Beautiful cabin in a gorgeous neighborhood. Enjoyed the hot tub and well equipped kitchen. There were deer outside the dining room every evening!

Lovely cabin in a beautiful peaceful setting! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table!! We had an issue with the pool sticks but the management company was very quick to fix it!! Beds were comfy and water pressure was great!! We had a wonderful experience!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for a few nights. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked for cooking and entertainment. The covered porch allowed us to enjoy the outdoors, rain and shine. We hope to visit again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

This home was beautiful and perfect for a larger group of adults with four bedrooms with queen and king size beds. Felt very cozy and "home away from home"-like, plenty of kitchen necessities for cooking meals at home, and felt like a true getaway but was conveniently located near downtown Boone. Would definitely recommend!

My family (including our grand-dogs) stayed at Moose Preserve to celebrate my husband's 55th birthday and so much fun and fellowship was enjoyed by all! We loved the roominess and coziness of the house, the pool table, arcade game and hot tub, but mostly we loved cooking together in the well stocked kitchen and spending time together. The grand-dogs loved being able to hang out on the porch since there's a gate for the stairs. We highly recommend Moose Preserve and will stay again next time we are in Boone!

Great views , very quiet location. Lots of wildlife roam the yards, loved the ground hog under the hot tub, the cabin is easy to get to and it cost less if bypass vrbo and deal directly through blue ridge cabin rentals, we were able to get an extra day while visiting the office in boone.

My wife and I were looking for the perfect spot to fulfill a week long retreat in the mountains with the family... and boy did we find one! Moose Preserve is nestled near the peaks of a tiny neighborhood in Sugar Grove, NC. Home to the General Mast Store and other old town keepsakes, Sugar Grove is only about a 15-20 minute drive from all the local resorts, downtown areas of Boone and Banner Elk, and minutes from dozens of local hiking trails. We were looking to find a place, away from crowded areas but close enough if we needed something... and this place was perfect. Moose Preserve checked every box we could possibly find to fit the family checklist... plenty of space for a family of 5 (plus a furry four-legged kid), amenities to keep the kids busy while we chilled on the patio or cooked a meal, fireplaces and pits inside and out, views of mountain tops right from the bedrooms, close enough to our activity spots but far enough to feel like we actually got away, and a cabin that felt like you were hanging with Aunt Betty out in the hills. Even though the place is owned by a corporate entity, it didn't appear to be... very well kept and attention to details were key. If we truely forced to find something negative to say about the place, you can hear a fart in top floor from the basement (for those who have never stayed in a log cabin). As long as you don't have family members that saw logs at night, you'll be just fine. And if so, they can sleep with the bears.

Booked this house as a family getaway and it was just what we needed. There were 8 of us, 6 adults and 2 babies. There was plenty of room for us so that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. We loved the pool table and the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed.

This home was absolutely beautiful & the view is astonishing ! We chose to stay here over Christmas it was gorgeous with snow all around us, it was everything we could have asked for. The home is very spacious for a large number of guest and the hot tub was a plus even in -10 degree weather. We definitely will stay here again really soon!

This cabin and the property is one of the most tranquil places I've been fortunate enough to experience. We thoroughly enjoyed just being able to unwind and truly relax. The fact that we felt far away from everything without actually having to travel far to stores was so ideal. We felt tucked away in our own little piece of solitude; it's absolutely perfect. Seeing deer pass by almost daily was so awesome. We truly love this cabin and are sad we can't stay forever. We hope the next guests enjoy it just as much... it's such a magical place. I'm happy it's forever a part of our journey as a couple. :)

This cabin and the property is one of the most tranquil places I've been fortunate enough to experience. We thoroughly enjoyed just being able to unwind and truly relax. The fact that we felt far away from everything without actually having to travel far to stores was so ideal. We felt tucked away in our own little piece of solitude, it was absolutely perfect. The weather was cold and perfect but warmed up enough to allow outdoor exploring. We explored Boone, shopped at local small shops & businesses, and ate good food. We went on a hike, enjoyed the hot tub, made fires & smores, played pool, enjoyed watchin the deer out back nearly every day - AND WE GOT ENGAGED!!! All of the trip was perfect, especially the cabin. We are sad we can't stay forever, but we hope the next guests enjoy it just as much. Of course leaving here engaged to my best friend and love of my life is a special highlight and I'm happy this cabin is a part of our journey as a couple!

Perfect! It was snowing as we arrived. We loved the fireplace, playing trivia, and enjoyed dinner at Stonewalls and gem mining at Docs Rocks. Really fun 13th Birthday trip!

We loved the fireplace and the kitchen had so much! Had good family time. We went skiing at Beech Mountain and loved the Best Cellar for dinner in Blowing Rock. The house is beautiful. The space was great for 3 families. We were reasonably close to Beech Mountain. Thank you!

The cabin is cozy and makes you feel at home within seconds. The fire pit outside is perfect for making s'mores. Plus the area is full of wildlife. Overall very peaceful and would love to stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our time here at Moose Preserve. The campfire was awesome, and the location was near everything. The bedrooms were super roomy, and the living room was very cozy. We recommend using the indoor fireplace for sure. Great times here spent with family. We will definitely rent again.

Had such an AMAZING time exploring Boone and it's surrounding area. It was so great to come "home" to relax after a long day of exploring! Your cabin has breathtaking views and it's so quiet!! Saw the neighbor at the bottom of the hill only once and the only sounds we heard came from nature! It was GREAT! I can't think of anything more perfect for rest and relaxation. Will return again! Thank you!
