On Easy Street

I stayed here with my family of four and invited my friend and her kids from VA to enjoy the mountains with us for a long weekend. From our kids' perspective (age range 5-11) this mountain getaway absolutely delivered. They had games available to help entertain and lots of spaces for hide and seek. They enjoyed exploring the small trail behind the house and spent hours by the creek despite the cold (it was in February!). From the adults' side, we loved the easy location to convenient shops and restaurants but we also enjoyed the way the house is situated as it backed into the woods. There were helpful labels on the light switches and locations of items behind cupboards. The rental came with starter toiletries and household must haves (detergent for the washer, etc). The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we could want to cook our meals and then some! The WiFi worked great and accommodated our needs. There was a binder with a ton of recommendations and instructions. And this might not be a bid deal, but it's great to have enough TOWELS (bath, kitchen, hot tub, etc) for all the people the rental accommodates! The house itself was great! There was a lot of space and yet it still maintained a cozy atmosphere. Each bedroom was large, with a place to lounge and chat—almost like a small sitting room. One of the comments my friend made while staying there is that house looked well-loved and she wasn't sure she would have been able to rent it to outsiders if it were hers. So absolutely thank you for sharing this space with us. We didn't bring our dogs for this trip, but I loved that there is also something for our canine family had we chosen to bring them. There were dog bowls available and a dog pick up station with doggie bags outside!

Staying at On Easy Street was such a great experience. The convenience to Boone all the local amenities was certainly a strong point. The home was appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the hot tub which provided a relaxing place to wind down for the evening. The service was top notch and we appreciate the communication with Blue Ridge Rentals to make sure we had what we needed during our stay. Certainly On Easy Street is a home we would return to.

What a wonderful home on Easy Street in Boone! It was perfect for being close to nearby family and enjoying a beautiful Thanksgiving together. The home was immaculate, filled with special welcoming touches and a notebook with clear instructions. (All the light switches are labeled which is so thoughtful!) The view is lovely and the deck and yard are perfect. There is even a dog waste station in the backyard! The house is in a peaceful, private area but is close enough to Boone to get groceries and food delivered. The best of both worlds! Thank you for a terrific holiday stay in the mountains!!

We stayed at this house to give our App State freshmen a refresh. She loved cooking in the kitchen and lounging on the couch and spreading out in her own bed. The house was perfect for that.

Whether you're looking for a quiet getaway or a stepping stone to the Blue Ridge Parkway and its many vistas and trails, Easy Street delivers both. A place to sit quietly, enjoying nature while relaxing in the hot tub after a good day's hike. Our short time on Easy Street was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives; allowing us to wake up late and lazily contemplate which hike we'll do....once we finish our coffee. We can't wait to return, not only to explore more of the Blue Ridge Parkway, but also its nearby trails; enough to earn our relaxation time in the hot tub. While it was just the two of us on this trip, we can't wait to bring friends and family to our new escape! We're already planning and looking forward to our next visit!

We vacationed here with our children 14 years ago. Came back to re-visit some of our favorite spots with our youngest son who is now 21 and our daughter 23, and share it with her husband (of only 4 months!) We had a hard time finding a pet friendly home with 3 adult sized beds, but so happy we found this gem! It is the perfect place for adult children with the game room including darts and foosball and the hot tub right outside! Perfect! So many nice touches! We really appreciated the small toiletry bags, the small supply of tp, papertowels, detergents…so convenient and the Girl Scout cookies! Yum! That was a real treat!

1 Easy Escape was the perfect stay for our trip to the mountains! The location of the cabin was a huge perk, it was an easy 10-15 minute drive to Boone and Blowing Rock – the proximity makes it very easy to explore all that the region has to offer. The cabin itself was very clean and wonderfully appointed, making our stay very comfortable and relaxing. Most notably, we really enjoyed the hot tub and large back porch, the outdoor spaces were fantastic. The hosts provide everything you need to really feel at home. We would highly recommend staying at this cabin on your next trip to the Boone area.
