Luxurious Bedrooms: The five beautifully appointed bedrooms, including a lavish master suite, offer ample space and tranquility for restful nights. Wake up to the calming sounds of the creek or step onto the balcony to savor your morning coffee.

Outdoor Living at Its Best: Multiple decks and outdoor spaces provide ample room for al fresco dining, relaxation, and enjoying the stunning mountain vistas.

Surrounding area: Banner Elk is known for its year-round recreation. Whether you seek winter sports, hiking, biking, or exploring charming shops and restaurants, this location offers it all.

Moosey Creek Lodge is a 2 minute drive to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, a 3 minute drive to the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, an 8 minute drive to downtown Banner Elk, a 10-15 minute drive to Banner Elk Winery or Grandfather Mountain Winery, a 15 minute drive to the nearest Blue Ridge Parkway access which offers gorgeous mountain views and overlooks, a 20 minute drive to Beech Mountain Ski Resort, a 20 minute drive to Grandfather Mountain's Mile High Swinging Bridge, a 20 minute drive to the famous Linn Cove Viaduct, and a 25 minute drive to the bustling downtown Boone. 

Additional Notes:
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Please note the homeowners use an exterior camera facing the street. No other cameras are pointed at the home or at any of the common areas. 
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. 
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- This property is NOT pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home. 
- AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months. The main road leading to this home is paved with moderate incline. 
- Parking for a maximum of 6 vehicles.
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am

Clean and well maintained

Home was very roomy! Plenty of room for all 13 of us. Had a great creek and fireplace for tranquility. Very close to slopes for easy drop off and pick up of family at slopes. Some issues with AC / heat downstairs but property manager sent someone right over. 1 bed was broken, no electrical on one side of bedroom wall for TV, cushions on outdoor patio left out so not useable.

The cabin was clean and beautiful. It was an easy check-in and out. Very close to the mountain for skiing!

Our stay was amazing!! This house is super accommodating for a couple families with kids. The stream with waterfalls in the backyard besides all other amenities made this wonderful. Would definitely consider returning here! So close to an incredible amount of things to do and see, too. Grandfather Mountain Vineyard (cooler than you probably are imagining and super family friendly), Grandfather Mountain's mile-high swinging bridge, Sugar Creek gem mining (seemed pricey at first but then ended up very worth it), Upper Creek Falls, endless other hiking options, and then the several classic cute mountain towns nearby. Side notes: The listing does detail this, but there are no spices supplied at this house for cooking. Also, if you're more into “green” products, then you'll want to bring or buy your own dish/dishwasher soaps and laundry detergent.

The house was exactly as depicted in the listing, is situated on a gorgeous little creek, and was as close to the ski resort as we had hoped. It was a wonderful spot to spend time with family and friends!

We had a fantastic stay at Moosey Creek Lodge! 5 adults and 4 young children all accommodated very comfortably and happily. The Moosey Creek Lodge is so conveniently located close to Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain Resort, Banner Elk dining, Beech Mountain Skiing and everything you need to have a wonderful family vacation. Our trip exceeded all of our expectations! If you have kids, the bunk beds and separate downstairs TV room are perfect for them. Mossy Creek runs right behind the home and the large fire ring was also a big hit. Thank you Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals for making our New Year 2024 vacation a magical 5 days at Moosey Creek Lodge! We will be back.
