Very good location to Blowing Rock and Boone! Came primarily to go to Tweetsie Railroad which was a short drive away. The home was the perfect size for my family to stay for a weekend away and had everything we needed!

Great place to stay with a superb view off the decks. Easy to get to Blowing Rock, Boone, and tons of hiking. Well appointed kitchen and did I mention the view? The spiral staircase going to the loft and basement is tight, so anyone with mobility issues might want to plan on only using the main level.

On Any Sunday was cozy but large enough for our family of 9. The pool table was a hit and the sleeping arrangements accommodated our group. We loved the location and the views. This is an older home but the number of bathrooms are adequate and they were updated. The kitchen was well equipped.

Had a great time in Blowing Rock. Blue Ridge had friendly staff, was responsive and accommodating to our questions and needs. I would feel comfortable staying at one of their properties again. We came in Jan and enjoyed skiing and the quaint town. Location was easy to find and everything we did was within 20 mins. Definitely felt safest in 4WD vehicle in the winter - although roads were maintained, Blowing Rock is truly up in the mountains with some steep streets & sometimes harsh weather. The view of the mountains from the deck was incredible. The Place is just as it looks in the listing & was plenty spacious for our mixed group of adults, teen, toddler & baby. We brought a baby gate, which was crucial to block our toddler's access to the spiral staircase. Bathrooms were updated, beds were comfortable & the place was clean. Enough linens and towels were provided. The house was warm despite low temperatures. The driveway was large enough to fit our 3 pickup trucks.

I liked the location of this house. We wanted to take the kids to Tweetsie Railroad and this house was just a short drive away. It was close enough to downtown without being right on top over everyone. It was also a very spacious house. Perfect for a big group.

Solid. House could use a deep cleaning sometime but overall pretty good. basement baseboard heaters could not be turned off and was way too hot, and rental company is a little stingy on supplies. Fantastic location and stunning views. Recommended.

Our trip to hawksnest was cancelled due to high winds but we still managed to find some fun! House was great and we loved being able to bring our dog! It was very close to downtown blowing rock yet was in a quiet neighborhood. We had a surprisingly fun time at mystery hill and found enough snow on the sledding hill in Chetola for the kids to have some fun! The pool table and dart board were great for entertainment there at the house! We would stay here again!

I really liked this place. The view is amazing, and the place is super cozy and cabin. There are two sitting/hanging out areas, which is handy for a family. We played a lot of pool too. Heads up for potential renters, the only stairs in the place are spiral stairs -- which are fine by me, but might be tricky for some. (But there are two bedrooms on the main floor, so no stairs needed.) The kitchen was well equipped, and should you be in a game playing mood, there plenty to choose from.

Overall, the house was very comfortable and well equipped for 6 adults. The porch has amazing views.
Downsides:
The spiral staircase to get up and down is a little challenging for the knees and anyone over 6ft tall.
The only negative would be that the kitchen light strobes when on the brightest setting, almost to the point of seizure inducing.

Great views and the rec room downstairs is excellent. The house stays plenty warm in the winter and you can access the property with 4x4 (we did not need chains). The drive to hawks nest/beech/downtown blowing rock are not too far and scenic.

Beautiful views and a very peaceful vibe! A great alternative to a hot beach vacation. The town was absolutely adorable and I would definitely visit over and over.

We loved our stay at “on any Sunday!”
The view was absolutely amazing. I could sit on that porch for hours and hours. Six great big comfortable rocking chairs. The mist, the breeze and the sunset we're out of this world. Every time I looked up from my book I saw a different view because the light was always shifting among the clouds highlighting those blue ridge mountains. My teenage kids regularly commented with astonishment that we couldn't see any other civilization from the porch. I felt like we were all alone amidst a huge wilderness but we were just minutes away from the good restaurants in blowing rock.
We did a lot of bike riding, hiking, rock climbing and splashing in the waterfalls on this trip. The rock climbing shop in Boone did a really amazing full day trip for us.
All of the beds seemed brand new and very comfortable.
I loved the big screen doors downstairs so that I could keep them open at night while I slept.
My family had a good time with the dartboard and the pool table. The downstairs nook for watching TV was really fun for late night movies.
The couches were very comfortable for lounging and I loved the great big long table in the dining room.
The kitchen is very well-stocked. I'm usually disappointed in the quality of the kitchen gear when I travel because I like to cook. there was even a large set of fine German knives that were well sharpened.
I really can't imagine a better spot!
