This was our second time using Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals and they were just the absolute best. Leading up to our stay we had multiple communications sent to us regarding our stay, check in process, etc. they were quick to reply in all of my communications back to them as well.
We stayed in Mountaineer Manor and I hope the owner sees this. It was an absolutely beautiful property with the most amazing views. Walking in on our first day we felt right at home. The cabin is cozy and decorated to feel like you are at home and not in a vacation rental. They had the cabin equipped with everything we needed and it was clean! We would stay here again and I would use Blue Ridge Rentals again.

I loved the layout of Mountaineer Manor. There was plenty of room for the family to gather as well as have quiet time. My favorite was the downstairs game room. The location was perfect. It was very quiet yet close to lots of sites. We will be back.

This place was peaceful and beautiful. The home had everything we needed to have a relaxing family retreat. The NC weather was perfect and always changing. We enjoyed some days in the lower 60s then saw some snow too. There was plenty to do around the house. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy cooked family meals. The kids loved the downstairs area with pool table and games. The dogs even had a great place to run around and enjoy the great outdoors. The location was great. There were stores and restaurants close by. Couldn't have asked for a better place. Would love to return. The people at Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals were amazing and prompt to assist us with our needs.

The home was lovely and full of all the comforts you could want including a well stocked kitchen and cozy rooms. The yard is a steep slope but fully fenced in. The patio is lovely for a small fire at night. The location would be ideal if it weren’t for noise from the neighbors like leaf blowers, otherwise serene. One recommendation is to remove the “hot tub” from this one’s amenities as there is only a large tub in the loft bath (no jets), and no outdoor hot tub either, otherwise the home was lovely. Owner was extremely dog friendly and accommodating of our multiple dog household, great location for pups!

Beautifully decorated and very clean. The game room downstairs was very cool as well. The only downsides are that the master bedroom is an open loft area and the closet is at the top of the stairs so there’s not much privacy. The view is nice although so tall trees cut off the bottom of the long range view but still very pretty.

We had three families with kids ranging from 3-7. The basement was a great space for the kids to play while the adults enjoyed the pool table and outdoor fire pit. The kitchen had more than enough dishes, pots/pans, bowls, etc. to make it easy to prep for meals. We could only find 8 bath towels, even though there were 10 of us. We just washed them after we used them with laundry detergent was provided. This in NO way was an issue for us. The loft bedroom on the 3rd floor got a little noisy in the morning when everyone started to wake up and move around. I don’t recommend this room for a light sleeper. The other three bedrooms were quiet. The yard was mostly a hill, to be expected in the mountains, so they kids had to play in the driveway. Again, this didn’t have an impact on our trip. We had a great time and would definitely book this house again. Great for groups, multiple families, children, everyone!

It is a beautiful cabin with a beautiful view. The only problem we had, the host(a management company, not a person) not responsive at all. One of the bedrooms is in the basement level and it was very cold there. There was no temperature control panel at that level or at least we couldn't find it. The guests that were supposed to stay in that bedroom had a very bad experience. It was very cold for them for their stay. We contacted the number provided but nobody ever got back to us. Also the hot tub exists but does not come on. Again, I left a message but nobody called me back. One lazy text message to my phone asking if someone got back with us to fix the problem, I replied no and that was our entire conversation.

This was an awesome house to stay at! The only thing that was a surprise was that there was no ice maker in the fridge so we didn’t have ice in the otherwise very well stocked kitchen. There were lots of great touches like marshmallow sticks for the fire pit, tons of kitchen supplies, good wifi, an amazing view, and nice decorations throughout the home. There was some dog hair on the couch pillows, but overall the house was very clean and we would gladly come back and stay!

Love this spacious home. My only negative comment is that the master bedroom is more of a loft and is not closed in completely. So if you are trying to sleep in and others are not, it gets noisy. Property is close enough to amenities but still feels secluded and very private. The kids had a great time exploring the outdoors and the yard. Very clean! Gorgeous wood throughout. We will definitely go back!

What a beautiful cabin! It had everything we needed and more as the basement is filled with fun things for everyone. We spent alot of our time on the porch soaking in the sun and the view. If we were really quiet deer would visit the front lawn of the cabin. My family and I all agree we would come back again.

Gorgeous home in great condition, with quality decor, quality linens, nice amenities and well-supplied with plenty of smart TVs, games, books, French press, grinder, AND Keurig, all the dishes, utensils, and spices you could want. Stayed over Memorial Day weekend with my husband, his mom, and our two teens. Could have accommodated at least one more couple comfortably and still had a futon to spare. The dogs loved the large fenced yard, we loved the fire pit with supplied weenie-roasting and s'mores sticks. It was VERY private while being close to the Mast General store and not terribly far from the grocery store in Boone. Only wish it was bigger so I could bring the whole extended family next year!

We had a wonderful time staying at Mounaineer Manor. Very beautiful and clean- plenty of room for our family of 5. The views and the fireplace were just perfect. We even enjoyed the Sonos sound system throughout the home. Plenty of essential necessities- just bring your food and your all set.
The dryer didn’t work very well- so trying to do our laundry before leaving was a bit of a drawn out process. Other than that the house was great!

We came from the SC Lowcountry up the NC High Country and couldn't have asked for more in the rental property. The house is modern and well-furnished. We had an amazing stay! The cabin was amazing and the view breathtaking! Everything was so clean and looked brand new! The kitchen was so well stocked with pots, pans, kitchen gear, and even tons of spices that we actually enjoyed cooking on our nights in! The cabin was spotless and stocked with tons of cleaning supplies & equipment. This was a huge relief when trying to get out of our safe space to change the scenery and still be safe during these crazy covid times. Even the library in the game room had a great vast collection for any book lover! When we called maintenance/housekeeping for a couple of minor things, the response was almost immediate like they were a few blocks away each time! We were sad to leave and hope to come back soon!! Highly recommend!!!

The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We had a couple inches of snow and ice upon arrival- which we expected. What we didn’t expect was the need to have tire chains to get up to the house. We were warned if the need for 4WD- which we had- but you aren’t getting to the house without chains if there has been ice. We found a plow truck got to take pity on us and buy us some to get up the driveway. We didn’t leave the property the rest of the trip for fear we couldn’t get back up. Good place to be stuck inside for days- but that wasn’t our plan. Have chains appropriate for your truck and you’ll be fine. Lovely location and house.

There is a separate fenced portion of yard for your four legged friends to get some running done in. Overall, extremely spacious and lots to do in the area.

Loved the home and would definitely consider it again when vacationing in the area. The property grounds was well manicured and the home was well kept. Very functional layout and plenty to keep the group entertained if you decide to stay indoors instead of venturing out.

Gorgeous house and perfect location, it has many routes to access the Cabin. Pictures don't make it justice, the house is 100 times better in person. The cabin was spotless when we arrived, and everything you need from cups to pans. It was a true home away from home. The host is very helpful and will make sure you enjoy your stay! ***Be aware if planning to go in the Winter AWD or 4X4 is a must*** My family will definitely be back to this cozy and beautiful home with breathtaking scenery.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very private, easy to get around, nice views, nice styling in the house, and plenty of room. The fenced in yard is especially great if you have dogs or want the kids to run around. No pictures of it in AirBnB, but really nice. Blue Ridge Rentals also communicated well and everything was easy to get in.
Because it is a bit further from the towns, we only realized at the end that there is a Boone delivery company that delivers food from almost every restaurant. Big benefit to not have to drive to town, saves you over 40 minutes there and back.
Again, really enjoyed our time there.

We enjoyed Christmas 🎄 here. It is a beautiful home. The beds are comfortable and the view is beautiful thru huge windows. It's close to Boone, Blowing Rock abd Banner Elk. I'd definitely come back.

The house was the best we have ever used in the 10+ years we've been going to that area. It has a very nice kitchen and a great family area. With the full basement floor, there was plenty of space to spread out. The sunrise views were spectacular!
