still being fun and easily accessible. The creek and hot tub were a hit with the kids and the covered porch was a hit with the adults. It’s an awesome house!

We had the best time at this cabin in the woods. It was so cozy yet had plenty of room for the two families sharing it. The outdoor porch was AMAZING and the creek and hot tub were a big hit for the kiddos. It was awesome.

Great house. It's definitely recently been remodeled and if easily fit 2 families. The bunk beds have a trundle which in addition to the pull out couch, helped fit a lot of kids in one room. Everything was clean and worked well. We visited in January and couldn't get any food deliveries at night so had to drive to Boone, but I believe normally when there is no snow on the ground, there is a delivery service.

This house was wonderful overall. The set up Is great for a group that includes kids. Beds were comfortable, very nice appliances. The house was well stocked with cooking supplies and they have a very thorough binder of information about things to do in the area. We enjoyed the porch and fireplace and the kids loved playing in the creek. Our only complaint is that the property manager only provides one towel per person, which wasn’t ideal with a house full of kids. We called the property manager to ask for more towels but had no response. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend the house.

Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was a great company to work with! Most of my conversations were with Cindy, but everyone who answered the phone was awesome. When they emailed me two weeks before our trip to tell me that the driveway had deteriorated in the heavy rains the area had been having, they did not have a home for us and were going to refund what we had paid. But I called a few days later just to make sure that they didn't have a home for us, and there was one available - Orchard House. It was perfect for our family - great outdoor space, beautiful outdoor deck, wonderful creek below, great fireflies at night! Couldn't have been better for 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 babies. And great location - close to everything! I hope we return to this area of North Carolina. Thanks to the owners for having such a beautiful home!

Some animal had gotten into the garbage prior to our arrival. They immediately sent someone out to take care of it. Don't hesitate to book, it's beautiful!
