We had trouble getting into the cabin when we arrived, I called the rental company and had to leave a voice message. I also left a text message which they responded to quickly. Everything was very nice except there was a lot of dust and pet hair on the second floor. (Mgt. - We appreciate this feedback, and we are sharing this with our cleaning team to be addressed).

Our stay at Little Creek Lodge was fantastic! The cabin was clean and homey and the location was perfect. We had wonderful communication from Blue Ridge and loved the app and ability to text with the team. We had an initial problem with the code to get in and the team resolved the issue in minutes. I would absolutely rent from Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals again!

A beautiful house with most everything we could want. Beds were great, master bedroom was amazing, our whole family felt at home. The babbling brook was so peaceful with our morning coffee on the deck. Had trouble w lock getting in but host was quick to respond. Definitely a place we would book again.

We had a small hiccup in getting into the cabin; the door code that was sent did not work. After a quick phone call, all was good. The cabin is amazing and well stocked. We had the best weekend, with amazing snow fall. The roads up to the cabin are well taken care of, even with the ice and snow.

Our family was comfortable in this cabin and we all liked the peacefulness and privacy of it. It was only a 10 min drive into Boone or Valley Crucis.
We did have a little trouble with the key code and getting in. Our code did not work but luckily an upstairs door was unlocked for us to get in. The host was responsive immediately and helped us get the key code info figured out.

We have stayed at numerous places over the years during our annual trek to Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. Little Creek Lodge has been the best stay by far. It is spacious and clean but flexible enough to allow pets and use of the hot tub. The kitchen is big enough for making dinner for 8 or cozy enough for breakfast for two. The living room has space for several musicians to practice and the beds are comfortable. On top of all that the location is isolated enough to practice bagpipes! Who could ask for more?

Location was perfect! Hidden away but not too far off that a run to the store is an inconvenience.
My two complaints are the beds are uncomfortable, down stairs bed was very hard, main level and upper level beds sagged in the middle. And the house needs a deep dusting, behind the couch, above the cabinets. So if you are sensitive to dust I'd make sure you bring some allergy meds! The set up of the house is great for big groups/ multiple families. The main living room could use another/bigger couch as only 5 people could sit out there at a time. But overall we had a great week and would come back!

We had a wonderful time at our cabin on Strawberry Fields Lane in Vilas, NC. Loved the location and the wood used to make the cabin was beautiful. My grandson really enjoyed the double bunk beds in one of the rooms. We all enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch. Enjoyed the view. It was so relaxing out on the porch. Also enjoyed the fire pit where we made
smores and enjoyed the outdoors.
We would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Great house! Clean, well maintained, well stocked. Location is perfect. Close to everything you need but still feels secluded in the mountains. The only con is whoever sleeps in the bedroom downstairs, you can hear everything above (footsteps, laundry going, etc.). Otherwise that room is very comfortable! I would definitely recommend this house and can see going back in the future.

I rented this cabin as our grandson was graduating from App State in Boone.
We needed a place for all our family to stay and one that
would allow pets.
This cabin was no let down!
It was gorgeous we had plenty of room to move about and beds for everyone.
The place was very clean and the wrap around porch was very enjoyable!!
The only negative thing I can say is you only get one towel & washcloth per guest so you may want to bring extras.
They do furnish washer & dryers which helps.
Would definitely stay here again!

This cabin was perfect for our family of 12. Plenty of sleeping space, brought an air mattress and set it up in the downstairs den area. Plenty of plates, bowls, cups, silverware. There were a lot of other cooking appliances in the kitchen, but we didn’t use them. The kids loved the bunk beds and the hot tub! The creek was nice to listen to when you were on the deck as well! Definitely would stay here again! Close to lots of restaurants, ski/tubing areas resorts!

My family of 6 adults and 3 children just spent the week of Christmas at Little Creek. We had the most wonderful time there! The cabin seems larger than the online pics. We felt the cabin was very clean (other than some stains on the down stains carpet with no odor) The cabin smells very clean and has a nice wood burning fireplace smell to it, not strong at all, just very pleasant. We LOVED using the fireplace at nighttime, used it 3 nights. Wish we would have bought more wood. There are lots of places to buy it close by. Linens are nice.
The upstairs beds are very comfortable, down stairs is a king suite, but I will say the bed is very firm, luckily I brought a thick duvet with us so we used that as a mattress topper. The 3rd level master suite is amazing. Kids loved the bunk room. Great location less than 5 min from Ingles grocery store. Cabin is very close to Valle Crusis, Boone and Blowing Rock. We were able to go to Hawksnest for tubing and Appalachian Ski Mountian for amazing time ice skating on Christmas Day! Magical time for the kids (they live in Florida.)
We did have a small glitch getting into the cabin when we arrived, code was incorrect. Rental agency sent a new code and we were inside in less than 10 minutes,.
Once off the main road the roads are curvy and steep( as expected in the mountains), nothing crazy and we didn’t have any problems (Subaru and Ford truck) driveway to the house can park multiple cars and is not steeply inclined. Once you get to the house the first time it was a breeze. I would think if there was snow and ice you would definitely need an all wheel / 4 wheel drive vehicle though.
We would definitely return and stay in this cabin again.

Beautiful, spacious and clean cabin. The owners provided everything we needed for our stay. Games and colored pencils supplied were a hit with kids. We were bummed the hot tub wasn't working due to needing a part. We could have used it after hiking. We would stay again and recommend to others.

We really liked the house. It was cozy. Rock road coming in was pretty bumpy. House overall was in a great location. Centrally located near everything. My cons were that there is mold on the downstairs shower curtain. Also the paint had come off the outside stairs so anytime some walked downstairs to go to the hot tub bare foot, they’d get splinters. This happened several times. Overall would recommend the house. Enjoyed our stay.

House was awesome, super accommodating for 3 families and the kids loved the bunk beds!! Beds slept great, house was clean, having firewood readily available was great. Kids loved exploring the land and checking out the snow and the creek! Check in and out was quick and easy and the house is in a great location to get to great restaurants in Banner Elk.

Overall we had a fantastic stay at the little creek lodge. We had a couple of questions before checkout and the staff answered them quickly and were extremely friendly while doing so.
The only issue we had was with the grill. It was very unstable- when we opened it, the top was not connected very well. It almost fell off and would have caused a pretty big accident as it was very hot at that point.
Other than the grill- this place is great and the location is very convenient.

Little Creek met our needs for a family gathering. The house set up was perfect for 3 families. We enjoyed eating our meals together on the long table in the kitchen. The kids had fun playing in the stream. When the hot tub's chlorine bottomed out, the property manager quickly came and serviced the hot tub. If our family decides to return to the Boone area, we would seriously consider renting Little Creek again.

My family of 4 stayed with another family of 4 for 3 nights at this cabin. The cabin was perfect. It was equipped with everything we needed. The location is about 18 mins from Tweetsie Railroad and was convenient for trips there and to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The only negatives (which were not deal-breakers by any means) were the gravel driveway leading down to the property and the dishwasher door was functional but broken which made the dishwasher hard to load. I would recommend this property and we'd stay here again!

The cabin was just as advertised. Clean, well maintained, and everything just as described. With four bedrooms on three different levels there's plenty of room to spread out. With a gigantic table though, we can all be together for meals, games, etc. Watching TV or a movie together is difficult, but that's not why I rent a cabin to do anyway. The hot tub was large and hot, but the jets seemed underpowered. I will definitely consider renting this cabin again in the future.

Overall, we had a great stay at the Little Creek Lodge. We enjoyed the peace and quiet that this cabin offered, you really feel like you've escaped into the valley. It had so many things that made this cabin kid friendly for all ages. One thing that could improve the experience was the downstairs basement isn't heated that well. A heater was provided but it was hard to regulate the temperature. One other thing was that noise carries throughout the house, almost like there isn't enough insulation. For example, you can hear people talking/walking/spoon dropping on the main level if you are staying downstairs in the basement or if you are staying upstairs in the master. However, I would certainly stay in the house again because it had all the things we needed for our stay and was a nice relaxing vacation.

This house was the perfect weekend getaway for our group! Lisa, from Blue Ridge Rentals, was very helpful in the booking process. The house had enough space to accommodate a large group. We spent the afternoon in the rocking chairs on the porch and the evenings in the hot tub. We cooked a big family meal in the well-equipped kitchen. I would definitely recommend this home!

This property is BEAUTIFUL and in a great location! It's perfect for large groups, we had 3 families all together (including 5 children) and there was plenty of room for each family to comfortably have their own floor. The outdoor space is so nice, with plenty of room for the kids to run and it's at the end of a long gravel road so there was no worries of any cars passing by. It could use some updates as far as bedding (everything was clean, just normal wear and tear I think) and the mattresses are pretty firm (though the bunk bed room was a huge hit for the kids). We had a small concern with one of the fireplaces one day and they sent someone out immediately to check it out and all was well so the management was awesome. We would absolutely rent here again!

Very nice and clean. Spacious and spread out, perfect for big families or multiple families. We enjoyed the large dining area. Temperature is hard to regulate throughout the house... freezing cold on the bottom floor and warm on the tip floor, but the temperature at night is perfect for opening the windows. Beautiful property. The kids enjoyed the creek and climbing the hills out back.

My husband and I traveled with 2 other couple friends and had a great time. We ate out in the evenings and cooked breakfast at home. I really liked this cabin because the bedrooms were on 3 different floors allowing for privacy. I especially liked the separate living area on the bottom floor. We used the hot tub and cooked marshmallows and hot dogs on the fire pit. We had a great vacation and would definitely rent this cottage again.
