It's located in a perfect location close to Boone and Blowing Rock, but removed enough to feel detached from city life. Modern and comfortable home, amazing beds, a very well equipped for cooking and dining, although no formal dining set inside, the counter stools were very comfortable. The fireplace and living room floor-to-ceiling windows are the masterpiece of this home!

We had a wonderful stay at this secluded house nestled in the mountains. The views are truly spectacular, especially during fall. Just a heads-up: the road leading to the property is unpaved and can be quite steep in sections. I'd absolutely recommend bringing chains if you're visiting during winter—getting here without them could be dangerous. The cabin itself was spotless and comfortable. One thing to note is the charcoal barbecue grill: it's very small (old but functional), with space for only about two steaks at a time. If you're planning to grill for a group, you'll want to plan your meals accordingly.

How can I give more than 5 stars?? This place was breathtaking!!! Pictures didn’t do this place justice, so I know my words won’t.. from the fully stocked kitchen to the squeaky clean rooms, to the most stunning view I’ve ever seen…. This place is a masterpiece!
Communication was top tier. On arrival, we noticed they forgot to leave our logs for our fire that we’d paid for in advance. Within hours, the logs were dropped off right to our doorstep. We made smores and brought our own metal smores sticks. Bring that was one of the things the Airbnb didn’t have, We decided to leave our metal smores sticks for other guest to enjoy in the future.
Kitchen had top notch cooking pots, pans, dishes, and seasonings. Bring your own paper towels though as they only provide you with one roll regardless how long your stay is.

I stayed at 919 lost ridge this past few days. Lost ridge was a stunning and beautiful place. The views were as advertised if not better. I highly recommend this location and I will absolutely come back in the future.
Recommendations for guest:
- if you stay here I HIGHLY recommend that you have a vehicle that has 4WD. The roads turn into dirt trails and can get pretty steep.
- There are plenty of cooking ware so don’t feel pressured to bring any. There is also plenty of seasonings and cleaning supplies there. The staff really thought of the small things. There is a washer and dryer so it may be wise to bring some laundry detergent of your liking.
Recommendations for Blue Ridge Rentals:
- Only thing I would recommend for the company is to ensure to send the gate code when sending out the door code as well. I am sure, I am a one off that I didn’t receive the gate code upon checking in. However the customer service was quick and easy. Thank you to the staff for everything.

The house is beautiful. It is very secluded which is what I wanted. Very peaceful. The views are amazing. I loved sitting outside and just enjoying the view. The house had everything I needed. I do not think I’ve slept in a more comfortable bed!
As the description states, this is on a mountain and the road to it is gravel. An SUV will not have any issues. If you are in a low car, just know it’s a gravel road.
The nearest town is Boone so bring your needed groceries. I enjoyed cooking a breakfast every morning a dinner at night. I did go hiking every day in either Boone/Blowing Rock or the Linville area. The Linville area was more than an hour away but I knew this when I booked this house. I love driving on the blue ridge parkway so it was perfect. I will definitely stay in this house again. The views and the peace and quiet was absolutely amazing. Also, the collection of albums there was great! The books were also fun. Every simple detail just added to the charm of this house.

We stayed for 10 days during our Christmas. This was a place to disconnect, reflect and regenerate. The house was very beautiful outside and inside, the fireplace was amazing, the heated floor was great and the view (pictures don't do justice) was breath taking. When I stayed at the house I would sit hours just looking at the horizon and seeing the clouds roll by the quiet majestic mountains. My family misses this home away from home and they want to come back. Words of warning you do need a AWD or 4X4 to get to this place but it's worth it.

Beautiful home. If you love solitude and privacy with amazing views in the mountains, this home is hard to beat. The view during Sunrise is spectacular. Only downside is the drive to and from - expect a good 45-50 min drive to any nearby restaurants or grocery stores.

This place was amazing and a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. Secluded from all the stress. It was quite a journey going up all that unpaved roads, but we were well warned in advanced to come in a 4x4 or 4wd and that’s what we did and it was fine. We gave all 5 stars because of the amazing time we had overall, the cabin is beautiful and has everything you need, however i will mention some inconveniences that we experienced, first, there is a gate that requires a code and it was not given to us in the check in instructions, nor were we warned about it, and when we tried calling, to get it we didn’t have signal at the gate and was not even able to turn around or back up due to it being an extremely narrow unpaved road on a mountain, so we waited until we were able to get 1 bar if signal so we could call blue ridge and get the code, finally got it. Another thing that was unfortunate is a bad sewage smell coming from the sink drain. Wifi was weak phone was good

My husband and I booked the cabin on a whim for a relaxing getaway and could not be more satisfied with our experience! The cabin was so cozy and functional with beautiful views! We loved how stocked the kitchen was. It allowed us to bring all of our food and cook for ourselves without having to leave the cabin. We will definitely be repeat customers!

We cannot say enough about this Airbnb stay! It was a surprise to my husband for his bday and our anniversary. I'm the beach person in the family, but he loves this type of nature and peacefulness. I'll have to say, with this place, I was converted. 1-Super easy to get to. You are advised to follow their printed directions, but I kept AppleMaps open and turn for turn, we got there exactly like the app told us. 2-It is “off the grid” if you want it to be, but the Wi-Fi was pretty good. We just needed it for conversing with our family back home, but the provided TV wasn't turned on once. 3-The king size bed was like a luxury resort. The linens and ambience were fabulous. 4-The kitchen is STOCKED. Crate & Barrel and every appliance you could need and more. 5-We finally found a place we'd want to return, year after year. On his bday, we even had a bear join us! It was so cool to watch him thru the windows. 6-The owner thought of EVERYTHING. We wouldn't change a thing!

The place absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. It was very peaceful and serene. The roads are steep in a few places. The only problem I had with the place was upon arrival and the 2nd day we had problems with the lock as my code would not work. Spent 15-20 minutes trying to get into the house even with the help of someone from Blue Ridge. The sheets had hair and a few stains on them and there were dead wasps in a few places in the house and one that was alive in the bedroom. Other than that our trip was still nice.

If you are seeking peace and solitude this is the place. Modern decor and beautifully equipped with everything you will need. Internet was a challenge but doable with a personal hotspot. It is as noted: on a back road deep in the mountains- 35 minutes to town with the drive on some very rural and rough roads so be prepared. You will not find a more beautiful view or a more peaceful setting than here. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved this place. Came for a birthday getaway with my partner and it was amazing. The view was insane and despite the bugs flying about, it was an enjoyable visit. It stormed during our visit which made it all the better being able to listen to the rain and enjoy each others company.

Beautiful property! It is definitely helpful to have a truck or four wheel drive as the roads leading to the property are quite steep in some areas. The house itself is amazing, modern yet warm, with a very large kitchen equipped for cooking meals every night if you wished. We especially loved the huge expansive windows and sliding doors in the bedrooms. The AC did not seem to be very effective but the fans did cool the bedrooms off a bit at night. This is more of a place that you plan to stay at while youre there rather than go back and forth from the nearest town.

This was the best AirBnB experience I've had. This location is secluded, gorgeous, and peaceful. It is nicer than the photos. A few things to note: 1) The road in is not paved. It is much easier to approach the property coming from the north of Sampson road. The dirt road approaching from the sout was slightly washed out. 2) The views and property are better than the pictures. It is strikingly peaceful and quiet. 3) You're about 30 minutes from downtown Blowing Rock 4) There were so, so many supplies. There were plenty of items in the kitchen to cook with. The bedding was lovely. 5) The property is managed by Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. We had a slight check in problem, but they were tremendously responsive and polite. Excellent to talk to. this rental is divine. we hope to be back!

Kudos to the property owner and management team for creating a phenomenal mountain getaway. The home strikes all the right chords. Its beautiful views, comfortable furnishings, well appointed kitchen, and access to hikes was the perfect combination. An added plus - the selection of LP records seemed to be taken right from my Pandora feed. Highly recommend!

Beautiful space! The owners did an amazing job of creating a sustainable retreat that has a stylish minimalist vibe. The kitchen is well done with pots and dishes. There is cast iron but prior to is they weren’t seasoned as they should. We lightly oiled them properly after our use and stored them back in their drawer. Loved that the owners had a nice assortment of vinyl and a record player to use. Bring your own of you love vinyl too! No matter the weather the view is breathtaking. Try to catch the gray hour of the morning, before the wildlife awakes and the sunrises. Remember to bring firewood the fire-pit is worth it!

This house was a great retreat, providing modern style and amenities paired with amazing mountain scenery and solitude. The interior is very cozy and well decorated. It is definitely located off the beaten path. I recommend at least a small SUV to get to it and 4 wheel drive if there is snow or ice.

What a tranquil paradise. The right amount of comfort and convenience balanced with simplicity and nature. The record player was a gem, between that and the fire pit our kids were thoroughly enchanted and we were blissfully chill while they went hunting for sticks to burn and sword fight with. Comfiest beds and best prepped kitchen I’ve ever had in an air BnB as well.

What an incredible cabin and don't let tiny house in the title fool you. The view alone is worth the price! The furnishings are so nice and the kitchen has everything you need and more. It was such a cozy and inspiring space to be in. Definitely make sure you have an SUV or AWD as it is quite a ways in on dirt and semi paved roads. We will be back!
