Welcome to Luxe Mountain Haven in beautiful Fleetwood, NC! Just minutes from West Jefferson and 20 minutes from Boone, this stunning 4-bedroom retreat offers the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and fun for the whole group—whether you're gathering for a family vacation, a friends' getaway, or simply escaping to the mountains for peace and relaxation. Come enjoy the sweeping mountain views, soak in the private hot tub under the stars, and make lasting memories in the game loft packed with entertainment for all ages. 

If you want to enjoy all that the mountains have to offer, you'll need to go off pavement. Luxe Mountain Haven is accessed by a very steep gravel road. 4WD or AWD vehicles are absolutely required year-round, and during winter months, chains may also be necessary. There is a garage with room for 2 cars, and room to park vehicles outside as needed.

Main Floor – Gathering & Private Rooms

As you step inside, you’re greeted by a grand open-concept great room with soaring vaulted ceilings and a dramatic two-story stone fireplace with gas logs.  Plush, inviting seating surrounds the hearth, creating the perfect space to unwind after a day of adventure or gather together for a cozy movie night.

Seamlessly connected in the great room is a fully-equipped chef’s kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, and a walk-in pantry. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials and ready for anything from big holiday meals to casual snacks. Gather at the large dining table with seating for 10, or enjoy a quick bite at the kitchen island with stools for 4.

The main level offers three inviting bedrooms, including a luxurious primary suite designed for ultimate relaxation. This serene suite features an inviting queen bed and a foot massager to get comfortable after a day of exploring the outdoors.  Each bedroom is equipped with a smart TV, giving every guest a private space to unwind with their favorite shows or movies at the end of the day, and the spa-inspired ensuite bathroom boasts a soaking tub, double vanity, and a custom tile shower, while a spacious walk-in closet provides plenty of room for longer stays.

On the opposite side of the home, you'll find two beautifully appointed bedrooms, each featuring a comfortable queen bed and a private flat-screen TV, offering a quiet retreat for rest and relaxation. These rooms share a spacious and well-designed hall bathroom, complete with double vanities and a shower/tub combo—perfect for couples, friends, or family.

Also on the main floor, you'll find a dedicated private office, offering a quiet and comfortable space for remote work, reading, or catching up on emails. With a spacious desk and inviting seating, it’s easy to stay productive—even while surrounded by mountain views. Just steps away, a fully equipped mudroom and laundry area adds extra convenience, making it simple to stay organized—especially after a day spent hiking, exploring, or enjoying the outdoors.

Upstairs Loft & Bunk Room Fun

Head upstairs to the loft, thoughtfully designed for all-ages fun and friendly competition. Challenge your crew to a game of ping pong, foosball, shuffle board or the basketball shoot-out, or dive into retro gaming on the vintage-style arcade cabinet, featuring classics like Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Man Plus, and Galaxian—a guaranteed crowd-pleaser for kids and nostalgic adults alike. A rustic upcycled barrel table offers the perfect spot for card games, puzzles, or late-night laughs.

Just off the loft, you'll find the spacious and lively bunk room, a favorite hangout for kids and teens. It features a twin-over-full bunk, a twin bed with a twin trundle, a full bed, futon, bean bag chairs, and a TV—creating a cozy, playful space with plenty of room to spread out, lounge, and make memories. Whether it’s sleepover-style fun, movie marathons, or quiet playtime, this room is set up for it all.

Outdoor Living at Its Finest

After such a grand interior, the outdoor offerings will continue to impress. Step out to the vaulted screened-in porch, complete with a stone fireplace with gas logs, comfortable seating, and a dining table perfect for meals with a breeze. Just off from the screened porch, you'll find a brand-new hot tub - ideal for stargazing or soothing sore muscles after a day of adventure.

A fire pit area with Adirondack chairs and a picnic table sets the stage for s’mores, stories, and unforgettable evenings under the stars. On the opposite side of the home, the front deck offers breathtaking mountain views, with additional seating to enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine. The flat grassy lawn below is a camper’s dream.  For a more grounding experience with the mountains and woods, guests are welcome to bring their camping gear and pitch a tent right on the property or bring your fishing gear and cast a line into the private pond.  No license is needed for the pond, but remember to get your NC fishing license if you’re going to fish the local rivers.

The High Country is spotted with fantastic hiking trails, but guests are welcome—and encouraged—to hike and explore the 12+ wooded acres surrounding the home. Wander through the peaceful forest paths, soak in the fresh mountain air, and enjoy the quiet beauty of nature without ever leaving the property. Whether you're out for a morning stroll or an afternoon adventure, this private slice of the mountains is yours to enjoy.

Enjoy a sunny day on the New River using Zaloo's Canoes, Kayaks, and Tubes. Public put-in locations are nearby, as well for those bringing their own kayaks! 

Additional Notes:
- This home is pet-friendly and allows one mature, well-trained dog per reservation with an additional pet rent of $25 per night.
- A level 1 EV charger is available for guest use.
- The property is accessed via a steep gravel driveway that has sharp turns.  4WD or AWD is required year-round, and Chains may be required in times of snow.  Please make sure you come prepared with the proper vehicle, as refunds can not be issued due to inadequate transportation.
- We'd love to have you stay with us again.  If you have stayed at Luxe Mountain Haven in the past and are planning another visit, be sure to book over the phone with our reservations team for 10% off the room rate for your next stay.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo,  conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. Towels, a hair dryer and linens will be provided.  
- Check in is after 4pm and Check out is by 10am EST
- Firewood for the outdoor fire pit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax.

CANCELLATION POLICY -
Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
